The Friday Feeling is back 🎈
Heardle Time!
Heardle 60s:
My results:
Breakfast and Brew.
Gets dressed.
No sexy lumo trousers \o/
Time to do one.....
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋
I went the normal way to work.
I put on my Summer coat, Panta hat under my summer hat, and my big big sunglasses.
I went and got today's newspaper.
Collected my big stick.
Now to turn on my lights.
Turned on my lights.
Now let's go to work!
At least the sun has come out.
Had to give some BOINGS out.
Especially on those cars on the otherside of the road. Plus put stick down a bit lower, and the car drivers had to stop!
Finished in one piece.
Back home I go.
Puts on the coffee machine.
Now to make tonight's tea.
Everything went into the pot↓
Put it in the oven for later.
Coffee time!
I had to leave early, so I had a very early liquid lunch...
Now out I go...
I missed the red BMW this time.
Time to visit the local Charity Shop.
I got some bargains!
Walked back to Sexy Beast
Met up with one of my friends.
Got my Summer coat on .
Turned on my lights.
Then went back to the square and our other friend joined us for a good rabbit.
I wished everyone a good weekend.
Now to start the afternoon shift.
The low lying sun wasn't helping.
A few BOINGs given out for those car drivers who failed to stop again.
Three women walked past me, and couldn't get their cars out of the hall car park.
Both gates were closed.
I finished and went over to see if the gates were going to get opened.
The Caretaker told off the women for going off to have a drink after their class and leaving their cars in the car park.
One comment from one of the women:
"He is being just an arse!"
The three women go off in their cars.
I take off my coat, and the caretaker comes over and tells me about how they should have moved their cars and not left them in the  car park!
I wished him a good weekend and left.
 Puts oven on.
Nice brew to have.
Unpacks the bargains from the Charity Shop.
Makes some cheesy mash.
Hubby comes home.
He has a sloppy wet one 💋
Tea is served.
Yum!
Now to look in today's newspaper.
UK No.1 on this day in 1978:

US No.1 on this day in 2000:

We got ready for hubby to be tested on how bad his snoring is and how well he sleeps.
An early sleep tea.
Hubby is all wired up.
He is sleeping in one of the son's bedroom.
I had a nice kingsize bed to myself!
Bed early all round.
Night all!

Thursday 9 June 2022

Out Comes The Bunting & Balloons!

It works better if you plug it in - Sattinger's Law
Welcome to my Thursday 😌
One day to go until my hubby's Birthday.
He has his Hawaii 5-0 last year!
Sunshine time!
We did all Heardles.
Heardle 60s was:
Time for brew and breakfast.
Dressed.
Out of the sunshine...
Big big sunglasses time.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one before I leave.
I get my newspaper before the Summer coat goes on.
Summer coat goes on.
The road works are still there.
More fun expected.
Puts on my lights.
Now to Rock 'n' Roll...
Soon both sides of the road are blocked.
One parent comes out of the road up from me.
Instead of crossing with me, she drags her child over the road in moving traffic, and does the same on the way back!
(Yet she crosses with me in the afternoon!)
I had to give out a few BOINGs as they got through the traffic lights and no intention of stopping for me!
My younger brother went past me in his van,I just didn't look at him, I kept staring down the road.
Finished in one piece.
The coffee morning is on a bit later↓
I leave Sexy Beast in the car park.
First stop was some bits from the Co-op.
Chats with a former customer for half an hour.Even his wife was looking for it.
I shouts up to her,"Give him an hour to repeat what I said to him!"
Next stop was a visit into the Charity Shop.
Picked up a bargain for £5.
When I got to the Coffee morning, I asked,"If I could buy the whole Chocolate cake?"
The answer was yes for a donation.
Donation paid, put cake into a  Heros plastic box.
I also bought 3 pieces of cake to take back home.
I meanwhile had a coffee with cake :)
My friends arrived who I chat with in the afternoon.
More rabbit to do...
We all had a go on the raffle.
After my second cup of the coffee, we left.
See you all later I said.
Back home.
Time to blow up some balloons...
One son already had his cake!
Finds the bunting to put up in the garden.
Then it rains....
(Will put it up when I get back!)
Salad time.
Now out for part 2!
Puts on my summer coat.
Then puts on my lights.
It still is raining!
The hole has been filled in, and has been covered in tarmac.
However the traffic lights are still there.
One friend arrives and we stay under the shelter until it stops.
We carry onto the square for a chat,
Then my other friend arrives and now it's time for a little rabbit...
One of the pupils from the High School was waving a great big Pride Flag.
I gave him a smile.
I heard him say,
"I am getting a lot of smiles from people, when I wave the flag!"
I said goodbye to my friends.
Let's hope it's better that this morning.
Nope!
Cars just doing the Limbo Dance under my stick.
One BMW nearly has her car ariel ripped off by going under my big stick!
One red car had stopped in the Keep Clear Space.
I needed to cross some parents over with pushchairs. When she saw me coming over the road, She mouthed, Oh F**k, and reveresed her car back, so the parents and kids could cross over.
One girl came home to find her mum had put balloons and a Birthday Banner on the front door.
She was not best pleased with it!
Still the cars were failing to stop. It got to the point, where nothing was moving either sides.
I was glad to finish in one piece.
Back home.
The sun is out.
Time to put up the bunting for Birthday boy!
I then put the tea on.
Hubby came home and was very impressed with how the garden looks....
Now to give him a sloppy wet one 💋
Tea is served.
Yum.
Quick look in today's newspaper.
