Putting The Bikini Away.......

Welcome to my Tuesday.
Busy bee in the sunshine today.
 Brew and hugs followed↑
Breakfast, then gets dressed.
Out for our daily walk↓
 Blue skies↓
 The sun is still out when I got back↓
 Coffee and nibble time↓
 Jimmy Jones was an American singer-songwriter who moved to New York City while a teenager. According to Allmusic journalist Steve Huey, "best known for his 1960 R&B smash, 'Handy Man,' Jones sang in a smooth yet soulful falsetto modeled on the likes of Clyde McPhatter and Sam Cooke."He would have been 90 years old 🎈
 He died aged 82 in 2012.
Charles  Haid III  is an American actor and film director, with notable work in both movies and television. He is best known for his portrayal of Officer Andy Renko in Hill Street Blues.He is 77 years old 🎈

Off to Dunelm to pick up my orders↓
 The click and collect orders are in the not used coffee shop. In the bag they were, and out I went.
This was half of my order↓
 The yellow valance sheet was put on the bed.
Followed by a new yellow sheet on top of the mattress.
Changed the duvet cover...↓
After all the huffing and puffing changing the bed.
Time for a light lunch↓
 
 
 
 While I was upcycling my lamp shade↓
 
 Dion was being interviewed on the radio about  his new album...
I love listening to a bit of Dion..

We got 2/6 on the TV Themes Quiz.
The DJ was talking about the list of  films that make you cry, that the BBC has compiled.
Hubby said "The Boy in Stripped Pyjamas"
He emailed his film↑ and my answers:
"The Guardian of the Galaxy 2" 
and 
"Avengers:End Game"
The DJ then read out that due to crying session in End Game, I couldn't reach my tissues that was in my handbag, on the floor in complete darkness....

Time to put the bikini 👙 away as the rain and cold is coming back tomorrow...

Following The Footsteps

Welcome to my Sunday🎈
I woke up at 6.20am. I decided to go back to sleep.....Zzzzz.
Woke up later on.
Tea and hugs a plenty↓
 My Amazon order of paint arrived↓
 We had breakfast,
Got changed.
We nipped out to get the newspaper.
On the way back, I wanted a sad look at my late dad's house↓
 
 
 
 
 The greenhouse has been sold↑↓
 One shed has been sold↓
 
 The living room↓
 This was found in the loft↓
 This was my bedroom, and my older son's bedroom too↓
 
 The view of the garden↓
 
 My dad's bedroom↓
 
 This was my old room, which was then turned into a study↓
 
 My old stickers on the back of the door↓
 My old school desk↓
 
 Off home for a coffee and nibble↓

 Now to get the garden sorted....
 
 Dark clouds coming over↓
 More tidying up off the garden↓
 
 
 Late lunch time↓
 Now to paint the step↓
 My new garden table has arrived↓
 Hubby has to take apart the old one↓
 
 My younger brother dropped more stuff round from my dads.
Some of it is not fit for purpose!
 I found a nice picture of my older son↓
 I ordered a skip for this week.
My younger brother offered to take the stuff away for the same price of the skip.
I turned him down, as the tips are shut for the time beginning, and I didn't want the stuff just dumped somewhere where it wasn't supposed to go...
Nice pie and veg for the evening meal↓
 I looked outside the front garden and saw someone has stepped on the wet step, I just had finished painting!

 
 
 The third coat has to be applied tomorrow.
