Plenty of Uniform & Cake To Go Around!

Welcome to my August. 
Lots of sunshine, and baking. 
1:The School Uniform Bank carried on for the rest of the month! 
2: Car booty!
A hot air balloon made an appearance 🎈
3: Baking for VJ 80
4: VJ 80
We raised £209.70 for the Burma Star Memorial
5: I made a few cards. 
6: The infamous Poundstretcher picture keeps appearing on Facebook.
I am the one dressed in red at the bottom of the picture, playing with Henry Hoover.
I worked in Poundstretchers from 1989 -1990. 
7: We visited the grave of hubby's parents.
We laid some flowers for hubby's mum, who celebrated her 85th birthday this month.
Those 6 weeks went quick!

Getting Away From It All!

Lots of sunshine, breaking up for the 6 weeks school holiday, and nice little breakway....🗼

3: Made a Birthday cake for a friend 🎂
4: Last day of the school term.
I had lots of kind words, waves, cards and presents on my final day.
5: 
The School Uniform Bank opened. 
6: We had a nice breakaway to Blackpool 🗼
We had a great time and the weather was lovely!
*We have purchased a plaque with hubby's late mum and dad's name on it with a few words on it, how much they liked Blackpool. The Council is going to add it to one of the benches along the Blackpool Seafront Promenade very soon*
 
Busy next month....

Making The Most Of The Sunshine!

The sunshine came out, and we made full use of it this month.....
1: The Warm Space carried on. Homemade cake, hot drinks and conversation.
2: Younger son spent a few days in Rotterdam.He sent us some lovely photos...
3: Loving the sunshine on my Lollipop job!
4: We did a Easter Stone Hunt for everyone to take part in the Studley. Finding a stone and returning it, you had a choice of a craft item or a chocolate easter egg.
7 wasn't returned :(
5: Car boot time!
6: Easter Warm Space.
After I took the decorations down, everyone was trying to escape!
7: Time for a drink and a good film!
8: Pom poms. 
Making lots for our Pom Pom Tree for VE 80 next month.
9: Sowing of seeds and planting of fruit trees.
10: We celebrated my late Father-in-law's 80th Birthday🎈🎈
