Making Room

It being Thursday...

I was in need of coffee and chat...

 

 

 

 Now for coffee, toast and chat...

I visited Boomerang to get some more shelving units for my Dining Room.

I bought three units. 

(They will be delivered tomorrow)

Then for the next six hours, 

We had to make room in the Dining Room!

By 11pm, we were all tired,

I didn't need any lavender body lotion to go off to sleep....

Welcome to my Hump of the Week.

Once my work was done....

I felt a Dunelm Experience coming on the horizon!

Wish my living room looked like this ↓

This would look nice in my bedroom↓

(But got no room!)

I could break in the below bed quite easily if I was allowed!↓

I could well imagine hubby and me rolling around on the sheepskin rug in front of the telly on those winter nights, trying to keep warm 🤣↓

I had a little visit to the Dentist.

£20.60 + free tube of toothpaste for my trouble.

I unpacked my nice reduced items from Dunelm...\o/

After I had run out of paint, while painting my 1950's unit.

I helped my handyman son put my bird feeder stand together.

Followed by the hanging of the owl wind chimes!

Pimp It Up!

A little bit of a lie in was due....

Once I got up, it was time to add the pinny..

I had some serious tidying up to do.

Dining room to do.

Coats in the hallway to sort out.

Then my mate came out for a play...

 (Not before having a cup of special coffee)

My new door mat arrived!↓

And my Meerkat dressed as Obi Wan↓

Now to pimp up my 1950's kitchen cabinet...↓

 with some filler↓

It's a good job, I put down some newspaper before I started to paint it!↓

Welcome to my Monday...

What better to start of the morning with...

I went to get another blazer for my youngest as he starts High School next year.

(Best to be prepared, as the blazers normally cost £34+ each)

(His one was half price \o/)

It was a good job I got my other son his blazer for High School at the beginning of the month as the school shop I normally go, wasn't going to have any in now for the new ↓Year 9's↓

Going back to the car, I bumped into 3 ex-posties who I used to work with.

Nice to talk about the old days 😁

At least I got the items I need to do my bathroom....

Plus a special treat for our garden....🏡

To finish my Monday off with a dash of Pink in the bath....

Spending Time With My Hunk Of Love

Had some fun with the Kama Sutra Honey Dust last night.

We had a nice lie-in to recover...

Then it was off to do some food shopping...

( Didn't have time to visit Dunelm :()

Had some needles in my shoulder later on.

Enjoyed coffee while hubby was doing his massage course...

Our treat for the month...

Got a list as long as your arm of jobs to do over the next two weeks to do in the home....

(Might leave some for the week after, as hubby has gone a week off!)

Now back to using some of that Honey Dust... 

 

 

Family + 1

We are adding another member to our family today.

Just hoping the rain keeps off!

She is called Ruby 2.

Once she got settled into her cage.

Off we went back out. 

Found some nice boxsets of some 80's TV programmes.

 

I so liked their theme tunes!

Nice cake, nice price...🎂↓

(Was £7 now £3.50)

Treated myself to some more nice tunes

Gives Willow a box to play with..

Trying Not To Get Walked Over!

At last we reached Friday...

I was on  mission to get another outside door mat..

The one I really wanted, they didn't have in the shop,

If I wanted to buy it on-line, p&p was £4!

So back home to enjoy coffee and surf the net

Finally found a funny one!

Hailstones followed by heavy rain...

Now to dry out & enjoy some Friday Feeling with..
