Nice To See You, See You Nice!

Good news rarely comes in a brown evelope - Henry Goldsmid
Welcome to my Tuesday Fun πŸ‘
I had a nice warm hug,
Followed by:
Brew with breakfast.
Hubby got dressed.
Had a nice sloppy wet one before he left.
I carried on reading the Godfather book for an hour.
Then got up, opened all the curtains.
Cleaned out the fridge.
Had a quick coffee.
Got dressed.
(Thermal vest was included)
Now out of the house.
Picked up my newspaper on the way to pickup a Magic Bag.
Someone was trying to reverse a truck with a trailer on the back into a side road, three times it tried to straighten up the trailer!
I just rolled my eyes when he finally did it!
Walking to go and get my Magic bag, I bumped into the Postman who is doing my old delivery.
We had a good yak for 15 minutes!
Nice to have a yak!
Goes and get the magic bag.
Lovely!
Back home.
Then I got on with writing yesterday's blog post all the way to lunch!
Soup Time.
I tried to do a Sourdough loaf.
However my Bread Maker isn't the upgraded model that can do one.
So it was on for 6 hours with this bread receipe.
Hopefully it should taste nice!
I ordered some crystal books to help with know my crystals.
Tea at 3.
I wrote out what crystals I have already go and what they are good for.
I put the Beetroot burgers in the oven.
Hubby came home and a sloppy wet one.
They were very nice on a brown roll, with lettuce.
The kids had normal beefburgers.
I am going to do a Crystal Chakra Healing on my hubby later.
But first, let's have a look at the Birthdays first.
Guy Mitchell (born Albert George Cernik) was an American pop singer and actor, successful in his homeland, the UK, and Australia. He sold 44 million records, including six million-selling singles.
He would have been 95 years old 🎈
He sadly died aged 72 in 1999.

UK No.1 on this day in 1975:
Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel -
Make me Smile (Come Up And See Me)
Uk No.1 on this day in 1985:
Elaine Paige & Barbara Dickson -
I Know Him So Well
UK No.1 on this day in 1992:
Shakespears Sister - Stay
UK No.1 on this day in 1997:
No Doubt - Don't Speak
USA No.1 on this day in 1960:
Percy Faith - Theme From A Summer Place
USA No.1 on this day in 1967:
The Buckinghams - Kind Of A Drag
USA No.1 on this day in 1975:
Average White Band - Pick Up The Pieces.
The first episode of Knight Rider was broadcast in the UK on ITV on this day in 1983.
Now to do a Crystal Charka Cleaning on hubby.
98% he was asleep while he had the crystals on him!
While he was snoring, he belly went up, so did the crystals!
After 40 minutes and it was done, I woke him up, and went down to cleanse all the crystals.
Sleep Tea time.
Now to charge up my crystals....

Sing,Repeat, Sing Again!

You have no idea how much it costs to look this cheap -
Dolly Parton
Welcome to July!😎
Once the alarm was turned, I fell back to sleep...
Looked at my watch it was 6.50!!!!
Got up, washed and changed.
Woke up kids.
Breakfast with a slurp of brew.
Gave out my sloppy wet πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹ to everyone.
Now out of the house I go.
Wearing some fancy trousers...
Time to wear the summer coat!
Tree pic.
Now for the fun to start!
The Cheeky Window Cleaner shouted through his window to me:
"You still left your pyjamas on!"
Cheek!
Didn't see the Lambo...
Instead  a nice white McLaren sports car went past me.
A few cars had to test their brakes!
Finished in one piece.
Back home.
Last day for the Bunting to be up in the garden!
Much needed coffee.
Younger son wasn't up,
So we didn't go to Bidford car boot this week.
Instead I did some shopping on-line on the Dunelm website....
"Sale Time!"
My new trainers had arrived.
However, looking at the size of the box.
(Being on the small size)
It turns out they are a size 10!
(I am size 12!)
Wrapped the packet back up, and going to send it back later.
Now to get tea made for later...
Rolled out the pastry.
A bit of blind bake time...
Fried up some peppers, mushrooms, garlic and spinach in a pan.
Once done, I checked the jar of Pesto.
(Gone off!)
I used a carton of  Tomato Passata instead.
Added everything, and put it in the oven for later.
Watered the plants outside.
I had a bit of missmatch for lunch.
Run out of salad, just had bits of the fridge.
I left the house a bit early to post the parcel.
I put on the 50's CD on I bought at the weekend.
Kept playing one song over and over again,
As it is that feel good feeling!
The song is:
Posted the trainers back,
First Class Recorded Delivery.
Now down to do my afternoon shift of Lollipop.
The sun was trying to break out of the clouds.
Summer coat went on.
Now for bedlam to start.
There were two coachers parked further up the road, which caused a backlog of car trying to get pass them. A lorry further down the road, had car drivers backing up the otherside of the road.
Cars everywhere!
Banging of gums as well, especially when I had to stop the car drivers.
One man went past and shouted to me:
"You didn't stop me!"
"I will next time!" I laughed.
Parents were still trying to cross behind the coaches to get over the road in front of moving traffic!
At least I finished in one piece.
I was going to get a drink from the near-by mini-mart.
As I was picking up by Dunelm order, I might as well nip into Lidl and get a drink.
Picked up my order from Dunelm.
Picked a salad and a drink from Lidl next.
Back home to see the Bunting had been took down!
Time to unpack my bargains from Dunelm.
At least the house is going to smell nice :)
I caught up on 3 days newspapers.
Gave hubby a sloppy wet πŸ’‹ when he came home.
Time to slice up the tart!
So yum!
Nice long look into today's newspaper.

Circling That Important Date...

I'd rather be a failure at something I love than a success at something I hate - George Burns
 Welcome to my Tuesday πŸ’‹
Hug with a brew to start the day.
Breakfast.
Hubby went and got the newspaper.
I went back to enjoy the kingsize bed...
Later on I had a lovely coffee in bed with a quick read of the newspaper.
Mike Maxfield (born in Manchester, England) is an English songwriter and guitarist, who came to fame as a member of The Dakotas. He composed "Cruel Sea", a song which was first recorded by The Ventures . The Dakotas later recorded an instrumental version of the track, which was one of the group's biggest hits.
He is 77 years old 🎈

Now to face the world!
I go outside for some fresh air.
It was so warm, all the windows got opened.
I had my letter to tell me to shield until March 31st.
Not long to go until I have the 1st dose of the Covid-19 vaccine...
Not long until my Birthday either 🎈
I chopped some peppers, onions, mushrooms, and garlic ready for tonight's tea of Smoked Haddock fillets with cheddar and mustard sauce.
Now for lunchtime.
We had to guess the year while having lunch.
I have added own selection of hits.....↓
Then I got on writing yesterday's blog post.
I enjoyed listening to lots of Guy Mitchell songs like↓
Time for Tea at 3
5 weeks and 3 days left of Lent!
There is a circle on the calender when Lent finishes↓
Puts the oven on for the tea to cook.
Once hubby had finished work.
Caught up today's episode of Judge Rinder↓
Tea is Served.
Lethal Weapon 2 to watch↓
Great funny film :)
Sleep tea time.
We watched the newspaper review.
Hubby will be getting the Daily Mirror tomorrow as well as our normal newspaper and neighbour's magazine.
"Why?" You ask....
Cold Cases of the 60s and 70s...↑↑↑
Let's hope we have a dry Hump tomorrow🐫
