Plenty of Uniform & Cake To Go Around!

Welcome to my August. 
Lots of sunshine, and baking. 
1:The School Uniform Bank carried on for the rest of the month! 
2: Car booty!
A hot air balloon made an appearance 🎈
3: Baking for VJ 80

We raised £209.70 for the Burma Star Memorial
5: I made a few cards. 
6: The infamous Poundstretcher picture keeps appearing on Facebook.
I am the one dressed in red at the bottom of the picture, playing with Henry Hoover.
I worked in Poundstretchers from 1989 -1990. 
7: We visited the grave of hubby's parents.
We laid some flowers for hubby's mum, who celebrated her 85th birthday this month.
Those 6 weeks went quick!

It was hubby's last day off from work.
We were going to make full use of it!
I gave our kids wet 💋💋 before they left the house.
Now for us to leave the house...

 My new earplugs arrived \o/
 I came back from second job with another red face!
 Off out to pick up the present for my co-worker..

 I got more storage boxes for my stuff to go in our bedroom...
  Then off to my other job with some good music...
Back with another red face.
We didn't sleep under our 16 tog duvet, but on top of it.......

On Days Like These

Welcome to my Thursday. 
While I was enjoying my cup of tea,
I received some bad news. 
My friend's grandson passed away yesterday at the tender age of 2 weeks old. :'( :'(
I was looking forward to seeing him and all the family this weekend.
I gave everyone  big 💋💋💋 when everyone left.
I was in a sombre mood when I had my coffee and apple.
I made a Birthday card for my work colleague↓
 
 
 Now for some liquid lunch↓
 Now off to work↓
 
 Now to enjoy a sing a long with The Hollies↓
 Birthdays Time↓
 Eddie Izzard: British actor and comedian(The Avengers) is 57 years old.
Clarence "Buster" Crabbe: American swimmer (Olympic gold 1932) and actor (Tarzan the Fearless, Flash Gordon),would be 111 years old.
(He died aged 75 in 1983) 
 Matt Monro(born Terence Edward Parsons): English singer(Born Free), dies aged 54 in 1985.
Richard Hatch: American actor (Battlestar Galactica), dies at 71 in 2017.

Shoe rationing begins in US (may purchase up to 3 more pairs in 1942) in 1943.
