Homemade Nibbles..

I had a message from one of sons about going to the Valentine Disco at school...

 I had a good friend coming round for coffee and chat...

Got the kinky black boot on ready..

 So better start of the day like you have to...

 My friend came...

Yak Yak Yak..

Rest...

Now for a bit of tart...🍴

(Out came the nice plates..)

 Tart was gone..

Now for a bit of nibble...↓↓

 &

more coffee..

 After yakking for over 4 hours, my good friend left.

My new trainers arrived,

 

My left foot is still swollen,

Plus the pain came back at the back of my foot :(. 

Lets now slip it into the foot spa...

 Put mouth battery on charge..

Relaxing with some juicy  court action from Judge Rinder.....

All ready for the Hump Day action tomorrow,

I am going to enjoy ;)

 

 

Strapping The Pinny On Tight!

Welcome to that Monday Feeling..

(Groan..)

I started off with a coffee and smile..:)

 The pinny went on...

Had a quick play with Henry..

Rested the foot,

Now to play with some pastry..

 Rolled it out,

And added it to the tart tin.

After 45 minutes in the oven.

The Leek,Tomato,Goat's cheese tart was done..

(I pan fried the Leeks before adding them to the tart) 

While I was in the mood..

Out came a good book..

Followed by Kenny the Kenwood.

It didn't help I had run out Baking Powder...

I just can't jump into The Sexy Beast and go and get some just yet :(

Googled the problem, and found the answer.

Got on with the baking...

I had the 1970s playing all day..

While grating the lemons....

A sad song came on :'(↓↓

Into the oven they went.

My kids came back from school,

Then turned off to the 1970's I was listening to!!!

Back on that went!

They were ready!

 Lemon flavoured Tray Bake, with double cream and cherry topping..↑↑↑

Now to wrap up my friend's daughter's birthday presents for Thursday..↓↓

 I am having some new footwear tomorrow,

So I can walk about the house in them,

Instead of the kinky black boot...

Just Can't Get Enough....

I was gasping for a cuppa...

 I hobbled downstairs to do one↓

Out for a short ride in the sunshine🌞

Used my voucher for free cake & coffee↓

Waved to my hubby who took the shopping back to the car↓

 Dropped off a Birthday card 🎈

 Got back home to unpack

my reduced items↓

 Had a nibble..

 Time to chop chop for a nice recipe↓

 Just can't get enough of being told how gorgeous I am...💖

 

Shaking It Once More....

After making the most of hubby in the king size bed.

I got up to enjoy the rest of Saturday..

My new rug arrived...

 Now for the first coffee of the day ⛾

While hubby did my dad's shopping.

I caught up with the book!

More coffee needed to help with the little grey cells..↓

The 1970s's pop music tunes were put on..

Writing out recipes for next week...

Came across a good book of recipes..

Some Disco tunes came on my Amazon Echo 🎶

I did a funky chicken dance in my living room,🕺🕺💃💃

with kinky black boot and cane...

As we had the new dance floor come this morning..🕺💃

So got 3 months of 3 music :) :)

While the males of the house went to do their Kick-Boxing lesson.

I caught up on the final disc of Season 2.

 The cottage pie was ready to eat when everyone came back...

 So yummy :)
