Wow, That's A Nice Price!

My mother-in-law has come round to our house at Christmas seven years running. This year we're having a change. We're going to let her in - Les Dawson

Nice warm hug with hot brew!
Breakfast.
More Christmas themed clothes to wear!
Kids were helping to deliver some Labour leaflets for our good friend Cllr Joe.
I declutted the bathroom.
All the empty Body Shops tubs were put in the recycle bin, as our local store has closed down!
Coffee time!
The kids were back in no time.
Now for us to go out for some fresh air!

There was a nice hunky man on the next magazine I looked at!
We had to go to Morrisons for some mixed fruit.
We picked up a whole Salmon for under £8.
That's being cooked on Tuesday!
Nice large Mocha on the way out..
Back home to unpack the shopping.
Light lunch time↓
There is now a vacancy come up for a Cllr for my ward.The one who was going up for it, as moved to Nottingham. so I have to go for a interview and get the ball rolling.
That should be interesting....
I gets yesterday's blog wrote while hubby does his work out on the Wii.
Tea is served!
Roast Pork with lots of stuffing and veg.
With Crab Apple jelly.
We watch more of Season 15 of Hell's Kitchen up to the final episode.
I have quick look in today's newspaper..
 John  Hillerman was an American actor best known for his starring role as Jonathan Quayle Higgins III on the television series Magnum, P.I. that aired from 1980–1988. For his role as Higgins, Hillerman earned five Golden Globe nominations, winning in 1981, and four Emmy nominations, winning in 1987. He retired from acting in 1999. 
He would have been 88 years old 🎈
He died aged 84 in 2017
Bobby Darin (born Walden Robert Cassotto)  was an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, impressionist, and actor in film and television. He performed jazz, pop, rock and roll, folk, swing, and country music.
He died on this day aged 37 in 1973

I finished tidying up the living room after putting away all the card crap from the weekend.
Light Lunch.
Just about to leave and I see this...
 It finally moved when I got into my Sexy Beast car.
It is raining heavily.
 
 I get to work, and have a quick look at the Birthdays...
Roger E. Mosley: American actor,(Magnum P.I) is 80 years old.
 Steven Spielberg:American Director (ET, Close Encounters, Jaws),is 72 years old.

Kirsty MacColl: English singer and songwriter, dies at 41 in 2000.

 The Christmas Dinner was running late by half an hour.
Goes round to see my dad afterwards.
Then I nip into the local Post Office to post some of Christmas Cards.
I see a postie friend picking up the mail.
"What big sacks you have?" I laugh.
He laughs too.
"Don't you just love your job?" I ask.
He says,"I hate my job...."
"No, you love your job especially when you finish on Christmas Eve." I reply.
Gets back home in the rain.
 Nibble time...
 cake anyone?
Coffee and chocolate.
Caught up on some television.
My kids give me the other half of their Christmas list...
Is it going to be wet or dry Hump tomorrow 🐫?

I Prefer The Soft To The Hard Stuff!

Woo hoo it's Saturday...
A little lie in....
Now to take out Larry for a ride..
Had a good CD to break in...
 We were greeted by the reindeers
 There were lots of nice Christmas items to get us into the mood...
The 3 litre bottle of vodka for  £176.00!!!
Good job I don't drink alcohol no more!
 (That wouldn't had lasted too long if I did!)
To celebrate the upcoming third Anniversary of being Tea-Total.
