Return To Sender

Always and never are two words you should always remember never to use - Wendell Johnson
Welcome to my Monday...
Let's hop onto the tiny Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
 Brew and hug↑↑↑
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Off for the daily walk↓
The garden looks nice↓
Gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before he left to go to his office.
I had my chores to get on with...
Fed birds and changed their water.
Put on Dishwasher.
Tidied up the kitchen and living room.
Even had a quick play with Henry↓
Then quick look in the newspaper↓
Carlos Santana is a Mexican and American guitarist who rose to fame in the late 1960s and early 1970s with his band Santana, which pioneered a fusion of rock and roll and Latin American jazz. Its sound featured his melodic, blues-based lines set against Latin and African rhythms played on percussion instruments not generally heard in rock, such as timbales and congas. He experienced a resurgence of popularity and critical acclaim in the late 1990s. In 2015, Rolling Stone magazine listed him at No. 20 on their list of the 100 greatest guitarists. He has received 10 Grammy Awards and three Latin Grammy Awards, and was inducted along with his namesake band into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.He is 73 years old 🎈
Then my friend arrived for coffee, chat and cake!
The Seller of the Monster got my letter I posted on Saturday.
This is her response to it:
"I have today received your threatening, incorrect letter. i maintain the sewing machine was in perfect working order when I sold it. However, in order to stop you harrassing me, there are two options. As an act of good faith I will pay for a new pedal. It must have the correct fitting which you must confirm if you look at this link: Or, If you prefer to return the sewing to me I will return your money, less the cost of the foot pedal (which is not £220, as you stated)."
My response to that was:
"The link you sent me, will not fit the sewing machine. I have looked over the World Wide Web including Ebay. The pedal is a p500. Two are in the USA. The only one avaliable in the UK is the link I am providing.  regards"
She came back with:
"Well, i have found one for £36.50. But, in any case, I think it best at this stage if you just return the sewing machine to me. I will put cash in a bag, outside, for you to check before you return the machine. Please don't forget the extra items inc. the Tupperware Box and items."
I like to see this foot pedal for £36.50, as I have been into the bowels of the World Wide Web and I only found 3 that will fit the Monster.
So it goes back to Sender tomorrow.
I even took a video of it not working...
Then I boxed it all away for tomorrow↓
 Tea at 3 time↓
I have designed a cake for the upcoming cake competition next month↓↓
Gave hubby a wet 💋 when he came back from work.
Nice Chicken Stir Fry for tea↓
 Off to work I go↓

With a big tune to start with↓
 Gets back in the sunshine↓
 More of:
With some sleep tea↓
 Roll on to tomorrow....
Waving Goodbye to the Monster....

The rain starts.....↓

Gives Hubby big wet 💋💋💋
as he is off to work at his office.
I have my table back↓

Saying Goodbye To Our Holiday.

A warm welcome back, folks! For the record, no amount of fasting and prayers will erase the fact that we have lots of work to do. On that note, let’s get started!
I was up early again..
 The sun is coming up↑
Hubby was loading up his car↓
Then we go for a walk before breakfast.
We have the newspaper ready to read on the way home.
We said goodbye to Simon and Rhona.
One last look of the front.

After an hour and half of driving.
Time for a rest and a drink of coffee!
I got some magazines to give me ideas on how to do up our house on a budget!
 Driving into the rain
 We arrive back home safely!
 We unpack car.
I enjoy a coffee and nibble before I go back to work↓
I come back to see hubby had mowed the lawn.
It looked so nice until I noticed some of the grass hadn't been cut near the garden table.
He then told me, he had cut through the cable to the mower.....
Good job the mower was plugged into safety plug!!!!
*Now on the look out for another lawn mower*
The boss of the scafforders came round to see if nothing was in the way so they can start putting up the scafford up tomorrow.
We had some nice tea.
Then round to see my dad.
We got back home after two hours.
It was so nice to get back in our own bed :)
