You Can Never Know When You Need It!

Welcome to the *Monday Feeling*

Everyone had a big 💋  before they left.

I looked out of the window..

 The white stuff still there!

I had to sort out my craft crap.

Four huge boxes.....

What was I going to find in there???

I found loads of ribbons...

 plus loads of loose ribbon.....

I found tonnes of....

 I even found some Italian wool I bought from the Hobbycraft show at the NEC in 2012.

A friend who I went with asked in 2013, if I still had the wool?

I replied "Yes".

"You should sell it if you are not using it!"

I tapped my nose, and said:

"You never know when you will need it!"

(Only a True Hoarder would say that ;))

To solve the problem with having all this lovely felt, 

I bought a book off Amazon....

 Looking forward to making things....

Time for chop chop...

Used up all the Quail eggs we bought Saturday...

Nice healthy stir fry to go with it.

I had a massive reading catch up with the newspapers from the weekend ....

With a little help from..

Back to playing with Kenny tomorrow! 

 

 

Shaking The Tail Feather

After not feeling too well for the last few days.

It was time to shake the tail feather.

First coffee of the day...

The apron goes on..

 I got the slow - cooker out.

Chop chop time.
Beef in Red Wine with melting onions.
Slow cooker was put on medium.
Now to get Kenny out for a quick play.
No room for him in the kitchen...

 Rolled it out and added it to the oven.
While everything was cooking.
A bit of light reading...

 Biscuits were ready..

 Then the main meal was ready to be dished up.

Time to move on with...

Looking forward to some Friday Feeling tomorrow....

 

Shaking All Over

I wasn't quite feeling quite right.

I went back to bed,

Once everyone had left the house.

After a extra hour in bed,

I got up to enjoy something to perk me up..↓

I tidied up the Living room again.

I was feeling cold and had the shakes.

Wore yet another jumper.

Had a hot liquid lunch to try and warm up.

 Time to keep the brain warm...

With me wrapped up,

I did some more Loom flowers and

Watched more House MD.

I did some chop chop...

I made Cajun Spiced Chicken Rice

 That was so nice and filling.

However still feeling so cold.

Soon after,

I went to bed to try and keep warm.

Hubby didn't appreciate my cold hands.

I wonder why not?

Caught up on some reading....

 After a liquid lunch....↓↓↓

 As it is Shakespeare Week,

 Crafting while watching House MD *Wins*

 Now onto Season 6...

Getting the hang of making Flower looms now \o/

 Nice little hot stir fry to end the day with...

The other half is being frozen for next week.

Lamb, herbs, sweet potatoes wedges, chickpeas, cranberries & dip.

I got a lovely lemon recipe to do tomorrow...

Dropping Of The Pan...

Enjoying some company on this Tuesday.

My kids still cleaning their bedrooms.

The 60's pop music went on...

1st coffee of the day

Keeping the kinky black boot on for 50% of the day,

As had terrible pains walking around all day yesterday without it on :( 

Sleeves rolled up...

Chop chop time...

 

Slow roasted Pork, with lemons, Sage and Fennel bulbs, soaking in white wine,in my slow cooker.

The man collected the commode and frame.

It didn't help the  pan of the commode dropped off when he was dragging it out of my back garden...

"They put the wheels on the wrong way round!" he said.

The pan dropped off once more while he dragged the commode down the path. Because he parked too close to the fence, he couldn't get it in the back of the van, 

so van had to moved up a few yards....

 More coffee needed after watching that!

Sorted out all of my magazines.

Read them, I didn't get round too.

While watching more..

One big pile that is being dropped off at my local Charity Shop...

I'm keeping the Good Food magazines.

As there were a few nice recipes to try out..

I have a date with a certain person tomorrow..

 Warm hands needed!
