Time For The Rabbit To Come Out!

You don't stop laughing because you grow old.You grow old because you stop laughing - Michael Pritchard
 Welcome to my Saturday πŸ’œ
Brew with warm hug.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
It was a lot warmer than it has been.
All the curtains were opened followed by the windows.
Now out for a little ride.
Deliver some cake and get feedback from last night's interview.
New facemask to wear!
Gets newspaper, see Joe and Pete.
Gave them the cake.
Back home for a coffee.
We has soup for lunch.
Hubby wrote out our shopping list.
Our youngest son went and collected next door's shopping list.
While they were out shopping.
I wrote yesterday's blog post.
Done Jukebox on my Twitter.
Hubby and son came back.
In our local Morrisons, some people were not wearing masks, two teenagers were snogging down one aisle!
Unpacked the shopping.
Now for sausages and mash!
Hubby had bought a new film for us to watch.
Good film :)
Afterwards I slipped into something a lot warmer!
Quick look into today's newspaper.
Scott Walker (born Noel Scott Engel) was an American-born British singer-songwriter, composer and record producer. Walker was known for his baritone voice and an unorthodox career path which took him from 1960s teen pop icon to 21st-century avant-garde musician. Walker's success was largely in the United Kingdom, where his first four solo albums reached the top ten. He lived in the UK from 1965 and became a UK citizen in 1970.
He would have been 78 years old 🎈
He died aged 76 in 2019.

Crystal Gayle (born Brenda Gail Webb) is an American country music singer and songwriter. She is best known for her 1977 crossover hit, "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue." Initially, Gayle's management and record label was the same as that of her oldest sister, Loretta Lynn.
She is 70 years old 🎈

David  Harman, known professionally as Dave Dee  was an English singer-songwriter, musician, A&R manager, fundraiser and businessman. He was the frontman for the 1960s pop band Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich.
He died on this day in 2009 aged 67.
Now for some Sleep Tea.
Off to bed with the rabbit!

You Play It & I Sing It!

There is no shortage of good days.It is good lives that are hard to come by - Annie Dillard
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
I covered up Sexy Beast last night...
I had a lovely hug and cup of tea↓
 The thermals were put on.
I gave everyone their sloppy πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹
At least it's dry when I got outside↓

I got down to my lollipop 🍭 job.
Today's tree picture↓
I had quite a good day.
Only two car drivers failed to stop!
It's still cold↓

I cooked the meatballs ready for tonight's tea.
Coffee and light lunch↓
 The sun is now out!
 Big big sunglasses timeπŸ•Ά
 Time for some singing....
I had a quick look at the newspaper↓
Tom Selleck is an American actor, film producer, and California Army National Guard veteran. He is 75 years old 🎈
Roddy Frame  is a Scottish singer-songwriter and musician. He is 56 years old 🎈
I looked across the fields of fun in the sunshine↓

A piano was moved into the Dining Hall.
I replied:
"All we need now is Barry Manilow to play on it....!"
Tumbleweed moment↓
 Moving on→
I had a nice red face when I left.
Speaking of Barry Manilow...
I did a nice sing-a-long on the way home with...↓
 Back home↓
I had a coffee and nibble.
Before heading back out to do final Lollipop job of the day.
I actually found the black Range Rover,
that I had the fun with yesterday.
One parent offered to get me a drink from the shop. I thanked him for his offer, but turned it down.
I finished in one piece.
I said goodbye to my friend and his dog.
Back home with yet more singing↓
 Back home↓
I get changed.
Off to the Happy Place Of Work.
I did my bit.
Back home..
Time to dish it up...

Meatballs in tomato sauce with Mozzarella cheese.
Linguine was added.
All ate up!
Now to go down to the last job of the day with some good music↓
Back to take off those warm rollers...
I'm ready to sort hubby's hump out with my warm hands...

Behind The Painted Smile....

Silence is more musical than any song - Christina Rossetti
I had a very upsetting and stressful day...
(Could it any worst???)
I enjoyed my cup of tea and hug...
  I blew my hubby a πŸ’‹
&
Gave my kids πŸ’‹πŸ’‹
Now off out in the dark↓

At least it reminded dry for my lollipop job!
I finished in one piece..
Few cars decided not to stop while I had my lollipop stick up in the air.
Still no sign of reaching double figures↓

I had a coffee & nibble when I got back
Followed by pie for light lunch↓
Just before I left,
We had a message from the Carers.
They had called an ambulance for my dad,
as he looked and felt dreadful.
My dad was refusing to go in the ambulance.
My younger brother told him to go to hospital as he won't last much longer.
My brother asked me to swing around to our dad's house before I go off to my job.
I however knew the reason why he wanted me to go round,
I would end up in hospital with our dad for 6 hours while he would carry on with his day!
I declined, I do go past and saw the ambulance in the drive....
I needed some postive tunes to keep my spirits up...↓
I had a quick peek in the newspaper↓
Lee Van Cleef, American actor (For a Few Dollars More, Escape from NY),would have been 95 years old 🎈
He died aged 64 in 1989.
Scott Walker [Noel Scott Engel], American-born British singer-songwriter and composer (The Walker Brothers), would have been 77 years old 🎈
He died aged 76 in 2019.
Crystal Gayle, American country singer (Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue), is 69 years old 🎈
Paolo Nutini, Scottish singer & songwriter, is 33 years old 🎈
Dave Dee, British musician (Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich), dies of cancer at 67 in 2009

I looked across the fields of fun↓

While I was finishing up my job,
My younger brother kept texting me to say dad hasn't had gone left to live....
(He was finding reasons to live the hospital)
I left with a red face.
More singing to do...↓
My hubby was having the same texts I was having from my brother!
My dad was suffering from low blood pressure, infection and sepsis.
I enjoyed  quick coffee↓
I had to keep it together.
I went down to do my lollipop job.
My boss turned up with a new name badge for me to wear...
She saw how bad the car drivers were.
I stopped both sides of the road,
One woman driver didn't fancy waiting for me to cross the kids over, put her foot down and nearly took off my arm holding the lollipop stick!
Once I finished,
I tried on my new lumo coat...
Guess what????
It says it was two times as big as the coat I was wearing....
It turns out...
It was two sizes smaller than the coat I was wearing!!!
I couldn't do the top buttons up
Or
The two buttons at the bottom!
Off it goes....
It's being sent back!
I said goodbye to my boss.
Back home to get changed.
Off to the Happy Place Of Work..
Once I finished late from being in the factory,
everyone had left....
(I hope they do this tomorrow as I had loads to do on Friday!)
Hubby done us a nice steak tea.
Hubby and younger son went off to see my dad..for 20 minutes.
When he came back, my dad looked terrible, and was turning yellow.
I went down to do my final job with lots of singing and crying...

My younger brother was trying to pester me.
He first trying to phone me at home.
(I had left for work)
Then he tried me at work..
(I can't get no signel)
He wanted to come around after work.
I was in no fit state to talk to him,
I told him to leave it until the weekend.
I tried out the hot water by having a hot shower when I got back...
Going to have red panta eyes tomorrow due to all the crying I had been doing...
(At least my dad is hospital being looked after)
At least the Friday Feeling is back tomorrow🎈
