I Am Not Worthy!

One way to help the weather make up its mind is to hang out the washing - Marcelene Cox
Welcome to my sweaty Thursday..
Change of plan for the weekend...
No trip to Ikea,
Just rejig the Dining Room about....
A very early picture appeared on my timeline on fb...
Back in 1989,
I was a humble shop assistant working on the Youth Training Scheme in Poundstetchers...
(Playing with Henry the hoover)↓

I gave everyone some sweaty πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ before they all left.
Coffee first..↓
Dishwasher
&
Washing Machine on.
Got out the new mop and used a new flavour of Zoflora...
Mmmmmm lovely!
Now for a lovely lunch..↓
Back on the Wobbly Work wheel 🎑
It is so warm↓
Big sunglasses timeπŸ•Ά
 Quick look at the newspaper↓
There might be clouds...
But it is WARM!

My face turns to beetroot in a space of an hour....
I get help packing away \o/
 Another chin sweated off!
Listened to some great 70s tunes...on the way back home↓

Another cold shower
followed by a cold lolly
Off to do my other job.
Again the beetroot coloured face returns.
My t-shirt actually starts sticking to me,
I was that hot....
I had a cold wash...
Felt like doing the Timotei moment in the garden....

Instead I have another cold shower
I gave my hubby a big hug when he came back from work.
Once we had tea,
He had to do my dad's shopping.
I meanwhile had my final job to do with some great music...
Looking for another kitchenette from the 1960s.
I'm finding out most are up north on Ebay.
My cheeky brother quoted me £70 to fetch one 45 miles away!!!
Now to enjoy the bed!
The Friday Feeling is back tomorrow 🍾🍾

Wow,They Look Good!

I can live for two months on a good compliment - Mark Twain
After going to bed at 2am this morning...
I had a much deserved lie-in!
Our kids were doing their good deed of the month by doing goal-keeping for the Redditch lions at the Green Fair around the Near-by lake today
Once they got up,
Dressed, had breakfast, they were dropped off.
We had to do some errends ourselves.

We had to get another washing line,
As the last one was cut down to get the scaffording up.
Nice things in B&M.
Some people were sniffing the bottles of Zoflora.

So many lovely smells!
I got my dad's newspaper from Sainsburys.

Then off to do this week's food
I got two nice magazine holders for £3.99 each.

It's getting warm \o/
We gets home,
Puts the shopping away.
Now to head to the lake!

Some nice cars and motorcycles to look at.

Some birds of prey to look at.

I bumped into a ex-work mate who I worked with at "Fawlty Towers".
She was saying she wasn't getting no help with her daughter at the school.
I did say there were more than one school in Bromsgrove to go to if she wasn't happy!
There was a nice car to look at on the way out↓
The kids were given £10 each for helping out with the Redditch Lions.
We had a late tea due to trying to get things in the loft!
I meanwhile had to repot some plants and give them a good water!
Beans are growing!
  Lots of veg this year!
We caught up with this week's Top Gear..
Paddy and Freddie head to Borneo for a jungle adventure with the Gurkhas in a pair of very rare, very cheap old cars. Chris Harris tries out the world's most luxurious SUV, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, while Bob Mortimer is the studio guest.
Really good episode!
All ready to mount the Wobbly Work Wheel 🎑 tomorrow!

Shiny Disco Ball....

Welcome to my Sunday...
We went out in the Sexy Beast to visit Bromsgrove.
Got some bedding for the gerbils....↓
Had to stock up on something we are getting low on...↓
More additions to the Gnome Village↓
Speaking of Disco Balls,
I picked up something that will sparkle when I'm out.....
