Just a quick update on how 2023 went for me.

The Best of 2023 

My older son became a Councillor and started at University.

I too, became a Councillor on two Parish Councils

The sequins made appearance....

My youngest son turned 18!

(Even better is I won't have to see my ex-plum any more \o/)

 We visited Blackpool twice \o/

We visited Bobby Ball's statue↓

We visited Les Dawson's grave↓

&

Keith Harris's grave↓

I came first in a Macmillan Bake Off in aid of my lovely friend who passed away in September.

The minion collection is growing...↓

Third Anniversary of cutting off both of my brothers \o/

The Worst of 2023

We stopped in two hotels and after staying there,we won't be going back again. :(

My lovely friend of 30 years passed away in September :'(

My hubby's brother cut contact with my hubby \o/

Their inheritance was paid out, no contact with hubby for two and half months until after Christmas. When hubby had got badly written message from his brother, asking where the £600 payment from a plan their dad took out for his  brother's kids was?

(Hubby didn't realise there was time limit!)

 Hubby's brother had wanted a huge games machine that hubby  got rid off while clearing out their dad's house.

(Hubby's brother couldn't fit it in his car when he came down on the Sunday after their dad had died, when he grabbed the new 2 week old microwave, and coffee maker from their dad's house)

I hope Hubby's brother enjoys his inheritance!

At least my Hubby is paying for a nice new Gravestone for his  late dad and the 5 family members in the family plot. It should be ready in April just in time for his late dad's Birthday.

We went to see Madness in concert before Christmas.

Oh dear, they only played two old hits in 40 minutes. They played their new album, which we couldn't stand. After 40 minutes we walked out of the concert. At least the DJ before Madness came out played some great tunes!

Now to see in the New Year...

Breakfast and Brew

I gave hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before he went to work.

Dressed.

A quick coffee before I went out...

Now out for a little ride in Sexy Beast.

Gets the newspaper.

Now to nip into a Charity Shop for some bargains.

Minions!

Got some more bargains as well...

Time to go home with my minion.....

Liquid lunch time!

I spoke to hubby on his lunch hour.

Emptied the dishwasher and loaded it back up.

Then I made tea for tonight.

In the oven it went for later.

Tea at 3. 

Off to the Craft Room I go.

A little bit of sewing is needed...

My younger son comes back from work.

He had to put up my singing some big tunes⮇

Done \o/

Hubby comes home, and has a sloppy wet one 💋

Tea is served.

Leeks wrapped in ham in cheese sauce.

Another bout of singing just had to happen.

After tea, I looked into today's newspaper.

Now to watch 3 programmes about the Mafia.

Brilliant!

We caught up on the news and newspaper review.

Sleep tea time.

Glad I'm not at work tomorrow.

It is going to be hit and miss with the rain today.

Breakfast and Brew

It is a bit chilly out there this morning.

The Thermal vest be coming out soon...

Instead of that, the jacket came out instead.

I gave hubby a sloppy wet one 💋

before I left for work.

I had to use a different way to go to work.

It's going to pray to get to work safely.

First a taxi pulls out of a side road in front me.

Then a white Corsa was in the wrong lane and pulled straight in front of me.

Nearly to work and a car pulled out of a side road in front of me!

I was so glad to get to work safely!

On goes the winter coat and summer hat.

I went down to turn on my lights.

Then I noticed the rainbow.

I then got  my big stick out of Sexy Beast.

More rainbow...

Now to turn on my lights.

Now to go down to my spot.

The sun might have been out, it still was raining!

 I had a convoy of cars on the other side of the road totally ignore me.

More bad parking opposite me!

My friend who I chat to in the afternoon came down to see me. He didn't come yesterday as he had a bad migraine.He won't be coming this afternoon as he has the Plumber coming out to service his boiler between 1- 6pm.

I said see you tomorrow instead.

Off to Morrisons.

My  younger son is now working in there.

I said "Hi" to him as I went past.

I got my newspaper.

Back home I went.

Coffee time.

I then made tonight's tea,

Hunter's Chicken.

Once done, it was put in the oven ready for later.

I wrote yesterday's blog post.

I didn't have no liquid lunch today.

I used up the salad...

I spoke to hubby on his dinner break.

There was a chance of rain. I took my rain mac.

Off to work I go for the afternoon session.

The road was finally open that I normally use.

Now to use it!

I got on my winter coat and summer hat.

I walked up to turn on my lights.

Those clouds don't look too good.

My friend and I walked down to Charity Shop.

A Minion cup was donated only 10 minutes earlier!

Woo hoo got myself a minion cup!

I had a chat in there.

I said goodbye to the staff.

Turned on my lights and now to fetch my big stick!

Then I went into the square for a quick rabbit!

My friend left to to to work.

Now to enjoy the rays before I start work.

Now to start my afternoon shift.

Cars parking in the Keep Clear over the otherside of the road.

One black Land Rover totally ignored stop sign on the other side and was rewarded with a BOING!.

She didn't like that!

Finished in one piece!

Now home.

Now to use the new minion cup↓

I had to chase up my cake order.

It was supposed to be delivered yesterday.

My cakes are going into the competition next Friday.

I had a email back, saying they will be getting in touch in 48 hours!

The delivery time was 5 days....

Doesn't like it won't be getting here in time!

I wrote a blog post from June.

Hubby came home and a sloppy wet one 💋

Tea is served.

Yum.

I looked into today's newspaper.

My delayed cake order was picked up by the Courier.

Now have to wait 5 working days for it to be delivered.

Give me a train, plane or boat and I will fetch it quicker!

Going to be Wed or Thursday.

Pity I was going to get them done by Monday at the latest!

Roll on Amazon, some of what I urgently need will be delivered tomorrow \o/

Now to rewatch a funny film ....↓

Then it was news time.
