Using The Whiskey For Other Things...

Welcome to my lockdown Thursday🎈
I had a warm hug and a nice cup of tea↓
 I had breakfast.
Got dressed.
Now out for a daily walk.
The flowers have come out↓
 Off we go↓
 The sunshine is out↓
 We gets back.
Hubby goes back to work.
I enjoy coffee and read of the newspaper↓
 Bobby Vee, was an American singer, songwriter and musician who was a teen idol in the early 1960s and also appeared in films. According to Billboard magazine, he had thirty-eight Hot 100 chart hits, ten of which reached the Top 20. He had six gold singles in his career.He would have been 77 years old 🎈
He died aged 73 in 2016

    I gets yesterday's blog wrote.
Light lunch time↓
 I start on tonight's evening meal.
All the chicken was pan fried then added to the oven.
Then I start making a Whiskey and Ginger cake.
I left it far too late to get the paddle out of the breadmaker.
After an hour it was ready....
Found some nice icing to cover it with chopped hazelnuts and a dash of chocolate↓
 Tea at 3pm with cake and coffee↓
 We got 3/6 on the TV themes quiz.
I had a quick powernap.
Then it was time to dish up the evening meal.
Chicken,with Leeks and Mash↓
 We watched the final episode of season 3 of:
Off to work in the daylight↓
  Listening to some great music↓
I gets back to carry on watching season 4.
It's getting cold...
Off to that warm bed....

Ha Ha Kept My Hands Busy....

Welcome to my lockdown Hump of the Week🐫🐪
 I had a warm hug and cup of tea↑
Hubby went and got the newspaper.
I enjoyed a little bit of bed warmth.
Once dressed.
I tidied up the back garden.
(Lots of room made)
Even filled up the third wheelie bin.
I collected some chives from the front garden.
All chopped and added to the bread mixture.

 I got back.
While I was out, Hubby had a quick play with Henry
 We finished series 3 now :)
We watched the newspaper review....

At Least I Got That One!

 I enjoyed a much needed hug and a cup of tea↑
Has breakfast.
Got dressed.
It was raining.
Now to use Sexy Beast↓
 
 Coffee and nibble time↓

A great CD arrived for me↓
 I swept the kitchen floor,
Then mopped.
Light lunch time↓
 Finally finished my Pom Pom wreath↓
 Tea at 3pm↓
We had a go on the TV themes quiz.
At least I knew what number 6 was↓↓
 We got 3/6.
Off for a little ride out to top up on the shopping↓
 
 At least we can wipe the shopping trolley down in Lidl (Unlike at Morrisons last Friday)
Some people were not doing the 2 meter rule.
 I did a bit too much spaghetti for tea↓
 We watched one episode of:
 Off to burn of the evening meal.
Work and singing along↓
 I gets back to watch a interesting programme...↓
 It featured a hotel from Blackpool
(My late parents stopped there years ago)
 At least they didn't finish last!
I caught up with the newspaper review.
I then went to bed with my cold hands....

 I had the warm hug and cup of tea in bed↓
I was so warm and cosy,
I didn't want to get out.....
Hubby went and fetched the newspaper in his car.
He went to work↓
Once I got downstairs...
I went outside for some fresh air↓
 My younger brother phoned me to say our Prodical brother has admitted to the Solicitor our late dad did give him the car for work carried out on the bathroom.£1900 has been taken off the bathroom invoice, leaving £900.
The Solicitor is now waiting for bank statements from 2018 to see if our late dad did pay the Prodical brother the full £2500 or just £300....
My mouth is dry after all this yakking on the phone.

Kate Pierson is an American singer, lyricist, and one of the singers and founding members of the B-52's. A multi-instrumentalist, she plays guitar, bass and various keyboard instruments.She is 72 years old🎈

 Once the cakes were put in the oven.
Time for tea at 3!
 We had a go on the tv themes quiz.
We got 3 out of 6.

Off to burn some of that banana cake.
Walked up and down our road twice.
Then its off to work I go with some great music↓
 
 Caught up on the news when I got back.
Watched the newspaper review.
Off to bed with my cold hands...
