A Little Bit Of Baking ...

Today has been April fool’s Day.
I was nobody’s fool this morning.
The pain in my mouth is still there.
I kept my mind off the pain doing some housework,
And a little bit of baking.

Easter Is Cancelled.

Monday
Adrian dropped kids at school for 8.10am so I carried on making the cheesecake for college for tomorrow night. Its our last cooking lesson so we each on bringing something to eat.Mine is Cheesecake! ent to the school, parked down the hill and walked to school.
One mum spoke to me, the rest of the parents just glared while their children were sent out of the reception.
I picked up mine and off to the car we walked:
There were some lovely views of the snow covered fields.
I got some petrol and the papers, and popped in to see my mum and dad. Both crumbling about the lack of money(I'm in same boat)
We leave at 4pm and get home to start on tea. While they do their maths home made, I start to cook the sausages in onion and garlic, and then add chopped tomatoes and in the oven for 20 minutes.
I  make home made mash, and by 6pm we are sitting down to eat it.While I am out of the room, they both are laughing, then I see the tomato sauce splatted on the ceiling of the dining room.
I shout bed, they go upstairs, get the nightclothes on, after much saying no, I don't read with them and say goodnight...My youngest son comes down with this:
  A little card saying sorry
  Easter might be rescued now....
Now as hubby is away playing snooker sandwiches to be made, dish washer to be unloaded and loaded up.
Perhaps a early night for one?
