Sideswipe Hump!

Cheer up! The worst is yet to come - Chase Johnson
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Got up the normal time.
Time for a bit of Heardle!
Heardle 60s:
My son's answers:
Brew with Breakfast time.
Dressed.
I gave my hubby a sloppy wet 💋 before I left to get the newspaper.
I gets the newspaper.
Waiting for the traffic lights to change to green.
As I was about to go,
A white van on my right hand side, pulled straight in front of me, I had to brake or he would have took me out!
I looked across at the White Van man who put his hand up at me as he carried on.
Too late to give him the finger!
Then the traffic lights turned to red!
Waited for a few minutes for it to change to green.
Nearly had a repeat performance from the car on my right, he let me go, I put my hand up, and off I went back home.
I need a strong coffee after that!
On goes the coffee machine.
Watered the plants,
Unloaded and loaded up the dishwasher.
Once the washing machine finished.
I put the clothes on the line.
My neighbour was out the front on his mobility scooter.
I went out and gave him his magazine I got yesterday for him.
He then went off to town on it.
My friend came for her Birthday present, chat, and cake!
The Nurse came for my next door neighbour.
Alas he was not back.
10 minutes later, a taxi turned up, the taxi driver got 2 bags of shopping, and my magazine out of the boot.
Then the mobility scooter was unfolded, and my neighbour came down the path.
Followed by the nurse.
I wished my friend a Happy Birthday.
I then carried on putting the washing on the line.
Then off out with my youngest son...
First stop was Lidl.
Then into Dunelm.
Got my bits I needed.
Back home.
Unpacked all my things I bought.
Before I start doing things with the stuff I bought.
Light lunch.
Then I replaced the pillow cases on our bed.
(Hubby will change the bed sheet on our bed later)
I took off everything of the sofa.
Got my old mate, Henry out for a quick play.
Hoovered in the living room, hall, and under the sofa!
Made the sofa with the new throwovers.
Tea at 3.
The older son went and got some Magic Bags.
Here is what he got:
Now to get on with the tea.
Hubby came home and a sloppy wet one 💋
Beetroot Burgers.
Very nice :)
I looked into today's newspaper.

Red Light Spells Danger!

I wish life had traffic lights, it would tell us when to go for it, when to be careful, and when to just stop.
Anurag Prakash Ray
Welcome to my Thursday 🚦
Nice warm hug to start the day!
Brew with breakfast.
Then the thermal vest goes on.
The sunshine was coming through the net curtains...\o/
Time to leave the house.
On goes the big big sunglasses.
Gives hubby a sloppy wet one.
On goes two hats and gloves.
While I waiting to turn on my lights.
I see the queues forming over the road at the 3 way lights. All 3 stuck on red. Queues started to form.
There was a bus, then two cars behind.
 The Black BMW
(The third car behind the bus) tried to overtake eveyone but had to reverse back as a car appeared driving towards it!
I was glad to put on my lights and get to my spot after watching that!
Where was all this traffic coming from?
There were queues of traffic going up the road,
Some cars were waiting and doing U-turns in front of me.
Then there is traffic going past me all up the same side of road I am on!
When it was clear, the cars were failing to stop.
Plenty of BOINGs given out for that!
Finished in one piece!
I picked up the newspaper on way home.
I got the breadmaker out.
Tried to make Sourdough bread, but didn't have the yogurt to put in the mix, and the other way is you put the mix in a plastic cup with lid and put it in the bread pan!
All this messing about, so I thought I would use the Rye flour I bought, to make some bread with.
On it goes for 3 and half hours.
I put on the coffee machine while I was messing about.
Coffee is needed so much!
I get on with writing yesterday's blog post.
Woo hoo another letter from my American Prison Pen Pal.
Ran out of time to finish the blog post!
Time for some hot spicy soup!
Hot Chicken,Leek,Parsnip Soup.
All gone!
Now for round 2.
I took off my jumper, it was that warm.
Still put one hat on with a pair of gloves.
Turned on my lights.
Then went to join my friends for a rabbit.
That went quick!
Said goodbye to my friends.
Now for round 2.
Here we go...
The traffic wasn't moving over the other side of the road.
(They had kept the keep clear space clear for me)
I looked down the road, there was a small van refusing to reverse back, as it was blocking the road, so the bus couldn't come up the road,
(There was lorry behind the bus, so the bus wasn't going anywhere!)
There was a five minute stand off!
The van reversed back up the road, and went into a side road.
A BMW went down the same side road but the van was stuck in the way, she had to reverse out and had to carry on up the road.
The same van reversed out of the side road, held the traffic up again, and went past me up the road. Still lots of traffic, and some not stopping.
BOING TIME.
One of the school is closed tomorrow,
The other 3 are still open.
Hopefully it might be a bit quiet tomorrow.
Finished in one piece.
Now onto my own Tarot Reading.
Very interesting ...
Someone from my past is going to be a Golddigger with me!
Best of Luck with that!
Picks up son, and on the way back home.
Puts pies in the oven.
Peels all the potatoes so we can have some mashed potato!
Tried to get yesterday's blog post finished.
No chance again....
Bread was a disaster again.
Inside the bread was all wet.
Out on the bird table it went.
Try again with a bread mix.
See if I crack it next time!
Hubby comes back to have a sloppy wet one.
Tea is served.
That Tesco own brand of brown sauce is yak!
Now to watch something new on Netflix.
Bingewatched the Season 2.
Then to look into today's newspaper.

