Rita Rudner
Good Friday
Welcome to my Friday Feeling 🎈
Hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Out to get the newspaper early in Sexy Beast.
Easy to park then yesterday.
Wished everyone a Happy Easter in the shop.
Still 4 cars parked in my late dad's drive when I went past.
Filled up Sexy Beast with petrol.
Went to get a take away coffee.
Gets back to Sexy Beast only finds a car parked really close to my driver's door...
The whole car park to park in and they have park next to me!
Five minutes later on the way home.
One white van pulls out of a junction straight in front of me...
(Good job I was under 30 mph)
I gave him a good blast of the horn..
He tried to blast his horn at me...
However mine was louder!
Finally back home in one piece!
Now to enjoy the Coffee and nibble.
Quick look in the newspaper as well.
Edwin Starr (born Charles Edwin Hatcher) was an American singer and songwriter. Starr was famous for his Norman Whitfield-produced Motown singles of the 1970s, most notably the number-one hit "War".
Starr was born in Nashville and raised in Ohio, and later lived in Detroit while singing for Ric-Tic and Motown Records. He was backed by the band that would become known as "Black Merda". Hawkins and Veasey of the group played on most of his early hits on the Ric Tic Label. Starr's songs "25 Miles" and "Stop the War Now" were also major successes, in 1969 and 1971 respectively. In the 1970s Starr's base shifted to the United Kingdom, where he continued to produce music, and resided until his death.
He sadly died on this day in 2003 aged 61
