Cutting The Loose Ends

I had a busy Saturday.

Two jobs to do.

Even fitted in having my Dougal haircut trimmed

I had a look at the Lollipop spot of the vacant Lollipop job I was interested in.....

 There wasn't no black bollards,no non-slip paving slab or any zig zags like where I do my Lollipopping...

Should I stay or should I go? 

Not Having Much Luck Today!

...Welcome to Friday 13th.

It was time for the thermal knickers to come out...

The snow came in,

Larry loved it...

 Nearly lost my hat and lollipop in the windy and snowy conditions

By the afternoon, it had all gone....

While doing the second part of Job 1.

I had to experience a bad case of Friday Madness.

I was crossing the road to stop the traffic,

When two school girls ran out ahead me into the road.

"Get back on the pavement" I bellowed at them.

They were two seconds away from being hit by a bus.....

Once I finished,

I got down and kissed the pavement....

Itchy Left Hand Means Trouble...

There is a forecast of some light snow later..

I'm ready for it and so is Larry.

Made homemade Lasagna for tea.

A few days ago my left hand was itching...

(That normally means - pay out on Larry or something...)

Well it died on us while we were watching "The Simpsons".

We are using our telly from our bedroom.

Now what we were going to do in our bedroom without the telly????

It Wasn't Just The Beans....

Woke up to find Wild Windy Wednesday!

Trying to keep hold off my hat and lollipop!

I had to wait in for the Plumber to add a part to my 11 year old boiler.

So back to writing the new book...

My Dougal hairstyle is growing at a faster rate.

So, off to the hairdressers for a fringe cut this weekend...✂

(No coconut style cut ,number 1.

Just yet, as it far too cold for that!)

We are supposed to be having some snow at about the same time I do Job 1 in the afternoon....tomorrow

Fun in the snow......Not!

I hope today was going to be alot better.

For part one of Job 1

I nearly took a windscreen of green car that failed to stop..

Collected my new glasses.

 Saved some money by having teacake and coffee at  home.

I watching a really interesting film at my dad's this afternoon..↓

My dad swore he went to the cinema to watch it when it first came out....

I pointed out, he was only 12 months old when it was released.

(sound of a back pedal coming up)

He meant the Tony Curtis 1952 film:↓

Yesterday I saw the actor, 

Robert Strauss in the film:↓

I made the observation that he appeared in a really good film I had watched at my dad's countless of times.....↓

My dad just rolled his eyes.....

Banging Of The Gums Again

After a hard night of hot,sweaty passion,

I was ready for Monday.

The first part of Job 1,

carried on from Friday.

Cars going under my lollipop stick,

And going around it,

 to avoid stopping.

 It was chaos, bedlam with a bit of Monday Madness thrown in.

Finished in one piece!

Now for coffee....

2rd part of Job 1.

Heavy rain, and they had to come out again.

Monday Madness carried on.

One parent of a blue Zafria drives and parks on the Zig Zags in front of me. 

Then as I was in the middle of the road crossing the kids over,

She started to rev her engine very loudly.

I made her wait a bit longer for that!!

Gets back on the pavement, her gums are banging loudly.

My saying thank you and putting my hand up to her for stopping.

Went down like a lead balloon.

Roll on tomorrow for more fun....

 

 

Got To Keep It Up...

Made the most of this Sunday,

Lie in, quick play with the gear stick and a cup of tea.

Took Larry out for a quick ride.

Done food shopping, and picked up a new TV for James

Off to drop some items at our local tip

Back on with writing book 7...

I heard Peter Sarstedt had died :(

He has two famous brothers:

 Richard Sarstedt (Eden Kane)

 Clive  Sarstedt (Robin Sarstedt)
