"No, nothing wakes me!" - Morecambe and Wise
Welcome to my Tuesday πŸ‘
Nice warm hug to start Tuesday with.
Breakfast with brew.
I gave hubby a sloppy wet πŸ’‹ before he left for work.
Then I enjoyed the king-size bed for an hour.
Then up I got!
My son finished another jigsaw last night.
(Took him 4 hours to do)
Thermal vest went on.
Dressed.
Now out to get some fresh air.
Good job I got my thermals on!
I gets the newspaper and fills up Sexy Beast with fuel.
Back home I go.
Puts on the coffee machine.
Two baskets of washing goes upstairs to be sorted out.
Tumble drier back on for a bit.
Now for the much needed coffee.
Then I get on with writing 2 blog posts.
All the way to lunch!
Second time I sent Dunelm a email about my order....
Heard nothing from the first email I sent them!
Lunch.
Mmmm homemade soup.
The temperatures are going to drop down tonight.
Covered up Sexy Beast.
Back on the Wobbly Work Wheel tomorrow🍭
Lollipop Stick went back in...
Now for a belated Tea at 3.
More fabric arrived and a Me to You Bear.
Finally could unwrap my Pooh bear I had for Christmas.
Our Prime Minister was giving a press conference...
Hubby came home and a sloppy wet πŸ’‹.
We had Vegetarian Burgers for tea.
Once the dishwasher was loaded up.
I had a nice hot shower.
Chopped up more veg and the soup maker went back on.
Now to look inside the newspaper.

Sing,Repeat, Sing Again!

You have no idea how much it costs to look this cheap -
Dolly Parton
Welcome to July!😎
Once the alarm was turned, I fell back to sleep...
Looked at my watch it was 6.50!!!!
Got up, washed and changed.
Woke up kids.
Breakfast with a slurp of brew.
Gave out my sloppy wet πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ to everyone.
Now out of the house I go.
Wearing some fancy trousers...
Time to wear the summer coat!
Tree pic.
Now for the fun to start!
The Cheeky Window Cleaner shouted through his window to me:
"You still left your pyjamas on!"
Cheek!
Didn't see the Lambo...
Instead  a nice white McLaren sports car went past me.
A few cars had to test their brakes!
Finished in one piece.
Back home.
Last day for the Bunting to be up in the garden!
Much needed coffee.
Younger son wasn't up,
So we didn't go to Bidford car boot this week.
Instead I did some shopping on-line on the Dunelm website....
"Sale Time!"
My new trainers had arrived.
However, looking at the size of the box.
(Being on the small size)
It turns out they are a size 10!
(I am size 12!)
Wrapped the packet back up, and going to send it back later.
Now to get tea made for later...
Rolled out the pastry.
A bit of blind bake time...
Fried up some peppers, mushrooms, garlic and spinach in a pan.
Once done, I checked the jar of Pesto.
(Gone off!)
I used a carton of  Tomato Passata instead.
Added everything, and put it in the oven for later.
Watered the plants outside.
I had a bit of missmatch for lunch.
Run out of salad, just had bits of the fridge.
I left the house a bit early to post the parcel.
I put on the 50's CD on I bought at the weekend.
Kept playing one song over and over again,
As it is that feel good feeling!
The song is:
Posted the trainers back,
First Class Recorded Delivery.
Now down to do my afternoon shift of Lollipop.
The sun was trying to break out of the clouds.
Summer coat went on.
Now for bedlam to start.
There were two coachers parked further up the road, which caused a backlog of car trying to get pass them. A lorry further down the road, had car drivers backing up the otherside of the road.
Cars everywhere!
Banging of gums as well, especially when I had to stop the car drivers.
One man went past and shouted to me:
"You didn't stop me!"
"I will next time!" I laughed.
Parents were still trying to cross behind the coaches to get over the road in front of moving traffic!
At least I finished in one piece.
I was going to get a drink from the near-by mini-mart.
As I was picking up by Dunelm order, I might as well nip into Lidl and get a drink.
Picked up my order from Dunelm.
Picked a salad and a drink from Lidl next.
Back home to see the Bunting had been took down!
Time to unpack my bargains from Dunelm.
At least the house is going to smell nice :)
I caught up on 3 days newspapers.
Gave hubby a sloppy wet πŸ’‹ when he came home.
Time to slice up the tart!
So yum!
Nice long look into today's newspaper.

It's Finally Coming Off!

I've got a hair in my mouth. That takes me back - Lilly Savage
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
It was nice to have a warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Woke up the kids for school.
Gave everyone their sloppy wet πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹
Now to leave the house.
Time for those big big sunglasses to come out.
It was still too cold to put on my summer coat.
The winter one came out.
Tree pic.
This is where the fun starts...
Still cars look up at the lollypop stick when they drive under it.
I just roll my eyes and let them get on with it!
I haven't seen Flintstone since Monday, so perhaps she is getting her brakes sorted!
I saw the lambo today \o/
I finish in one piece.
Now to get my haircut!
We had a good yak while the hair was being shaved off!
Feel so much better afterwards!
Says my goodbyes.
Gets today's newspaper and my neighbour's magazine.
Then it's home.....
For a much needed coffee
I put the ham joint in the oven ready.
Made the sage and onion stuffing ready to put in the oven.
Vegetables in the saucepan ready.
As we ran out of soup,
I had a rather nice pot noodle for lunch.
Then I had to go out for my second Covid vaccine.
Waited in the waiting room.
In the left arm it went.
Waited for 15 minutes before going back to Sexy Beast.
Finally got my Limerick done!
There once was a woman called Polly.
Who was the local lolly .
Dressed in yellow, she was so jolly.
When the cars didn't stop, she did despair,
To which she gave them the evil glare.
The councillor has been reelected to where I do my lollipop job took a photo of me doing my job last week....
Speaking of job.
I didn't fancy hunting for a parking space in the public car parks and not finding one.
I parked in the Co-op and bought some tins of soup while I was there.
Then I had to walk up the High Street,
(I chose to wear my summer coat)
Turned on my lights, then sat down on the bench to enjoy some vitamin D before I started.
Once I started the fun started.
99% of cars stopped.
However the 1% decided not to stop and keep going under the stick to disappear up the road.
Once I finished in one piece.
Nice long walk back to Sexy Beast.
Back home
Nice cup of brew with crumpets.
I switched Cds, from 70s to 60s...
Now for the roadtrip to work...
Once I got in.
I sorted the skip out ready for work.
I got the cleaning done.
I was asked about the blue mop and bucket.
Yes I said I have those, but no pole to attach the mop head to!
Put the skip back and out came the hoover to the do the staircase.
I couldn't do much more as the Painter was doing work on the First Floor.
Put the hoover back.
Finished on time today \o/
Back on the 60s....
Back home.
At least it's not raining!
Now enjoy some tea.
Quick look into today's newspaper.
