You can become well red!
Welcome to my Throwback Thursday πŸ‘€
We were up early to do the Heardles.

Breakfast and Brew.
On goes the thermal vest!
Now to face the world!
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹
Gets to work.
On goes the winter coat and winter gloves.
Turns on my lights, and gets the newspaper.
Swaps the newspaper for my big stick.
Off to turn on my lights.
Due to the Teacher's Strike,
Not all of the 4 schools were open.
Turned on my lights and went down to my spot.
In the first 45 mins, I crossed over 3 people.
Then I got busy in the next 20 mins.
Finished in one piece.
Now to do some food shopping.
On the way to Lidl, I had a red Range Rover sitting on my arse, up to the Morrisons Island, I heard a car horn being pressed, I looked behind me and a black BMW had pushed in front of the Range Rover, and now was sitting on my arse all the way to Lidl.
I was glad to turn off!
Lots of Easter Eggs to choose from!
Back home.
The coffee machine goes on.
My friend come round with lots of nice stuff to have.
If I don't need any of it, off to Charity Shop with it.
Her daughter liked my collection of Minions!
I said to my friend see you later in the afternoon for a good rabbit!
Put the shopping away.
Coffee time.
Loaded up the dishwasher and put it on.
Liquid lunch time.
I looked on Google for when the rain comes.
9pm it said.
Looked out the window and it was raining.
Time for the sexy lumo trousers to come out.
Out to do the afternoon shift.
On goes the waterproof shoes.
Goes and puts on two sets of lights.
Back to Sexy Beast to collect my big stick.
Both friends arrive for a rabbit!
When it was time to say goodbye, off in the rain to my spot I went!
Not many people/kids I crossed over.
Had to rain to keep me busy.
Still had cars not stopping on the otherside of the road.
Finished in one piece.
Back to Sexy Beast I go.
Home time.
Cup of brew time.
Sorted through the 5 boxes of books.
These are going to good home.
And these.
Hubby came home and had a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹
We had a nice tea.
(Ate it before I took a photo of it!)
It was yum!
Now to look into today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1974:
Paper Lace - Billy Don't Be A Hero.

Surprised By Flowers!

Tact is the knack of making a point without making an enemy -
Issac Newton
Welcome to my Thursday 🌺🌼🌹🌸
Brew with Breakfast.
The thermal vest went on once more.
Not so many layers.
(Rumour has it,it's going to be quite warm this afternoon!)
I didn't have to cover up Sexy Beast either!
Now out of the door.
I gives hubby a wet sloppy one before I leave.
I still wore 2 hats and my big big gloves!
I put on my lights.
Let's get ready to roll 🍭
The first ten minutes was bedlam!
Cars doing the limbo dance under my stick.
BOING,BOING, BOING my stick went.
The cars are the otherside wasn't either stopping either, just putting their hand up when they went past me!
Suddenly a woman wearing a orange coat wanted to cross the road.
She handed me some nice flowers and a card and said:
"You do such a good job keeping the children safe, here are some flowers and a card from all of us at the school!"
I was quite gobsmacked
"Good job? Do I!" I replied.
"Yes you do, and we so appreciate it!"
"Must be doing something right, I am still here!"
I thanked her, and crossed her back over the road.
All the parents I crossed over, agreed with the Head Teacher, that I do a good job.
I was just amazed, as I am not used to compliments but just car drivers trying to kill me!
Finished in one piece.
I picked up the newspaper on the way home.
On goes the coffee machine.
Now to find the flower vase....
I sent the school the above photo, and thanked them for making my day!
Coffee time!
Now to make the next batch of soup.
Put on the soup maker.
"ERROR" kept coming on.
Emptied more mixture out of it.
3 more times it kept saying "ERROR"
I gave the lid a good clean and put it back on.
It worked that time.
I started yesterday's blog post.
I ended up having a jug full of soup and 2 bowls of soup as well.
One bowl went into the microwave to heat up for lunch.
I had a letter from my Prison Pen Pal from the USA.
Younger son has nearly completed his 1500 piece jigsaw puzzle.
Now out for the second time.
One winter hat, no gloves, and the big big sunglasses came out.
I put on my lights.
It's going to be some fun with low lying sun!
Now it's rabbit time with my two friends.
I said goodbye to them.
Now for more fun to have 🍭
Lots of BOINGs were given out!
Lots of parents asked "Who was the parent that nearly took me out last Monday?"
I pointed to the Land Rover that just went past me at the exact point they asked me.
Nearly finished, crossing the last parent and child over, when we had to stop in the middle of the road,as a car on the otherside just kept driving....!
 Hometime for me!
Now for that cup of brew!
I carried on writing yesterday's blog post.
&
Getting tonight's tea sorted out.
Linguine was put a saucepan of hot water.
Fried up some mushrooms, peppers, garlic, and spinach.
Once the Linguine was done, dried off the water, added some cream cheese, and everything I fried up.
Mixed it altogether.
Served it up.
(Ate it too quickly to take a photo,
It was so nice!)
Hubby arrived with more flowers!
He had his tea.
I looked into today's newspaper.

The rain was coming down heavy.
It was wet but warm.

Still few cars failing to stop :(
I finished in one piece.
I got the newspaper on the way home.
It was still raining when I got back.
I got my rain mac and put in some plants that came in the post yesterday.
Now for a much needed coffee.
I wrote two blog posts.
Lunchtime.
It was still raining when I left to go on my afternoon shift of lollipop 🍭
I put on those sexy lumos again..
I went to put on my lights and I noticed traffic lights. Oh dear the fun, we are going to have with the traffic!
Let the fun start...
After 10 minutes the sun came out and the rain stopped!
The traffic was backing up on both sides of the road.
Someone driving in a horse van found it funny not to stop while I had my stick in the air.
I survived this shift in one piece.
I chatted to my friend for twenty minutes.
Then off home for coffee and crumpets.
Back out for the 60s disco..
When I get in, I was given the mop pole I so wanted.
Fixed it to the mop head...
Now for business!
A little of bit mopping and hoovering at the end.
The rain was back!
A bit of singing in the rain on the way back home.
The rain still coming down when I got home.
Nice Mexico meal for me.
Then back out in the rain in Sexy Beast.
Filled up him with some petrol.
Off to Morrisons to get some tea for tomorrow.
Funny Private Eye front cover↓↓↓
Even got a nice CD to listen in Sexy Beast.
Gets back in the rain.
