Goodbye To August!

My wife was looking through a fashion magazine, and she saw a fur coat. She said, "I want that." So I cut it out and gave it to her - Tommy Cooper
Welcome to my Tuesday 🌼🌼🐧
It was nice to have a warm hug.
Breakfast with brew.
I gave hubby a nice sloppy wet πŸ’‹ before he went to work.
Dressed.
Last day of August!
That went quick!
It's my youngest brother's 37th Birthday tomorrow.......
Not long before I go back to work....
Now to get some gardening done...
My postman gave me my parcel I should have had on Saturday.
His excuse was the trackers came in AFTER he went out, he looked at it when he came back in, and thought she can wait for it until Tuesday.
Funny when I worked for Royal Mail, you had to wait for the trackers to come in..
(Must have changed the rules since I left)
Back to sorting out the gardening.
My Trellises arrived.
I put them in the garden.
At least the flowers can grow up them.
Watered all the plants.
Sorted out the bit of garden for the time being.
More to be added soon...
The garden looking well nice!
Lunchtime.
Now to get on with writing 3 blog posts!
I had time for Tea at 3.
The Delivery Driver from earlier,
And gave a bit of my trellis that came off in his lorry.
That was nice of him!
As hubby was visiting his dad again.
Time for Meat free Stir Fry.
Quick look in today's newspaper.
Larry Grayson , (born William Sulley White), was an English comedian and television presenter who was best known in the 1970s and early 1980s. He is best remembered for hosting the BBC's popular series The Generation Game and for his high camp and English music hall humour.
His camp stand-up act consisted mainly of anecdotes about a cast of imaginary friends; the most frequently mentioned were Everard, Apricot Lil and Slack Alice. He is often cited as one of the first gay entertainers to have enjoyed mass appeal, although he never made any reference to his sexuality. He was devoted to his home town of Nuneaton, where a museum display relating to his life and work and a memorial have been established.
He would have been 98 years old 🎈
He died aged 71 in 1995.
