I gave hubby a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹ before he left for work.
Once I got up, the thermal vest went on.
First up was to nip out to get the newspaper and bits for tea tonight.
I got everything from Tesco Express.
An orange Skoda has parked so the traffic lights couldn't pick him up to change to green.
A good ten minutes he was waiting for the light to change. I went the other way.
The house next door to my late dad's old house is up for sale...
£300,000 and it's yours!
Back home.
Coffee time!
Now to use up two cauliflowers that was in this week's magic box.
Plus four leeks as well.
Cauliflower Cheese!
It was put in the oven ready for tonight!
I wrote one blog post up to liquid lunch!
Back to writing the second blog post....

It's Slowly Being Emptied!

I told you a million times, don't exaggerate - Rik Mayall
Welcome to my Thursday BedlamπŸŽ’
Up early to do the Heardles:
Heardle 60s:
My answers:
Breakfast and brew time.
I got my thermal vest on, as well as plenty of layers.
Now to leave the house.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹
On goes the winter coat, winter hats and winter gloves.
Gets my newspaper.
I hope that lorry moves,
before I start my shift!
Exchange my newspaper for my big red stick.
Now to put on my lights.
Now let's go to work...🍭
One car stalled, put my stick out, the engine came back to life, and drove straight under my stick!
BOING! my big stick went.
It wasn't as bad as yesterday....
At least the traffic lights were letting a few cars through.
Finished in one piece.
Tired to park on my half of the drive.
However.
The two black bins were in the middle of the drive and had a council lorries either side of the bins.
I had to park opposite to move the black bins out of the way.
The bed bases were still waiting to be collected.
The Council workers were still clearing out next door's house.
I did offer them a drink and they refused.
In the house I went to put on my coffee machine.
Washing machine went on.
I looked out of the front door and saw the bed bases still there.
I saw someone driving past, looked at the bed bases, then they looked up and saw me staring at them as they drove past. hehehe.
Light lunch time.
Now to do the afternoon shift.
On goes my winter hat, winter coat and winter gloves. I turn on my lights. I collect my big stick.
I go and wait in the square for my friends.
Both friends turn up for a little rabbit.
The low-lying sun was a bit of problem again.
At least the traffic lights are slowing down the traffic. Last minute braking on the otherside not helping..
A few BOINGs given out.
Finished in one piece.
Home time.
The bed bases were took away \o/
Let's see how much has been emptied from next door.
The shed is still full.
Now to have a much needed brew.
Now to get the tea on the go.
Hubby comes back.
I gives him a sloppy wet one πŸ’‹
Tea is served up.
Yum!
Now to look into today's newspaper.
