That's What I Like A Good.....

Don't look at me in that tone of voice - Dorothy Parker
 Welcome to October! 🌊
After having a early night, I was up to hear
"The Sounds of the 60s" from the beginning.
I made the breakfast and left hubby's in the kitchen.

I need to get some bits from Sainsburys...
Private Eye's front cover↑
I got some flowers for my parents.
Now to say hi to them.
Back home.
Coffee machine goes on.
Unpacks the shopping.
Washing goes on the line.
Now for that coffee!
Hubby is still feeling rough from Covid.
So is older son who is suffering from it as well!
I am carrying on painting the front of the house tomorrow morning as it is still sunny!
Light lunch time.
Then I write yesterday's blog post.
Once that was done...
Let's open the cooking book..

Hot Under The Collar!

If at first you don't succeed, reload and try again - Scott Adams
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Nice hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Looked out of the window.
Rain!
Those sexy lumo trousers will have to be worn....
Wakes up one son for school.
I give out lots of sloppy wet 💋💋💋
Winter coat gets put on.
And boots...
Tree shot.
It is still raining when I start.
Some cars were testing out how good their brakes were in the rain, when I stuck my lollipop stick out in front of their path!
No lambo today....
It stopped raining half way through my shift.
I was glad to let the zip down, as I was getting quite hot under the collar.
Finished in one piece.
Back home to make cake....Birthday cake...
Kenny comes  out for a little play..
Strong coffee time!
Once the cakes when in the oven.
Time for some strong coffee........
Get's the cakes out of the oven to cool down.
Light lunchtime.
It forecasted rain this afternoon.
It was too warm to wear those lumo trousers again.
I put on my winter coat just in case it does rain.
I put on my lights, chatted with my friend who appeared without his dog. I had a good yak for 10 minutes. Said goodbye to him, and chattered to another friend just before I started my afternoon shift.
Three cars in one go failed to stop when I started. Going to go BONG BONG on a car roof if they keep failing to stop!
No sign of rain, so the zip went down a bit further but used the velcro to keep the coat done up!
Some parents were crossing further up the road, and not using me!
Great!
Glad to take off the winter coat when I finished in one piece!
Back home to finish the cake!
Cup of brew time...
One chocolate collar was added to the cake.
Now onto tea...
Nando's extra hot sauce added to it
Next chocolate collar was added to it...
Now for some music to get me in the mood...
The balloons were pumped up...
Now to add them to the garden...
Cake is done too.
Hubby returned from visiting his dad.
Ran out of Sleep Tea......
Good dose of lavender pillow spray will be needed now!
It's Birthday Time tomorrow 🎈
