Funny Old Hump!

Welcome to my funny Hump of the Week.

I gave everyone a 💋 when everyone left.

I had bills to sort out & a school trip to pay for..£££££££'s

Had a strong coffee to melt away the cobwebs..

 While I am recovering from my accident.

I am going down to half pay next month :(

The council is coming to look at the drain, before they start work on replacing the slabs on my drive....

(Busy day for answering emails and the phone)

I had a friend come round for coffee and chat

I had a lovely belated birthday present..:)

 I wished her good luck on hearing if she gets the job she went for earlier when she departed...

(I gave her the remaining pink buns to take home)

While carrying on reading...

Time for a laugh...

I got a email from my local Labour Party...

"I am eligible to take part in the selection for a chance of being the Labour MP for Redditch." 

(Probably be laughed out of the building!"

Did more chop chop....

Dished up Chilli & Lemongrass Chicken with Rice..

Going to laugh off the Hump!

To start off the Hump with..

Had a date with...↓

Next to chop chop..

 Once all the evening meal was prepared...

Time to rest the foot...

 Lunchtime...

Carried on with Season 4....↓

So wanted to hug Wilson....\o/

 Moving onto....

 

Tea is served...🍽

Lamb, herbs, sweet potatoes wedges, chickpeas, cranberries & dip.

I got a lovely lemon recipe to do tomorrow...

Where did I put my pinny????

Last day of January...

It was three months since I had my accident..

Getting better slowly...

I saw the physio..

Plenty of stretching of the foot...

Couldn't lift my heal of my left foot off the ground....:(

Enjoyed coffee afterwards..

Then early lunch 🍴↓↓

Off to Worcester County Court

To

Resign the  Parental Responsibility Forms

 

Got there early, watched men in black gowns and wigs, talking about their cases....

After 20 minutes...

Done

Out in the sunshine...

Picked up the kids on the way home.

Packed up the single bed..

It's being took away tomorrow.

Good job it can't talk......😶

 

 

Not Using The Warm Hands This Time...

Welcome to my Hump of the Week.

Spent most of the night,

Tossing & Turning in pain :(

(left shoulder pain)

We had to all leave at the same time out of the house.

As I had appointment with the physio.

 More exercises to help with the recovery of the foot...

Still got the boot to wear...

 I now have two walking sticks to get around once I don't need the boot anymore...

 Once I got home,

I had another good friend visit for coffee and chat..⛾

We had a nice salad for lunch.

After 3 and half hours she left,

 Promising to meet up again next week.

I made the most of the time before the kids came back from school...

Wrote more plot lines...

Listened to more Rock 'n' Roll.

(with plenty of singing along)

Before I go to bed tonight...

I have some new exercises to do....

Which doesn't involve my warm hands

or 

my warm hubby's either....:p 

 

 

 

 

 

Out With The Old ,In With The...

Welcome to my Hump of the Week,

It is out with the old...

 And in with the new.....

(new plaster cast time) 

The day started off badly with me being up early, reaching for the pain killers.

The left shoulder really hurting :( 

Then back to bed for another two hours.

Time for the red hat to make appearance!

Once the kids were dropped off at school.

I had to make the grand entrance out of the house, via hopping, funky frame and wheelchair.

Forgot the thermal knickers!!!!

Got the bad leg in alright...

 

Dropped off the perscription first.

Nice view...

Now off to the hospital...

Hopped out of the car into a wheelchair.

Now to wait with foot up on stool..

 

I was seen after an hour.

They cuts off the cast...

I was expecting...↓

What was revealed was:

A non hairy leg!!

 I had a choice of 3 colours...

Red,white or blue...

(You know the colour I chose...)

The new cast was put on.

Gets wheeled back to the car.

I'm trying to get in the car via all means I can

(hop, hop and more hop)

One car driver didn't like having to wait for the empty space I was hopping in...

Gets safely in...

 Gets back home,

Puts the leg up.

Going to enjoy this Hump Day with

 coffee and plenty of rest...

As the Sexy Beast  went into his Winter Service.

Time for a little bit fresh air in the sunshine...

Off to a walk to my dads.

 Now for the walk back home in blue skies..

I got the Sexy Beast back... 

I got to visit somewhere for the third time this week...

Little By Little....

Welcome to my Hump of the Week.

The U turning car driving parent was back,

And nearly lost the back of his car for his trouble....

Made the most of the time in the morning.

Had a nice play with my own Henry for once..

 

 Got my camera out to enjoy the views before I went into the Lion's Den....

Nearly christened my new Lolly Pop Stick,

as a car failed to stop,

My stick was a couple of cms away its windscreen...
