Final Countdown....

Woo hoo back on the wobbly work wheel......

I now have two days left at Job 2..

So glad I wore my stab vest, still plenty of backstabbing...

Who am I going to give my stab vest to, after I leave?

I had a visit of 3 Police Officers in the afternoon shift of Job 1.

While they were there, the Facebook Troll was so so quiet...

Even the BMW driver kept her finger down...

Fingers crossed hubby has his car back tomorrow,

As he waited for a bus in Evesham, his bus didn't stop.

Hubby finally got home, 2 hours late.

He had a lovely warm hug off me....

Woo hoo it's Sunday again....

Hubby wanted a ride, I had other ideas....

Like food shopping, making cards, getting Christmas decorations up etc.

We did our food shopping at Aldi.

I closed my eyes while sat in the car park, praying no one was going to hit my car!

Next off to Waitrose for reduced food,

Added bonus was the free coffee!

Made cards, Christmas decorations are up,

We are just about finished making the mince pies.

Using M&S mincemeat, and some Waitrose's Signature Spice in the pastry.

Hubby's luck might be in for that ride later ;)

Watching The New Wheels!

Woo hoo it's Saturday again!

Made two cups of tea this morning.

Mine tasted yuk!(It wasn't down to the teabags!)

It was due to the water ( we are in a hard water region!)

So we have invested in a water filter kettle ;)

Poppit our black hamster has had a new hamster cage.

I picked up my new shopping trolley as well :)

The trolley was well used today.

 Now to tuck into my M&S meatballs with Aldi Spaghetti,

While we watch Strictly Come Dancing

 

 

Lots of Shake,Shake,Shake...

Woo Hoo Friday has arrived!

Celebrating by doing a lot of Shake,Shake Shake

Didn't see that BMW driver of the last two days.

Just plain busy trying to keep alive!

Made the most of the day by:

Wrapping some presents,

Followed by some nice expensive filter coffee,

A little bit of housework was done,(not too much, mind)

Picked hubby up from the bus stop.

We are temporary down to one car!

My Pink Princess will be used a lot this weekend!

The saga with the lady BMW driver continues on....

I was doing JOB 1, watching the cars go by,

When she went past, driving, giving me the finger!

Now I could do something,but why go down to her level?

Someone suggested I do a certain hand signal of my own...

But hey, I so believe in Karma.....

I am still feeling iffy!

Went to Job 1 this morning.

I told a BMW car driver NOT to park on the Zig Zags lines.

"I know the law!" She barked at me.

I now have only got 3 days left at Job 2.

(counting down the days & got the balloons ready)

Got 2 Xmas cards through the post...

I think tomorrow I might have to start making the Xmas cards....

And have a quick play with Henry.....

Welcome to 1st December!

I tried to give someone a "£5 off when you spend £40"voucher at Lakeland.

"Where is the nearest Lakeland store to here?" I was asked.

"At Webbs."I replied.

"Oh I remember Lakeland, I visited the store while I was in Dubai!" they laughed!

I have been reminded 3 times (Just in case I haven't circled 9th December on my calendar!)

 that I am leaving Job 2 next Wednesday.....

To top today off,I accidentally smashed a glass in the kitchen,

Then Annie Lennox's "Walking on Broken Glass" came on the radio....

 

Handle Me With Lots Of Care.....

Back on the wobbly work wheel,

I did Job 1.

Got back home, felt crap, back to bed.

This migraine was taking a long to disappear.

Couldn't do Job 2.

Back to bed...

I just had a numb headache.

Drinking lots of Lemsip.

Lets hope I feel better tomorrow...

 As Henry the hoover is wimping in the corner of the Dining Room...(He wants to come out and play!)

One Wheel On My Trolley.....

It has come round really quick!

After winning free tickets for the BBC Good Food Show,

It was time to use them!

Out of bed at 7am.

Sandwiches made, Flask made up, cold drinks packed.

Caught 2 trains to get to the Birmingham NEC.

Free food, yum yum yum, and free goody bags.

Taking my shopping trolley down the stairs to catch the train home.

Then one wheel broke off!!!!!

(My son tried to reattach it, no luck on it staying on!)

Hubby and son then had to carry it everywhere!

I started to sing:

"One wheel on my trolley, and I'm just rolling along......"

 

Something For Nothing (Almost!)

Woo hoo the weekend arrived by gusts of wind we had last night!

Everything was nailed down, so it wasn't blown away.

All the males in the household had haircuts this morning.

Done the food shopping.

The Dr Who quiz was cancelled at the Library :(

Still enjoyed a takeaway M&S mocha and a read of a free newspaper.

We popped into Sainsbury's and picked up a early Christmas present...

What was even better, I had £15 of nectar points to spend...

So I got Chinese takeaway and a good film for nothing ;)

 

Make It So...

Woo hoo the weekend is nearly here.

I didn't get round to doing no baking whatsoever!

More talking than anything.

Finally got the Christmas presents bought.

Didn't even have to leave the house either!

I feel sorry for Santa, he is going to have a bad back

after delivering the presents!

Don't worry, I will leave a stiff drink and a homemade mince pie for him on Xmas Eve.

Better start on making the Xmas cards, or they might turn out to Happy 2016 Cards instead!

Getting Down & Dirty

Henry the hoover done the stairs and landing.

Closely followed by the mop and bucket.

