Happy 2023!

New Year’s resolution: to tolerate fools more gladly, provided this does not encourage them to take up more of my time.” —James Agate
Happy New Year!
After going to bed early, and missing the chimes of Big Ben. Onto You Tube to watch the new year coming in....↓
Now to start the New Year with a bit of Heardle.

We have white rack from hubby's late dad's house to replace a old shoe rack which has seen better days.
Shoes that don't fit was put in a bag to to the shoe bank.
The old shoe rack is off to the tip tomorrow!
The Dragon that the late neighbour's son gave me on Christmas Day is now guarding the front door!
That was done,
Liquid lunch time.
Back to more tidying up.
Put all my teddies from the film:
"The Secret Life Of Pets" together.
Moved the living room around a bit more.
Now to get the tea on the go...
Quick look into this weekend's newspaper.

*Christmas Decs and Christmas Tree are up!
Nice sequinned outfit!
Nice skirt!
I picks up my two new pair of glasses.
Coffee time!
Back home.
We needed to pick up the bags for the food shopping.
Off to shop at Bromsgrove Lidl's.
There was a massive queue at the traffic lights.
We changed course, parked up and looked around the Charity Shops instead.
Anyone looking for a House boxset?
Bought something to use at night...
(It lights up and uses batteries)
We had 4 minutes left to get back to the car.
We decided to try out the new Lidl store in Redditch.
Back home.
We ate the remaining tea that was left from last night.
Tea at 3
Now to do the food shopping...
As we coming out, there is a red 21 plate car all smashed up at the front.
"Look at that state of that car?" I said to my hubby.
A woman was behind me, replied to me:
"Never let your boyfriend use your car, he is paying for excess to put it right!"
Next stop, we nipped into Morrisons.
Christmas ideas?
A good Private Eye front cover↓
Back home.
As hubby is unpacking the shopping.
I start on the tea....
While it is cooking in the oven.
