Magic Mystery Tour....

If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it - J.P.Morgan

Welcome to my Sunday 🚫
We wakes up early,
As we are off to the Creative Craft Show at the NEC.
Before anything else...
It's Heardle time....
 Son's answers↓
Time for breakfast with brew.
Dressed.
Now for a little ride in Sexy Beast.
Going on the motorway was fun...
Younger son's Birthday request was read out on the radio for Wednesday.
They played a good Wings song for him↓
Parks in the car park.
Now off to look around the show
I had to go through a metal detector...
I did my normal twirl through it.
Made the Security men laugh.
Now onto the show...
I got chatting to a nice stall holder↓
I bought some things off her.
I asked her how much it was a stall for the 4 days?
"£600, and she hasn't broke even yet!"
I suggested to her to go on "Dragon's Den".
She would think about it.
This time the Creative Craft was really small.
Walked around in half an hour.
Time for coffee..
They didn't have no WHOLE milk.
So it was either SOYA or SEMI-SKIMMED milk.
I chose the Soya....
I could taste the soya milk and not the coffee!
We walked around once more.
Met my nice Scottish lady who only came down to sell off some bits of material.
It was nice to have a catch-up.
Bought some lovely material.
It was slowly starting to get busy.
We walked back to Sexy Beast.
Someone in front was wearing a nice dress,
Going to look for that dress later when I get home...
This is where the fun starts...
Starts on the way home,
Hubby lost his bearings on the roundabout to the motorway, and ended up going the wrong way!
No roadsigns on the motorway.
We had to get off the next Services.
One large strong coffee and a nibble.
Back on the motorway.
Gets off at Junction 3, and back on the otherside of the motorway.
It didn't help the hubby left it late for me to change lanes to get back onto the right motorway home!
Finally got off the motorway!
Nipped into Morrisons to get some bits.
More fun I had!
I bought some reduced cake items...
None of the barcodes would work.
I had to type in 7 different barcodes.
Then the red light came on!!!
The assistant turned off the light.
Now to get back to Sexy Beast.
Finally back home!
Unpacks the goodies from what I bought from the Craft Show.
Hubby makes a cup of brew.
Much needed cup of brew needed.
I get on with writing two blog posts.
Fry up some chicken, with garlic, mushroom, and tomatoes with added rice.
It was so nice, I didn't get to take a photo of it.
Still couldn't get this weekend's i newspaper.

No Wet Sloppy Ones For A While!

Give a pint of blood? That's very nearly an armful - Tony Hancock
Welcome to my Thursday 💀
I didn't have a good night's sleep at all.
Neither did hubby on that uncomfortable camping bed.
Younger son is still feeling rough.
I had brew with breakfast.
(No hugs or slowly wet ones allowed)
At least the sun has come out to play!
I was so drained of energy,I went back to sleep for an hour and half.
One son was sent home as he wasn't feeling very well. We shall see if he perks up this afternoon.
I got up
(As I had a burst of energy!)
Used all the parsnips, leeks, mushrooms, sweet potatoes for today's soup.
Next used up the mince beef that was in the freezer, vegetables, and potatoes for the cottage pie for tonight.
I unloaded and loaded up the dishwasher.
Once the cottage pies were done, they were put in the oven for later.
The Councillor is trying to get reelected in May put a flyer through my door.
Then a knock at the door by my Postman.
He tried to hand me my packets.
I told him to just put them on the floor.
"Why?" He asked.
"Because I tested postive for Covid yesterday!"
He soon put them down and left.
The 4 packets were our PCR tests.
Now for some nice soup.
Afterwards I had a pain over my eyes,
So bad I couldn't open my eyes.
I spoke to my hubby.
Afterwards, I conked out for 3 and and half hours sleep.
Woke up with red runny eyes.
Put the oven on to cook up the Cottage Pies.
Took another headache pill as I had a thumping headache.
Couldn't hug or give hubby a sloppy wet one when he came home :(
(He is wearing a facemask in the house)
Tea is served.
Time to watch the second series of:
Q looks so sexy!
We are going to bingewatch two more episodes tomorrow night.
We all did our PCR tests, so hubby can pop them into the pillar box tomorrow before work.
Next we watched
Dragon's Den.
Then to The Apprentice's interviews.
Claude is back!
Quick look into today's newspaper.

Too Much Finger!

Every moment is a golden one for him who has the vision to recognise it as such - Henry Miller
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Nice warm hug to start the hump with.
Brew with Breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
As well as layers!
No Frost last night,
So no uncovering of Sexy Beast.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋before I left.
I still had 2 winter hats and the big big gloves on.
Walked up and waited to turn on my lights.
I turned them on,
Now ready to roll 🍭
First Limbo Dancer of the the morning was only going 10 m.p.h but went right under my stick!
The Silver BMW was next, he wagged his finger at me as he went under my stick.
The third Limbo dancer, the car driver attempted to stop, decided no too, and carried on under the stick!
Cars were braking the last minute!
In the final 15 minutes of my shift, I was waiting to cross anyone over, when a red Toyota with 2  men aged 20+ sat in there.
The driver flicked me his third finger at me when he drove past!
"What have I done to deserve this?"
Lucky for him, I remembered his license plate number!
After I finished in one piece.
I picked up the newspaper and my neighbour's magazine.
Got home.
I put on the coffee machine.
I phoned up my new boss to report and give her the license plate number. She will pass it onto the Police.
She had 2 reports of angry car drivers getting out of their car verbal abusing the Lollipop men/woman!
On the phone for 45 minutes.
I asked my kids would they get out of their cars and have a word at me....while doing my lollipop job.
"No way" came their reply
I phoned hubby up to tell him what happened earlier.
5 minutes on the phone.
Phoned my friend to tell he what happened.
45 minutes on the phone.
Coffee time.
I ran out of time to write my blog post from yesterday.
Now to enjoy some soup!
Mmmmm
The sun is back out....
Time to wear the big big sunglasses..
Time for part two.
Still had two winter hats and gloves on.
Turned on my lights.
Had a little rabbit with my friends.
I said Goodbye to them when I started.
Low lying sun was a bit of a problem.
I told a few parents about the finger problem from this morning.
They couldn't believe it!
Still had a couple of car failing to stop,
BOING!
Just as I finished, my friend appeared again with his dog.
Walks back to the car for more RABBIT.
Once finishing yakking, time for me to go home.
I covered up Sexy Beast, as there is another frost due tonight.
Then time to peel some potatoes and get the tea on the go.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet 💋 when he came home.
They had sausages,mash,and peas.
I had the veggie option.
Yum!
Quick look into the newspaper.
At least I shop at Waitrose sometimes!
