Trying To Pull!

I still woke up early to listen to the "Sounds of the 60's". 

 We had breakfast after it finished.

We had to leave the house early to carry on with some shopping in town↓

 

 I got a new watch battery from the market.

Then off to Poundland.

I got some nice DVDS from HMV↓

 While hubby did my dad's shopping,

I messed about with some tools...

 

 

Now to try and put the wool through the holes...
Even with the new watch battery,

The watch isn't working properly.

 I looked at the newspaper for Birthdays:

 Maurice Gibb and Robin Gibb: Singers (Bee Gees).

 (Maurice  died aged 53 in 2003)
(Robin died aged  aged 62 in 2012) 

 Richard "Ricky" Ross: Scottish rock vocalist (Deacon Blue) is 61 years old.

Joe Strummer: British lead singer of the punk band "The Clash" (Rock the Casbah), dies at the age 50 in 2002

 "The Graduate": American comedy-drama film directed by Mike Nichols, starring Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft, is released (Best Director 1968) in 1967.

We watched various television programmes....

Time for breakfast in bed..↓

I gave everyone a big 💋💋💋 when everyone left....

I meanwhile had some catching up of the housework to do... 

Once I had a light lunch and coffee...

It was time for the final day at work...

 While I waited to go in,

I checked out the Birthdays..

Jane Fonda:American Actress (Klute, 9 to 5 )

is 81 years old.

Samuel L.Jackson:American actor (Pulp Fiction, Iron Man) is 70 years old.

F.Scott Fitzgerald: American writer, died aged 44 in 1940.

Karl Denver:Scottish singer, died aged 67 in 1998.

  Lockerbie disaster: Pan Am Flight 103 destroyed mid air by a terrorist bomb killing all 258 on board over Scotland in 1988.

I go into work for my last day...

 

 

 

 

 I enjoyed my last day...

Gets back home to decide whether or not to go to my other job's Christmas Drinks

(As I got invited at the last minute by email)

 I went off to the pub.

I missed out on the meal,

as I wasn't there to be asked what I wanted.

 I had my  normal soft drink↑

I got on with my boss's dad.

He was enjoying his pint!

 We were asked to go onto another pub.

I picked up my hubby.

He enjoyed a few pints..↓

 I meanwhile enjoyed some more Lemonade↓

 We enjoyed a nice meal too↓

I said goodbye to my new friend.

I was glad to get home...

The mouth battery needed recharging...

Too much Friday Feeling!  🍾🍾🍾🍾

 

Sunday Boost!

I woke up far too early...

Dish washer was put on, 

Quick play with hubby,

Then back to sleep...

Later on the tea came out...↓

 The big sunglasses came out↓

Now for a little ride to...↓↓

 We had a visit from a Fire Engine...

 Nice tables and chairs for the garden..

 After doing the food shopping...

Time for a Boost!

 After two hours of messing about,

trying to put the gate up....

We did it!

 Off to see my late mum...

After long conversation,

We came home to clouds...

There was not a decent stuff to watch on telly.

Out came the boxset again...

I was thinking about playing with Kenny tomorrow.As he has been whimpering non stop since Kane arrived...

It might stop my baking hand from itching too!
