Honest, Just Going For A Look!

If you can't annoy somebody, there's little point in writing - Kingsley Amis
 Welcome to my Sunday 💗
I woke up first, and brought up the brew.
"Wakey,Wakey,"I said to Sleeping Beauty.
Even opened the curtains to let the sun in!
A little bit of cuddle,
Then off downstairs he went to make the breakfast.
I meanwhile, opened all the curtains and windows to let the air in.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Now to leave the house for a short ride.
Pump up the tyres.
Take away coffee.
Now off to see my parents....
I had a chat with Mrs Messenger while she was tending her brother's grave.
I said goodbyes to my parents.
Dropped Sexy Beast back home and went to look around the garden centre....
I found some nice plants.
"I thought you were only looking,"Said hubby after I sent him to get a trolley
for me to put the plants in.
Loaded them up in his car...
Once we got home.
We had lunch first before I stated to repot the plants.
I got through one bag of compost.
The Monkey Puzzle is sharp!
I have some more plants arriving tomorrow...
Let's hope I have enough pots and compost for them!
Put the Meat in the oven.
I filled out the form needed for permission for the loft to be done.
I will pop that into the Town Hall tomorrow.
Helped hubby sort out the Dining Room.
The people who are doing the loft wanted to do this Friday!
Lol
We have to empty the loft first!
(That's going to be fun!)
Now to get yesterday's blog post wrote.
(If I don't it's going to back up again!)
Hubby dished up the tea.
I published my blog post.
Hubby went to sleep on the sofa.
I looked for a wooden garden arch while he was snoring.
Gave up looking....
Quick look into today's newspaper.

Getting A Bit Too Close For Comfort!

If you can keep your head while those about you are losing theirs, have you considered becoming a guillotine operator? -
Don Geddis
Welcome to my Tuesday 💣
Hug and Brew time!
Breakfast.
I got the kids up for school.
Dressed.
Gave everyone a sloppy wet 💋💋💋 before I left.
I left off the big big sunglasses...as it was looking a bit cloudy.
The summer coat went on...
It looks warm, but it's not.
Good job I have a jacket on beneath my Summer coat. Let the fun begin.
I didn't have no cars failing to stop today!
No lambo again :(
Finished in one piece.
Now off home.
Much needed coffee with an apple.
Loaded up my Henry into Sexy Beast.

Cleaned, coffee and chat.
Back home I go.
Light lunch time.
I left early to try and get a parking space.
No where to park near my lollipop spot at all.
Back to parking in the supermarket car park.
I did go in and get some drinks for later.
Gets the summer coat on.
Nice long walk up the road to turn on the lights.
I chats with some of the parents while I waiting to start. People were fighting for car parking spaces.
There were blue skies and dark clouds...
There were no major problems of car drivers not stopping this afternoon...
Surely this can't last???????
I finished in one piece.
My friend came and visited me.
We both walked down to where Sexy Beast was parked.
Said my goodbyes and off I went home.
Much needed coffee with crumpets.
Now out for a 60s singalong...
While on the way to work.
Someone in a grey Honda overtook a Blue Zafria right in front of the Speed Camera.
I followed the Zafria until it turned off.
Guess who I was behind at the traffic light?
The grey Honda who overtook the Blue Zafria and put its foot down!
I gets in to see a nice message aimed at me!
The two vaccum cleaner they gave me to use,
one has not got a PAT testing sticker on it,
The other one PAT testing sticker expired 2019
At least the toilet cleaner has come!
I switched the floor tool on one vaccum and it still wouldn't suck anything up!
So the whole pipe was put in Sexy Beast to be unblocked at home.
Finished on time.
Now for more fun on the way home!
One lorry followed me from the traffic lights, one car has slam his brakes on while coming out of a side road. This lorry didn't like doing 45 m.p.h.
It reminded me a film called Duel!
I went through the Speed Camera at 45 mph.
It was so close to the back of me, I couldn't see his license plate!
It turned off later on.
Later on, I followed a car sticking to the speed limit of 40mph.
It carried on doing 40mph in a 70 limit.
I overtook it, and looked up when I got off the duel carringway and it was following me, cars were overtaking it,as she went down to 20 mph in a 40 mph limit.
I was glad to get home!
Time for something to eat!
Nice full moon tonight.
Quick read of today's newspaper.
Sleep Tea time.
Let's hope for a sunny Hump tomorrow 🐫

Marcelene Cox

I got up, made a brew.
Unloaded and loaded up the dishwasher.
Enjoyed the brew in bed!
Breakfast soon followed.
Dressed.
Now out for some fresh air.
It's getting warmer \o/
We went past the site where the new Lidl is going to be...
I went to see my mum and dad.
The grave behind my parent's grave has now no flowers on it.
All the flowers from last week have gone.
I hope there will be some flowers going on in the next few weeks.
At least the sun is shining!
Hubby nipped into Sainsburys, while I sat in the car.
Back home.
Read the newspapers before lunch.
Good cover on the front of Private Eye magazine↓
Steve Harley (born Stephen Malcolm Ronald Nice) is an English singer and songwriter, best known as frontman of the rock group Cockney Rebel, with whom he still tours, albeit with frequent and significant personnel changes.
He is 70 years old 🎈
Lunchtime.
Hubby and son then was cutting back some branches of a tree.
Belated tea at 3.
Now its time to get my Covid jab.

I sat on the chair marked 2.
Gets called in by my own Doctor, quick chat and has the jab and its done.
I wait in the waiting room for 15 mins.
Then I'm done.
Hubby collects my order from Dunelm.
It didn't help when we pulled up in the car park, a man driving his car, went past us talking on his mobile phone.
On the way out he went, past the Police Station, and still talking on his phone while driving!.
Back home with a sore arm.
Now one of my son's won't be cold at night now...
