Cake Is The Answer!

I had a bad night of tossing and turning

(Isn't that a name of a song?) 

I got up after giving my hubby some big 💋💋

Time for coffee and nibbles.

 I had a good friend pop in for coffee and chat.

We all finished off the cake...

(with addition help from my kids)

I thanked her for popping round.

Had to put my mouth battery on charge...

Now for chop chop.

Honey & Lemon Chicken, with mustard mash and peas...

  Found the batteries...

Now to turn on  the candle!

 

Making Full Use Of Friday & Husband!

Even better with added Friday Feeling...

We were going out for a ride...

 We gets back home...

A bit later on, the rain came down...☔

 I did a bit of chop chop...

Beef, onions cooked in red wine

with mustard mash..

Back on with hurting the ribs while laughing too much....

 

Using A Secret Ingredient Again...

As I couldn't get to my card crap.

I played with some cauliflowers before I had to chop chop

 With an added secret ingredient↓↓

I couldn't find the final disc of House MD season 7 :(

 Looked everywhere....

Watched a great first series...

Made by ribs hurt so much by laughing so much...

 Got all my hooks in one place...

 Now to dish up the Evening meal...

 Caulifower Cheese with Gruyere,Olives & Beer...

 My Stand Up To Cancer Bake Off apron will be here in a few days....

I will be watching more Bake Off later...

 Might give me ideas for my baking with Kenny tomorrow....

 

 

 

Just Looking Through One Big Window

Got up early....

Gets ready to go to the Craft Event.

Looks out of the bedroom window..

 Oh dear, not going anywhere now :(

Went back to a warm bed with a warm hubby.

Got up later again...

A little bit more had fallen..

 Coffee and nibble time..

 I  now have missed three events at the NEC,

I had tickets for :(.

November - Hobbycraft - In Hospital

December - Good Food Show - In cast

March - Craft Event- Snow.

April - Antiques for Everyone.....fingers crossed for that one...   

Now to use up some precious time...

We are running a Art & Craft stall in July at a local event...

Now to get ideas for products to make to sell.... 

Window shopping on Ebay & Amazon.

Got the Evening Meal ready....

Added the cider to the Pork Belly.

Added garlic to the mash...

Added mint to the saucepan of peas... 

Dished up...

 Now for more Bully...

Welcome to my Hump of the Week,

My son wanted to me to make a card for his favourite TA who is leaving on Friday.

(She helps in Breakfast Club)

So after everyone had a quick 💋

I got down to it...

 So much craft crap...

The Dining Room looked like a 💣 had hit it!

While making the card, 

Alexa was busy delivering the tunes...

1. Happy Tunes 
2. Best of Oasis
3. Best of Fleetwood Mac

The finished card..

 I whipped up a "Goodbye" wreath too.

Liquid Lunch soon followed..

Had a quick play with Henry..

 Then its back to chop chop for the Evening Meal...

The ingredients were:

Pork Steaks,

Peas,

Garlic,

Shallots,

Lemon Juice,

400g Charlotte potatoes halved,

Feta cheese. 

 It looks like I will be having a play with Kenny tomorrow....

As my son's favourite TA will have some cupcakes made by me...as another Leaving Present.

 Now the itchy baking hand can stop itching!

Out for a short ride in the sunshine🌞

Used my voucher for free cake & coffee↓

Waved to my hubby who took the shopping back to the car↓

 Dropped off a Birthday card 🎈

 Got back home to unpack

my reduced items↓

 Had a nibble..

 Time to chop chop for a nice recipe↓
