Red Cross Back On The Front Door

Unless you're served in a frosted glass, never come within four feet of my lips - Karen Walker, Will and Grace
Welcome to the house who front door is painted with the red cross ❌
We did the Heardles;
Heardle 60s was:
My answers:
Time to have breakfast with brew.
Dressed.
Hubby stopped in bed as he looked green and didn't have the energy to get up!
Out the door I went...
I got the newspaper.
On goes the winter coat, and gloves.
Now to go to work...🍭
Oh dear here we go again.
Two cars, one after each other done the Limbo.
Few minutes later, it happened again!
Lots of BOINGs given out as well.
Lots of car drivers were testing their car brakes at the last minute as well!
I was glad to have finished in one piece.
I went down to the local Co-op to get some bits we needed.
Back home to see how the patient was doing.
On goes the coffee machine.
Washing machine goes on.
Dish washer emptied, and loaded up.
All the recycling emptied.
(Recycling bins are being emptied this week,
Might need a 4th one as all three are full!)
Coffee time
I got the tea ready and put in the oven for later.
All my nice earrings arrived!
Hubby was still in bed with no energy.
I bought him the old favourite to help him get his energy levels.
Light lunch time.
Hubby had his soup upstairs.
Now to go out for the afternoon fun!
I put on the winter coat.
Turned on my lights.
Sat back in Sexy Beast.
My friends arrived for a quick rabbit...
Then it was time to say goodbye.
Now for some fun!
A parent I hadn't seen for a couple of day turned up.
"I thought you had left the country?"I asked.
"I wish I had, working from home, and it's cold, much warmer in the office."
"You could put a blanket around yourself to keep warm!"I responded.
One grandparent I talk to has gone to Wales for a week's holiday. It turning out to be one of those holidays:
One Restaurant has burned down.
The Pub is closed to due to building work.
The Granddad has scratched the car on something.
As rain is coming in on Friday, they are coming back early!
I had to give out some BOINGs as well.
One Driving Instructor driving a Electric Car failed to stop, while I was in the middle of the road! Good job the girl I was crossing over, got to the pavement in time.
One of the parents told me to get hubby tested for Covid.
(It's only 5 months since he had it last time)
Finished in one piece.
Back home.
Hubby was still in bed.
Put the oven on for the tea.
Now to try to update the blog.
Ex-plum phones up wanting to make arrangement outside the CMS.
When he said,"As much as I can afford to pay you!"
The bell in my head started to ring....
He started to shout at me when I said no to the arrangement.
Stating back to 2018, when he only paid child maintenance for 4 months and then paid £1 in June.
"You are trying to screw me over!"He screamed at me.
I shouted back,"No, you are trying to screw me!"
Then I slammed the phone down.
He has only got to pay for another 12 months, and that's done.He can then sit in his counting room and count his pennies.....
We all took a Covid Test.
Mine was negative.
Hubbys

No Wet Sloppy Ones For A While!

Give a pint of blood? That's very nearly an armful - Tony Hancock
Welcome to my Thursday 💀
I didn't have a good night's sleep at all.
Neither did hubby on that uncomfortable camping bed.
Younger son is still feeling rough.
I had brew with breakfast.
(No hugs or slowly wet ones allowed)
At least the sun has come out to play!
I was so drained of energy,I went back to sleep for an hour and half.
One son was sent home as he wasn't feeling very well. We shall see if he perks up this afternoon.
I got up
(As I had a burst of energy!)
Used all the parsnips, leeks, mushrooms, sweet potatoes for today's soup.
Next used up the mince beef that was in the freezer, vegetables, and potatoes for the cottage pie for tonight.
I unloaded and loaded up the dishwasher.
Once the cottage pies were done, they were put in the oven for later.
The Councillor is trying to get reelected in May put a flyer through my door.
Then a knock at the door by my Postman.
He tried to hand me my packets.
I told him to just put them on the floor.
"Why?" He asked.
"Because I tested postive for Covid yesterday!"
He soon put them down and left.
The 4 packets were our PCR tests.
Now for some nice soup.
Afterwards I had a pain over my eyes,
So bad I couldn't open my eyes.
I spoke to my hubby.
Afterwards, I conked out for 3 and and half hours sleep.
Woke up with red runny eyes.
Put the oven on to cook up the Cottage Pies.
Took another headache pill as I had a thumping headache.
Couldn't hug or give hubby a sloppy wet one when he came home :(
(He is wearing a facemask in the house)
Tea is served.
Time to watch the second series of:
Q looks so sexy!
We are going to bingewatch two more episodes tomorrow night.
We all did our PCR tests, so hubby can pop them into the pillar box tomorrow before work.
Next we watched
Dragon's Den.
Then to The Apprentice's interviews.
Claude is back!

Suffering From The Dreaded C.....

I have a perfect cure for a sore throat - cut it - Alfred Hitchcock
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐪
Warm hug to start the Hump with.
Had brew with breakfast.
Got the thermal vest on.
Dressed.
All ready to leave,
When I collapsed on the bed with no energy and feeling crap....with sore throat and blocked up nose.
I phoned my Lollipop boss to say I won't be on duty today.
I took a Covid-19 test, and went straight back to sleep on top of the bed.
My younger son was also feeling terrible and looked terrible. He also took a test.
An hour after I took the test,
My results were confirmed.
I took a headache pill as I had a thumping headache.
Then I fell into another deep sleep until dinnertime.
When I woke, I needed something to eat and drink.
Finished off the batch of soup.
I will have to make some more tomorrow.
Spoke to hubby afterwards.
Then to write yesterday's blog post.
Tea at 3.
I ordered 4 PCR tests for everyone here.
They should come tomorrow.
Good old Vic, helping me with the blocked nose and sore throat.
Doesn't help my eyes keep running!
I couldn't give hubby a sloppy wet one or a hug, as he is wearing a facemask in the house now.
He is sleeping on the camp bed until I recover.
He bought something for tea on the way home.
Hunter's Chicken with Sweet Potato Fries.
Yum!