Friday 4 February 2022

It's Just A Matter Of Time....

Two wrongs don't make a right, but they make a good excuse - Thomas Szasz.
Welcome to my Friday Feeling 🎈
Nice big hug to start Friday with!
Brew with Breakfast.
Thermal vest goes on.
I don't have to uncover Sexy Beast.
Two Winter hats, and big big gloves goes on.
Plus it was drizzling, so the big boots went on as well!
I put on my lights.
Now to enjoy the last morning shift of the week!
Most of the car drivers stopped.
Only few had the BOINGs!
4 cars on the otherside didn't stop, only put their hands up when they went past...
They should be using their foot to stop nevermind giving me a wave!
Finished in one piece.
Now to fetch cake!
I got talking to one person for 5 minutes before I go the cake.
Then chattered with someone else for 10 minutes.
Nipped home to pick up some blue milk.
Then back out.
Picked up newspaper on the way to coffee, cake, and yak!
Arrived a bit later then I was supposed to.
Coffee on and as well as nibbles!
Thanks my friend for having me.
Now back home for some light lunch!
Some of the schools were commenting about me in their newsletters to parents.
The sun is out.
Time for those big big sunglasses to come out.

There was a good tune that came on,
A really big tune,
That went on repeat x 3.
Singing along when I go to work....↓
Only had one winter hat and lightweight gloves.
Puts on my lights.
Waits for my friends to arrive.
In the meantime, the sun is playing Peek A Boo.
Both friends arrive.
Each has a chocolate Gingerman off me.
A little bit of Rabbit...
Then we disturbed by a "Karen" who was bitching about someone blocking her car in!
Lots of shouting and stamping off feet!
I looked at her car, and remembered back to December 6th 2021....
Some car had parked so close to mine, I couldn't get in....↓
Karma does work then!
She was banging her gums because she couldn't track down the driver. I suggested he was probably in the near-by building.
She banged her car keys on the window, and demanded the car be moved...
I started humming..."I'm so Pretty!"
She drove off as soon as the car reversed.
Now to start my final shift of the week!
The low lying sun wasn't helping!
A few cars had the BOING treatment!
Finished in one piece.
Home time.
Time for a much needed Brew!
Puts the tea on.
Now to get yesterday's blog post.
Hubby came back and had a nice wet sloppy one.
Tea is served.
Yum.
Younger son completed a 1500 jigsaw.
It only had one piece missing 👿
While they went shopping.
I looked into today's newspaper.