Mopped kitchen,hall,and bathroom.

Ran out of time to some baking....

So guess what I won't be doing tomorrow...

I decided to dig out the Santa hat for Job 2.

I know it's only November 25th, but I have 6 days left there.

I like making dinner times fun!

4 weeks and counting to the Big Day!

I haven't even made a card, wrapped a present, baked the Xmas cake or made the Chocolate log...yet!

I soon will have more time on my hands,

than I know what to do with in December!

Counting down to losing Job 2

8 days and counting....

It was not as cold as it was yesterday,

But still needed the thermal.....vest!

One of my toys are brought out to play with tonight...

My hairdryer....my hair now getting nice and long...

When I had hair this long( a good 20 years ago)

One former co-worker said about me with long hair

"I either look like a "lady" or a very badly dressed transvestite."

 

Time For The Thermal Knickers!!

It's freezing cold Monday time.

I reached for the thermal knickers.

As Mr Frost visited last night.

I had loads of clothing on, 

Had to scrape,scrape and more scrape the car windows.

I added more layers for Job 2.

I had a elderly man comment on how warm I looked at Job 1.

I did say to him, "It would surprise him what I was wearing under my coat!"

He replied to that,"Bet it takes a long time to get undressed for bed?".

"With the warm hands of my husband, very quick actually!".

With that comment, I winked at him ;)

 

Henry To The Rescue!!

Welcome to a very cold Sunday.

We spent today, getting the house ready for Winter.

Henry the Hoover came out,

With a dash of Shake 'n' Vac.

Drunk fine filter coffee.

The Winter curtain were ready to put up.

So while I took down the summer curtains,

I knocked the shelf containing the expensive filter coffee!

Good job Henry was already out to play..

Lie-in, hugs and kisses with hubby,

Visited town with the pink shopping trolley,

Had my normal take away M&S coffee,

Read the Guardian newspaper.

Only to discover Keith Michell the actor had died :(

He played Henry VIII twice in the 1970's in,

 Henry VIII and His Six Wives & The Six Wives of Henry VIII (BBC TV Series)

After watching the reruns of 1980's Top Of The Pops.

Who got to number 5 in the charts with:

"Captain Beaky"???

The weekend is nearly here....;P

I visited some good friends in Studley.

I brought some mince pies direct from my kitchen.

However, not homemade but from Mr Kipling!

I had a good chinwag for 2 hours.

Now for another chinwag with more good friends.

Caught up on some gossip.

Wished them a Happy Xmas and Merry New Year.

Now back home to charge up the mouth!!!

 

 

Playing With Lots Of Paper

It's Thursday once again.

Time for the Xmas jumper to be put back on.

I was off to a Making Xmas Cards Course.

I made Iris Folding Xmas card, and a Quilling Xmas Card.

I enjoyed a mince pie and a coffee,

While the rain came down outside.

I enjoyed myself so much,

Making,sticking, and playing with paper!

I have put my name down onto the 

 Create a Christmas Wreath course.

Wearing a rather large grin while I was working :)

I went to a Titanic party that was held at my son's school.

Nice to have coffee and chat with some of the Year 6 parents.

I am starting to make my Christmas cards tomorrow

Nice to relax, sing a bit, drink coffee and be creative!

 

Pulling The String....

I have had a busy Tuesday.

Counting down the days until I finish at Job 2.

Only 10 days left..

I have been singing,dancing and lots of woo hoos!

I phoned up a Government Department.

I made the woman laugh so much.

I got complimented on me being so happy and funny...(I blushed)

My answer was, "the string gets pulled from my back, and the happiness just about lasts all day"

 

Amazing Monday :)

Late last night,

The new mop was broken in,

to mop up four pints of milk that dropped out of

our fridge :(

 Today got better:

First, I won tickets to the BBC Good Food Show at the NEC.

I will be leaving my Job 2 in 4 weeks.

One adult and the kids will miss me.

No one else.

Secondly, I applied for a Dinner Lady job at another First School a few weeks ago.

Had interview. Then I forgot about.

Email and phone call,this afternoon,

 they offered me the job :) :)

So I start the new job after Christmas.

I don't think I will be needing the stab vest at the new job.

I have been a VERY busy person today on this Sunday

I have got some vouchers to have £6 off when I spend £30.

It's so easy to spend £30 in there.

Stratford Upon Avon's Waitrose raided their reduced food....

Plus free coffee!

Alcester's Waitrose got loads and loads of reduced food...

Until I got to the till, the total was £29.90!

Grabbed some reduced noodles,

That's another £6 off the bill thanks!

Going to eat like Royalty for less ££££'s this week ;)))

Picked up a lovely 5 floor Hamster cage for Ruby the hamster (good deed)

Then off to the WRE in Worcester.

More lovely craft crap for me!( good deed)

Dropped off two boxes of books to Books For Free shop in Droitwich (good deed)

Raided Waitrose for reduced food, and free coffee.

We just got back before it started to get dark.

Front door shut, heating on.

Time for the purple rabbit onesie to come out!!

Welcome to Friday 13th.

I enjoyed a half price breakfast with hubby at Webb's.

Visited my late mum's grave with some roses.

As it would have been her 71st Birthday today.

The black cloud has now lifted.(As you can gather)

I am so happy I won't have to put up with the

 backstabbing two-faced bitches in the future.

As I have a one way ticket to another planet ;)
