One Bad Monday!

If anything can go wrong, it will - Murphy's Law
Welcome to what a bad Monday it is going to turn out to be 😔
The bed was well used last night ;)
We used the lovely shower as well ;)
Get dressed.
Goes down to breakfast.
No menus were on the table to see what we could have. Tired to open the bag of Alpen and it exploded everywhere!
No bin to put the empty wrapper in.
Another guest had to pass over the menu.
I had poached eggs on toast.
Back to our room to pack.
Quick coffee.
The views from our bedroom window.
I didn't enjoy the stay this time.
Not coming again after this.
Handed the card back in, and didn't even get asked if we enjoyed our stay!
Puts the bag in the car.
Now to dodge the sheep on the way out.
On the way to Evesham ....
Parks  the car and goes and looks for some bargains....
Nice statues...
Bargains....↓
We went for coffee....
It started to rain when we were going back to the car.
We nipped into Waitrose....
Went back to the car, and on the way to Lidl's.
The Housing Officer phoned up, about the questions I left for on Friday. Especially about the outstanding repairs that need doing. Then about the state of the house next door. He would let me know about it.
Goes into Lidl's to get the week's remaining shopping done.
Still raining on the way home.
Finally gets home.
Unpacks the car.
Loads of post.
(No wonder we had nothing on Saturday!)
One letter was from the Council.
Warrant???????
I was livid, and filled out the piece of paper they needed back by the 17th August.
I fancy to go to Worcester court
(Nice this time of the year!)
I wanted for than 15 minutes in the court.
The reason, is I have the blue piece of paper from the Plumber from last Wednesday who did the annual gas inspection!
I went to the Post Office to post it off!
I popped into see my friend on the way back.
I phoned a Councillor up on the way back home to explain the court letter from the Council.
Back home to unpack all my bargains.
Cup of tea is needed as well.
Quick look into today's newspaper.
Tea time.
Opened a Fortune Cookie...
I wrote 3 blog posts....
Sleep Tea Time.
Now off to bed, hoping tomorrow will be a better day.

Having Time Away!

One can never be too thin or too rich - Wallis Simpson
Welcome to my Sunday Love 💓
At least the sun is shining!
Breakfast and brew.
Gets dressed.
Puts the washing machine on.
Hubby goes for a walk.
I get on with getting the blog updated.
Hubby comes back and tries to cut the lawn when the rain starts to come down!
I wrote 3 blog entries.
Time for lunch.
Then it was time to pack the overnight bag!
Once packed, I made the tea to take with us.
It was still raining when we loaded the car.
Hopefully it will carry on raining tomorrow...
On we go....
Nice views from the car park.
We signed in and got the card to our room.
We took the lift to the first floor.
 Lovely cobweb I found...
No bathmat or fan in the room....:(
If this was the upgraded room, what was the room like I booked to have?
We had the tea, I prepared earlier.
Time for a bit of Bond...
Chocolate time!
Now to enjoy this lovely bed.....↓

Celebrating With Balloons!

I believe in large families. Everyone should have at least three husbands - Zsa Zsa Gabor
Welcome to my Saturday fun 🎈
Today is my late dad's Birthday.
I pumped up the balloons before  Breakfast and Brew.
We listened to "Sounds of the 60s"
Top 3 Singles from 1969.
3: Robin Gibb - Saved by the Bell.
2: John Lennon - Give Peace A Chance
1: The Rolling Stones - Honky Tonk Women
Got dressed.
Hopefully the rain keeps off....
Off to wish my dad a Happy Birthday 🎈
Gives them the weekly update.
Then off to town to get my new pair of reading glasses.
The view from Car Park 4:
Looking down↓
Picks up my reading glasses...
I could read the smallest print!
Went for a quick coffee and nibble.
Now to visit two charity shops.
Got some nice things from both!
Brilliant film!
Now to do a good deed of dropping 4 bags of books at Coughton Court.
Sequin time!
They were glad of the books.
Back on the road to do some food shopping at Lidl's.
Nice.
The 10% helped off the bill.
Back home to unpack the shopping.
Light lunch.
Quick look into today's newspaper.
Out came the red cooking pot.
Fills it up with some lovely things and in it goes into the oven.
My older son comes round and does a big catch up before I dished it up.
We was going to watch...
We changed our minds and decided to watch another great film instead...
I dropped older son back home afterwards.
The garden lights were looking good.
I had my sleep tea.
Off to a warm bed with even warmer hands!
