Happy 2026! 

Let's see what fun I have had so far this year....

1:  Warm Hub.

 

 

 

 2:After I had 3 incidents during December of car drivers not stopping while I was trying to cross the children over. The road crossing service put out a few posts to alert the car drivers to stop!

It carried on into January, one car driver just drove through! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I had a further incident of road rage from a van driver who parked on the pavement on my side and blocked my view. (The traffic lights on the otherside of the road, didn't help).The Bifa men was trying to get past his van and tapped his windmirror. All hell broke lose! 

"One rule for one and one for me!" He shouted at me when I told him he couldn't park. He told me to do one a few times, a man told to not to swear at a lady. (I looked around to see the lady he was talking about!) I walked away from him the end.

He still was there after an hour arguing with the bin men! 

3: Made a few cards...

 4: We had a train and bus journey into Birmingham and back again.We visited a lot of charity shops and got loads of card making items.

 5: Snow visited for a very short time

6: A very early Valentine's and Birthday Present!

7: We ran a Slow Cooking Workshop as part of the Warm Hub.

Someone came in to cook minestrone soup in a Slow Cooker. Everyone had some of it. We held a raffle. The first prize was a new Slow Cooker, and second and third prize were Slow Cooker Recipe Books.

Valentines and My Birthday!

 

Slow, Quick, Quick, Slow.

Welcome to my Tuesday.

I had a nice breakfast in bed with hubby.

It still wasn't quite warm enough.

Not cold enough for thermal knickers just yet.

💋💋💋 everyone when they left.

I had tonight's meal to do.

Fried some mince, onions, garlic and ginger.

They and some vegetables went into the slow cooker  

 Now for a little ride in Sexy Beast.

 

 It was still a bit chilly.
Dr Who Scarf time to come out.

Time for another sing-a-long on the way to work...

It was getting a bit warmer.

The scarf had to come off....

 

 

 

 

 Plenty of fresh air..

Back to singing on the way to see my dad.

Didn't have chance for coffee and chat today.

He wasn't feeling too well.

 Back home for some fruit & nut and coffee↑

Watched a bit more of

Before I went to do my other job.
Came back to dish up the lovely food for everyone.
Even had some left over for my dad for tomorrow. 
It's Bake Off Time..

 Off to bed now...
Hopefully we have a dry Hump tomorrow.. 

Shaking The Tail Feather

After not feeling too well for the last few days.

It was time to shake the tail feather.

First coffee of the day...

The apron goes on..

 I got the slow - cooker out.

Chop chop time.
Beef in Red Wine with melting onions.
Slow cooker was put on medium.
Now to get Kenny out for a quick play.
No room for him in the kitchen...

 Rolled it out and added it to the oven.
While everything was cooking.
A bit of light reading...

 Biscuits were ready..

 Then the main meal was ready to be dished up.

Time to move on with...
