Trying To Get The Money Tree To Grow Some More!

Start off every day with a smile and get it over with - W.C.Fields
Welcome to my Friday Feeling 🎈
The start of the school holidays.
It kicked off last night.
There is a School Trip next February to Naples for the Year 13s.
Younger son wants to go.
Worked out the cost:
Trip - £550
(Deposit is £100 to be paid in September)
Passport - £70+
Spending money £300+
Then younger son wants me to pay the insurance on a car he can use to learn to drive.
£107 a month!
If he goes on that trip, he isn't go on our annual summer holiday.
(He didn't like that!)
He is starting a Summer Job over the 6 weeks holiday.
He says he won't contribute to the school trip!
It looks like I will have to get another job so he can go :(
Anyway that put me in good mood last night!
Time for some Heardle:
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers:
Breakfast and Brew.
Dressed.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet oneπŸ’‹ as off to work he goes.
Soon after he goes, I goes out too.
First I get the newspaper.
Has a chat with the Sales Assistants in there.
One knew my late dad, and one had her daughter in the same year as my younger son.
Now off for coffee, chat and nibble.
Parks up the car park.
Quick chat with the Postman who was sorting out his van.
Then off to coffee I go.
Had a good chat with my friend.
Said goodbye, and off I go home.
Waters the garden.
Has a really light lunch.
The Bake Off I am putting a cake into has now moved to the Sunday.
There is contest for over 18's
&
one for the under 18's.
I ordered more things for the cake,
which I forgot to get last week!
I put the tea on.
Rewatched a good show on Netflix which I was good the first time I watched it.
Hubby came home for a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹
Tea is served.
Looked into today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1965:
The Byrds - Mr Tambourine Man
USA No.1 on this day in 1989:

We nipped out to check Sexy Beast's tyre pressures.

Fun In The Sun!

An optimist is someone on death row, who is also a member of Weight Watchers - Jonathan Katz
Welcome aboard my Wobbly Work Wheel 🎑
Nice hug to start the working week with.
Brew with breakfast.
It's another sad anniversary in the house.
As it is the 26th anniversary of my hubby's mum passing away..
I got dressed.
(Hubby is not going back to work until next week, as he has lots to sort out with his dad's death).
I gave hubby a sloppy wet one 😘
I went a different way to work, as there was a sign up to say a bit of road I normally used was closed for resurfing.
I was alright halfway there until I was stuck behind a 68 plate white van doing 25 m.p.h in a 40 zone!
I go and get the newspaper before I get changed.
It was nice to slip into my lollypop coat again.
I turned on my lights.
Then I walked down to my spot.
Just 3 minutes into my shift.
How I didn't miss a woman's windscreen is beyond me!
Her gums were banging when she went past.
I had two BOINGs to give out!
My tape recorder was being played alot!
I told everyone who asked if I had a good Easter.
"No, terrible Easter, I wouldn't wish it anyone what we have gone through!"
Got finished in one piece.
Back home I go.
The coffee machine went on.
As did the washing machine.
I took up the dry washing that was in the Dining Room.
Hubby was walking around Evesham while he was getting his car serviced.
I made a new batch of soup and bread.
Watered the plants.
Now for that much important coffee.
Hung the washing on the line.
Now time for a nice bit of liquid lunch.
The bread was done :)
Hubby's car was finished.
He was coming back home,
I was leaving it!
The road was actually open, and had chippings put down. I was doing the necessary 20 m.p.h.
One white BMW decided not to and I was sprayed in chippings as he overtook me!
Gets down to job in the sunshine!
On goes the summer coat with
Big Big Sunglasses.
I turn on my lights.
Now to soak up the rays!
I only had one friend turn up to have a little rabbit with....
Now to start the afternoon shift!
I said goodbye to my friend.
He may not be here tomorrow as he is taking his sister to a Funeral tomorrow.
My hubby went past me, waving at me.
A couple of seconds later had to stop the traffic.
I gave out two BOINGs as the cars failed to stop.
One gave me a wink as he went past!
At least I finished in one piece.
Back home I go.
Hubby had a warm hug and a nice sloppy wet one 😘
Much needed brew needed...
Hubby did the tea....
I had two blog posts to write for this blog and a blog post for the other one.
Mmmm tea was nice.
After I did my blogging.
A quick look into today's newspaper:

Red Light Spells Danger!

I wish life had traffic lights, it would tell us when to go for it, when to be careful, and when to just stop.
Anurag Prakash Ray
Welcome to my Thursday 🚦
Nice warm hug to start the day!
Brew with breakfast.
Then the thermal vest goes on.
The sunshine was coming through the net curtains...\o/
Time to leave the house.
On goes the big big sunglasses.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one.
On goes two hats and gloves.
While I waiting to turn on my lights.
I see the queues forming over the road at the 3 way lights. All 3 stuck on red. Queues started to form.
There was a bus, then two cars behind.
 The Black BMW
(The third car behind the bus) tried to overtake eveyone but had to reverse back as a car appeared driving towards it!
I was glad to put on my lights and get to my spot after watching that!
Where was all this traffic coming from?
There were queues of traffic going up the road,
Some cars were waiting and doing U-turns in front of me.
Then there is traffic going past me all up the same side of road I am on!
When it was clear, the cars were failing to stop.
Plenty of BOINGs given out for that!
Finished in one piece!
I picked up the newspaper on way home.
I got the breadmaker out.
Tried to make Sourdough bread, but didn't have the yogurt to put in the mix, and the other way is you put the mix in a plastic cup with lid and put it in the bread pan!
All this messing about, so I thought I would use the Rye flour I bought, to make some bread with.
On it goes for 3 and half hours.
I put on the coffee machine while I was messing about.
Coffee is needed so much!
I get on with writing yesterday's blog post.
Woo hoo another letter from my American Prison Pen Pal.
Ran out of time to finish the blog post!
Time for some hot spicy soup!
Hot Chicken,Leek,Parsnip Soup.
All gone!
Now for round 2.
I took off my jumper, it was that warm.
Still put one hat on with a pair of gloves.
Turned on my lights.
Then went to join my friends for a rabbit.
That went quick!
Said goodbye to my friends.
Now for round 2.
Here we go...
The traffic wasn't moving over the other side of the road.
(They had kept the keep clear space clear for me)
I looked down the road, there was a small van refusing to reverse back, as it was blocking the road, so the bus couldn't come up the road,
(There was lorry behind the bus, so the bus wasn't going anywhere!)
There was a five minute stand off!
The van reversed back up the road, and went into a side road.
A BMW went down the same side road but the van was stuck in the way, she had to reverse out and had to carry on up the road.
The same van reversed out of the side road, held the traffic up again, and went past me up the road. Still lots of traffic, and some not stopping.
BOING TIME.
One of the school is closed tomorrow,
The other 3 are still open.
Hopefully it might be a bit quiet tomorrow.
Finished in one piece.
Now onto my own Tarot Reading.
Very interesting ...
Someone from my past is going to be a Golddigger with me!
Best of Luck with that!
Picks up son, and on the way back home.
Puts pies in the oven.
Peels all the potatoes so we can have some mashed potato!
Tried to get yesterday's blog post finished.
No chance again....
Bread was a disaster again.
Inside the bread was all wet.
Out on the bird table it went.
Try again with a bread mix.
See if I crack it next time!
Hubby comes back to have a sloppy wet one.
Tea is served.
That Tesco own brand of brown sauce is yak!
Now to watch something new on Netflix.
Bingewatched the Season 2.
Then to look into today's newspaper.
