Trying To Enjoy The Friday Feeling.....!

I treasure every moment that I do not see her - Oscar Levant
Welcome back to the Friday Feeling 🎈🎈
Breakfast and Brew.
Dressed.
Now to leave the house for the final shifts of the week!
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹
Off to work I go.
On goes the big big sunglasses.
On goes the summer hat and summer coat.
I put on my lights and get the newspaper.
Swaps the newspaper for my big stick.
Now to put on my other lights.
Now let's go to work....🍭
Terrible Friday.
Parking on the double yellow lines again.
One taxi drove straight again!
One TA gave me some cake and some sunflower plants. I gave one sunflower plant to a parent who was going to buy one for her grandson.
Finished in one piece.
I did my survey of the Recreation Ground.
I took photos of the Pillar Box in Mappleborough Green ↓
Off for a coffee and chat.
I order my coffee and wait for my friend to arrives.
My friend arrives.
Then someone comes into the coffee shop who I had the misfortune to work with. I totally ignore her,as I haven't nothing whatsoever to say to her. My friend who also had worked with her, goes up and strikes up a conversation with her, just not five minutes before, said, "I won't speak to her!"
My friend comes back to our table, and says, "She didn't do nothing to me to fall out with her!"
I goes back to drinking my coffee.
The ex-worker shouts "Goodbye." to my friend.
Anyway we leave and I wish my friend a good weekend.
Back home I go.
I don't bother with a liquid lunch.
I enjoy a ham sandwich instead.
I talk to my hubby while he on his dinner break.
Now to do the final shift of the week.
On goes my Summer hat and summer coat.
I put on both lights.
I needed a lolly to keep cool....↓
I was waiting by
Sexy Beast, and no friends turned up at all :(
I waited until I had 2 minutes to start my shift.
I grabbed my big stick and went over to start.
It was a bit quiet for a Friday.
Still had car drivers stopping in the keep clear space!
Finished in one piece.
Back home I go.
Back home to finish the cake!
No cooking tonight for me..
Hubby comes back and has a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹
Hubby brings the Pork Balls for tea.
Tea is served.
Back to finishing the cake.
Finally finished at 11pm!
Sleep Tea Time
It's hubby's Birthday tomorrow 🍻

Goodbye To August!

My wife was looking through a fashion magazine, and she saw a fur coat. She said, "I want that." So I cut it out and gave it to her - Tommy Cooper
Welcome to my Tuesday 🌼🌼🐧
It was nice to have a warm hug.
Breakfast with brew.
I gave hubby a nice sloppy wet πŸ’‹ before he went to work.
Dressed.
Last day of August!
That went quick!
It's my youngest brother's 37th Birthday tomorrow.......
Not long before I go back to work....
Now to get some gardening done...
My postman gave me my parcel I should have had on Saturday.
His excuse was the trackers came in AFTER he went out, he looked at it when he came back in, and thought she can wait for it until Tuesday.
Funny when I worked for Royal Mail, you had to wait for the trackers to come in..
(Must have changed the rules since I left)
Back to sorting out the gardening.
My Trellises arrived.
I put them in the garden.
At least the flowers can grow up them.
Watered all the plants.
Sorted out the bit of garden for the time being.
More to be added soon...
The garden looking well nice!
Lunchtime.
Now to get on with writing 3 blog posts!
I had time for Tea at 3.
The Delivery Driver from earlier,
And gave a bit of my trellis that came off in his lorry.
That was nice of him!
As hubby was visiting his dad again.
Time for Meat free Stir Fry.
Quick look in today's newspaper.
Larry Grayson , (born William Sulley White), was an English comedian and television presenter who was best known in the 1970s and early 1980s. He is best remembered for hosting the BBC's popular series The Generation Game and for his high camp and English music hall humour.
His camp stand-up act consisted mainly of anecdotes about a cast of imaginary friends; the most frequently mentioned were Everard, Apricot Lil and Slack Alice. He is often cited as one of the first gay entertainers to have enjoyed mass appeal, although he never made any reference to his sexuality. He was devoted to his home town of Nuneaton, where a museum display relating to his life and work and a memorial have been established.
He would have been 98 years old 🎈
He died aged 71 in 1995.
Michael Sheard  was a Scottish character actor who featured in many films and television programmes, and was known for playing villains. His most prominent television role was as strict deputy headmaster Maurice Bronson in the children's series Grange Hill, which he played between 1985 and 1989. He appeared as Admiral Ozzel in The Empire Strikes Back (1980).
He died on this day in 2005 aged 67
I watched the first episode of a new series on 9/11.
Hubby came back to watch it as well.
Sleep Tea time.
Hoping for a Dry Hump tomorrow 🐫

Emptying The Skip!

Happiness is having a large, loving, caring, close-knit family in another city - George Burns
Welcome to my Tuesday πŸ’£
Nice hug with brew!
Breakfast.
I got the kids up for school.
Dressed.
It's going to be another warm one!
Gave out some sloppy wet πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ to everyone.

 Big big sunglasses time.
Summer coat goes on.
Tree shot.
Now for the fun to start..
It was starting to get really warm.
Getting hot under the collar.
It's a lot better than yesterday for car drivers stopping.
Still no lambo :(
Finished in one piece.
Now home for coffee in the garden!
My friend got in touch to go around her house to see the state of her house after she had a fire in garage last year.
Where the fire started↑
This is where her daughter's cot was,
Her room is above the garage.
This is the ceiling↑
She can't move back in until all the repairs have been made. She is looking at it being November.
Says Goodbye and goes home for lunch.
Then back out for the afternoon session.
On goes the Summer coat again.
I'm glad I took a bottle of water, it was getting really hot. Just three car drivers failed to stop.
There will be a time when stick hits windscreen.
Getting hot under the collar again!
Finishes in one piece.
Gets home, and ex-plum is waiting to take his kids out to McDonalds. Has as quick chat, then off they go.
I have to get ready for my final shift at the cleaning job.
Off I go.
More big tunes to listen to:
Gets in.
Loads up the skip for the final time.
Didn't see no other cleaners.
After I finished.
I emptied the skip, just leaving black bags, feather duster and a new toilet brush in it with the vacuum cleaner.
Now to sing to my heart's content on the way home.
Back home.
I had a lovely tea.
Then to enjoy a nice long cold bath!
I was too tired for Sleep Tea.
I am glad this is the last day of that cleaning job.
Let's see what Hump Day tomorrow brings..🐫
