Out Comes The Marigolds!

At my age, flowers scare me - George Burns
Welcome to my Tuesday Madness...😑
The sun is coming up....just!
Going to sort out my late Father's in law's house out today.
Dressed.
Quick coffee before we left.
Now out we go...
We get there about 10.30am.
OMG.
The kitchen is a utter mess, and don't get me started on the bathroom!
We are on the search for the box that contained the will and funeral plan.
Found a nice picture of the younger Father-in-law.
We had a chat with the next door neighbour.
The other brother had been down on Sunday and took the following from the house:
2 week old microwave.
Tassimo Coffee Machine.
Small Fridge.
The Tablet, my hubby bought for his dad.
Plus hubby's dad's phone was missing.
We were hungry.
Off to get something to eat..
Brinton's Park.
After the late lunch, we went up town to get some cleaning supplies.
Nipped into a Charity Shop and got some bargains as normal!
Back to the house.
Out came the marigolds...
Cleaned the kitchen and the bathroom.
Two days later, my Father-in-law died.
I also found a list of Christmas presents we had.
My two kids had £10 each.
At least the clock he bought me still works!
Hubby didn't have brandy in the end,
He had rum, and who used that for her own needs???
Still couldn't find the box containing his will...
At least we left the house nice and tidy!
Now back home...
We nipped into Waitrose to get some quick tea.
Once home, we needed the tea!
Just sorts out my Sleep Tea,
And a jar of marmalade drops out of the kitchen cupboard and nearly hits me!
Now to look into today's newspaper.

Having To Find A Name!

Welcome to my Thursday...
I dropped another sick note into Job 3.
Showed off the patch work quilt scar on the back of my left foot...😄
The sun was out again..
Those big big sunglasses has to come again

I had a early lunch.
Then for a walk over to my dad's in the sunshine.
(exercising the achillis tendon)
My dad hasn't got a Henry.
He has got Dave the Dyson
I had to play with him instead
After hoovering the hall, living room, and dining room.I put Dave back.
My dad pointed to the stairs and said:
"The stairs need hoovering...."
I replied  by saying:
"Is that why the last slave is 6 foot under?"
I had a chat with his neighbour while I soaked up the sun's rays in the back garden.
Cleaned the kitchen,
Polished in the hall, living room and dining room.
After that I had a much needed coffee.
My dad "gave" me my late mum's big "Kenwood" food mixer as he was worried my younger brother would have it and sell it!
The sun was still shining when I got home.
Added more Pink to my kitchen↓↓↓
(My late mum would be happy)
Now to find room for my bigger Kenwood and to name it!
