Red Light Spells Danger!

I wish life had traffic lights, it would tell us when to go for it, when to be careful, and when to just stop.
Anurag Prakash Ray
Welcome to my Thursday 🚦
Nice warm hug to start the day!
Brew with breakfast.
Then the thermal vest goes on.
The sunshine was coming through the net curtains...\o/
Time to leave the house.
On goes the big big sunglasses.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one.
On goes two hats and gloves.
While I waiting to turn on my lights.
I see the queues forming over the road at the 3 way lights. All 3 stuck on red. Queues started to form.
There was a bus, then two cars behind.
 The Black BMW
(The third car behind the bus) tried to overtake eveyone but had to reverse back as a car appeared driving towards it!
I was glad to put on my lights and get to my spot after watching that!
Where was all this traffic coming from?
There were queues of traffic going up the road,
Some cars were waiting and doing U-turns in front of me.
Then there is traffic going past me all up the same side of road I am on!
When it was clear, the cars were failing to stop.
Plenty of BOINGs given out for that!
Finished in one piece!
I picked up the newspaper on way home.
I got the breadmaker out.
Tried to make Sourdough bread, but didn't have the yogurt to put in the mix, and the other way is you put the mix in a plastic cup with lid and put it in the bread pan!
All this messing about, so I thought I would use the Rye flour I bought, to make some bread with.
On it goes for 3 and half hours.
I put on the coffee machine while I was messing about.
Coffee is needed so much!
I get on with writing yesterday's blog post.
Woo hoo another letter from my American Prison Pen Pal.
Ran out of time to finish the blog post!
Time for some hot spicy soup!
Hot Chicken,Leek,Parsnip Soup.
All gone!
Now for round 2.
I took off my jumper, it was that warm.
Still put one hat on with a pair of gloves.
Turned on my lights.
Then went to join my friends for a rabbit.
That went quick!
Said goodbye to my friends.
Now for round 2.
Here we go...
The traffic wasn't moving over the other side of the road.
(They had kept the keep clear space clear for me)
I looked down the road, there was a small van refusing to reverse back, as it was blocking the road, so the bus couldn't come up the road,
(There was lorry behind the bus, so the bus wasn't going anywhere!)
There was a five minute stand off!
The van reversed back up the road, and went into a side road.
A BMW went down the same side road but the van was stuck in the way, she had to reverse out and had to carry on up the road.
The same van reversed out of the side road, held the traffic up again, and went past me up the road. Still lots of traffic, and some not stopping.
BOING TIME.
One of the school is closed tomorrow,
The other 3 are still open.
Hopefully it might be a bit quiet tomorrow.
Finished in one piece.
Now onto my own Tarot Reading.
Very interesting ...
Someone from my past is going to be a Golddigger with me!
Best of Luck with that!
Picks up son, and on the way back home.
Puts pies in the oven.
Peels all the potatoes so we can have some mashed potato!
Tried to get yesterday's blog post finished.
No chance again....
Bread was a disaster again.
Inside the bread was all wet.
Out on the bird table it went.
Try again with a bread mix.
See if I crack it next time!
Hubby comes back to have a sloppy wet one.
Tea is served.
That Tesco own brand of brown sauce is yak!
Now to watch something new on Netflix.
Bingewatched the Season 2.
Then to look into today's newspaper.

Monday 7 February 2022

Writing, Spinning, & Need Of A Strong Coffee!

Everything takes longer than it should except sex - Murphy's Law
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎡
Nice warm hug to start Monday with!
Brew with breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
Sexy Beast looks like a need a scrape.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one before I leave.
The sun might be coming up.
It's still freezing!
On goes 2 winter hats and the big big gloves.
I put on my lights.
Now to see how many tanks I can spot this morning...
Only saw two, is better than what I normally see...
Nice the normal white car on the otherside doesn't stop for me, she might be running out of luck soon!
Still had to do a few more BOINGs!
At least I finished in one piece!
I picks up the newspaper on the way home.
Puts on the coffee maker.
Chops some veggies and put on the soup maker.
Coffee time.
While I had some spare time.
Time to reply to the American Prison Pen Pal who sent me 2 letters last week.
I wrote him 6 pages.
That should keep him happy :)
The soup was ready to dish up.
I had a Labour leaflet pushed through the door.
Didn't knock the door.
Only hear the Councillors when they want to be re-electioned!
Dished up my soup.
Chicken,Leak,and Parsnip.
My new arier arrived.
I got in touch with Dunelm for my refund.
It is now been SIX  weeks since I put the order in. Waiting 3 weeks, and then cancelled it.
Now the excuses pile up:
1: The Manager at my local store hasn't received my order to give me a refund.
2: The IT department are working on it to find my order.
3: Today's excuse, is the only member of their IT team is now on ANNUAL LEAVE and I have to wait for them to come back!
I got sick of this utter crap and wrote a email to their CEO. If I don't hear nothing from him, I will go further up the food chain!
Now off to do my afternoon shift.
Next door's carers had to move their car again.
On goes one winter hat and lightweight gloves.
I got talking to my friend who has had his hand op the other week. He had come back from Stratford upon Avon on the bus and dropped his earing aid. He was just on the way to the bus stop when I got chatting.
I told his wife, "Since I have been wearing a facemask, I can't wear earrings, as they don't stop long in my ear lobes!"
Puts on my lights.
Now for a little rabbit with my friends.
The sun kept appearing from behind the clouds.
I said goodbye to my friends.
Now to have some fun 🍭
Oh dear, had 3 straight cars go under my stick.
BOING x 3
Some cars on the underside had to stop very quick!
At least I finished in one piece!
Hometime
Now to get changed into the pink lyrca!
I watched the last of The Irishman while doing my spinning.
Then onto the abs machine...
(I'm going to hurt tomorrow!)
Cools down.
Now to make the Meat Free Stir Fry.
Yum.
Out comes the Breadmaker.
I can't find my lovely Breadmaking book.
So from memory in it all goes...
On for 4 hours!
Now to look in today's newspaper.

Now for some Sleep Tea.
The bread came out alright!
Found my good Bread Maker book as well.
Hubby's team came back from 2-0 down to 2-2.
Even though Hubby lost his match on the pink.
I climbed into that warm bed...and fell off to sleep like a log!
