Time For The Rabbit To Come Out!

Brew with warm hug.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
It was a lot warmer than it has been.
All the curtains were opened followed by the windows.
Now out for a little ride.
Deliver some cake and get feedback from last night's interview.
New facemask to wear!
Gets newspaper, see Joe and Pete.
Gave them the cake.
Back home for a coffee.
We has soup for lunch.
Hubby wrote out our shopping list.
Our youngest son went and collected next door's shopping list.
While they were out shopping.
I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Done Jukebox on my Twitter. 
Hubby and son came back.
In our local Morrisons, some people were not wearing masks, two teenagers were snogging down one aisle!
Unpacked the shopping.
Now for sausages and mash!
Hubby had bought a new film for us to watch.
Good film :)
Afterwards I slipped into something a lot warmer!

Scott Walker (born Noel Scott Engel) was an American-born British singer-songwriter, composer and record producer. Walker was known for his baritone voice and an unorthodox career path which took him from 1960s teen pop icon to 21st-century avant-garde musician. Walker's success was largely in the United Kingdom, where his first four solo albums reached the top ten. He lived in the UK from 1965 and became a UK citizen in 1970.
He would have been 78 years old ๐ŸŽˆ
He died aged 76 in 2019.


Crystal Gayle (born Brenda Gail Webb) is an American country music singer and songwriter. She is best known for her 1977 crossover hit, "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue." Initially, Gayle's management and record label was the same as that of her oldest sister, Loretta Lynn.
She is 70 years old ๐ŸŽˆ

David  Harman, known professionally as Dave Dee  was an English singer-songwriter, musician, A&R manager, fundraiser and businessman. He was the frontman for the 1960s pop band Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich.
He died on this day in 2009 aged 67.
Now for some Sleep Tea.

A very quick brew and hug↓
 Quick breakfast.
We took our rain macs as rain was due↓
 First stop was Waitrose
I wore the facemask↓
Lots of looks......

Off to my old workplace to send my Amazon parcel back↓
 Off to Halfords to get some new windscreen wipers↓
 The new wipers fitted↓
  Back home to unload the shopping.
 Coffee↓
 Early lunch↓
 I find out that is a sale of wool going on near by....
Time to go out and find it...↓
 We find it.
We had to queue outside to get in.
Those dark clouds don't look nice↓
 Once in, time to put all that lovely wool in my basket....
Bargain!
I bumped into a good friend...
Just getting into a good yak,
When the heavens opened...
Mad dash to the car....
 
Wet t-shirt time!
Then off to the Farm Shop↓
2 more Lavender plants for the garden↓
 Sunshine is back↓
 Loads of lovely wool↓
 I made my hubby a nice face mask↓
 I got my neighbour's shopping list and ours.
Off out again↓
 Lidl time↓
 Comes back to unpack the shopping.
Early Birthday present↓
We watch the last 3 episodes of Hill Street Blues :'(
We have a good boxset arriving in the next few days....

Escaping To The Sofa

Father's Day
It's going to be a Father's kind of day!
Hubby got his card off our kids...
 
Now for hug and brew↓
 Followed by breakfast.
Everyone gets up, and dressed.
Out of the house↓  
 Off to see my dad with his balloon๐ŸŽˆ
 Then off to see my Father- in- Law....
The sun was out, 
Then the clouds came along...
 
 Hubby with his dad↓
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Off to look at the Band Stand↓
 We dropped off hubby's dad off at home.
The clouds were gathering above the house when we got home↓
 Nice light lunch outside↓
 
 Until it started to rain.
Back in the house we go.
My youngest son had baked a Cherry Cake for his science project for school↓
 The cherries were off our cherry tree in the garden.
Snooze time...
Followed by 
then 
Top of the Pops from 1989.
Nice steak tea↓
 It's a good job we can fast forward some songs from 1989.
Some are just crap....
Black Box was forwarded as it's getting on my nerves...
At least Jive Bunny is back at number 1 again↓
We have 1 more week to catch up with tomorrow.
