Nothing was happening in the bedroom.I nicknamed our waterbed the Dead Sea - Phyllis Diller
Welcome to my Saturday fun 😁
Before we tucked into breakfast.
It was Heardle time....
Heardle 60s was:
My son's answers..↓
Breakfast time...
Dressed.
Everyone then went out.
Hubby and younger son went to do the weekly food shop and next door neighbours.
Other son was dropped off at work.
I meanwhile had some serious housework to do.
Coffee machine goes on.
Took off the throws off the settee, and gave the throws a good shake outside.
Quick coffee...
Tidied up the kitchen and Dining room.
Washing machine went on twice.
I was ready to put the washing out when it decided to rain!
Just got Henry out when hubby came back from the shopping!
Hubby puts the shopping away, I get on with the hoovering with Henry.
Nice easy lunch afterwards.
Now to check on Sexy Beast.
Checks the tyres pressures.
Now to put some more flowers on my parent's grave.
Looking well nice.
Back home.
Tea in the front garden...
Then it decides to rain.
Back indoors we go.
Back onto writing more blog posts.
We caught up on "The Sounds of the 60s"
UK Top 3 from 1964
3:
Cilla Black - You Are My World
2:
The Tremeloes - Someone, Someone
1:
Roy Orbison - It's Over
Tea time.
Yum.
I had a break from writing my blog posts.
We had a look at the last 2 years bank statements of my late Father-in-law.
To find out where the money had gone?
We found some questionable transactions....
1:Three British Gas Bill Paid for..(He was on a meter for his gas and electric)
2: When he received his annual Pension last April 2021, why was £450 of it transferred out and to whom?
3: £113 he paid to NCC Park Smarter, Sutton-in- Ash.
Parking fine
 When he don't drive?
Pages of pages of things he paid for which doesn't add up...
Back to writing more blog posts.
The kids came back from going to the Irish Night.
I published my 3 blog posts.
I couldn't get hold of the i newspaper....

Rolling, Rolling Into The New Year!

May all your troubles last long as your New Year 's resolutions -
Joey Adams.
New Year's Eve
Welcome to my Friday Feeling 💋
Nice big warm hug.
Goes back to sleep,
Wakes up 8.30am!
Gets up son,
(Who is supposed to be in by 9am!)
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Cuts three pieces of Christmas cake.
Just about to leave the house and it starts raining.
Puts on the rain mac.
Now to leave the house.
I gets the newspaper on the way.
Drops off son with 2 pieces of Christmas cake.
Then off to see my friend with other piece of Christmas cake.
Has a nice chat, coffee.
Wishes her a Happy New Year.
Gets back home.
Hubby had took all the things off the bathroom wall, ready to apply some nice blue paint to the walls.
The Dunelm order I put in on Christmas Eve, which was supposed to be ready for yesterday, isn't ready, which doesn't help that I had ordered some rollers to paint the wall with!
I put a Click and Collect order with Screwfix for some rollers,
(I checked they had some in stock before I ordered them.)
We went out to Morrisons to get some bits.
(Hoping I would get the text message to pick up the rollers while I was out)
We have a easy lunch when we got back.
With some much needed coffee.
I opened my packets that came this morning.
It didn't help the one sat in the chair, the arm had broken off in the process of being delivered.
Do you think I could find my super glue?
One of the kids used it last time, and didn't give me back!
Great.
I had to go and order some more!
I went to see how hubby was doing on painting the bathroom.
As we had no paint rollers,he had to use a paint brush instead.
I put my hand on a bit of newly painted wall.
I had a nice blue hand ;)
Time to relax with coffee.
Now to write yesterday's blog post.
Still nothing from Screwfix.
(It is now shut until Sunday)
I have tried to cancel my Dunelm order as my order has frozen in time!
Time for a much needed drink as well.
 Boxes up the Nutcracker Soldiers
&
Christmas House.
As the Christmas Decs are coming down tomorrow.
Hubby starts on his Rum...
We had some party food to eat.
We caught up on a tv programme we recorded earlier on in the week about Terry Wogan.
Wogan:Now You're Talking.
Then onto
"Have I Got News For You" Best of 2021.

He died aged 87 in 2006
Veronica "Randy" Crawford  is an American jazz and R&B singer. She has been more successful in Europe than in the United States, where she has not entered the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist. However, she has appeared on the Hot 100 singles chart twice. First, was in 1979 as a guest vocalist on The Crusaders's top 40 hit "Street Life". She also dueted with Rick Springfield on the song "Taxi Dancing," which hit #59 as the b-side of Springfield's hit "Bop Til You Drop." She has had five Top 20 hits in the UK, including her 1980 number 2 hit, "One Day I'll Fly Away", as well as six UK Top 10 albums. In the late 2000s she received her first two Grammy Award nominations.
She is 69 years old 🎈

I am waiting for the Heating Engineer to service our 15 year old boiler since 8am, no sign of him just yet, as I sit down to write yesterday's blog.
The breadmaker baked another lovely loaf of bread.
I got my Omega delivery delivered :)
I had a important email come through.
I have been added to the Shielding list until March 31st!
Only allowed out of the house for medical appointments and exercise.
One of the Solictors dealing with my late dad's house sale, was given the wrong email for me.When she was given the right email address, she wanted some papers about the house. I told her, the younger brother has all those documents:
As the Whitney Houston's song goes...
I have nothing, no documents concerning the house whatsoever!

I wrote and published yesterday's blog.
Even had time to do my jukebox of tunes on Twitter :)
Lunchtime.
I got through to my Doctors after 15 minutes to see about my X-ray results. My Doctor haven't seen them yet.
I got booked in for a blood test.
As I can't have it done at my normal place no more!
I mentioned I was put on the Shielding list and was booked to have the Covid jab next week :)
I tried to watched the programme that is Number 1 on Netflix...
Bored.
I watched a great film instead.
I enjoyed Tea at 3.
It was coming up to 10 to 4pm when still the Heating Engineer hadn't arrived to service the 15 year old boiler of ours.
I phoned the Council, she says:
 "He turned up on 10am."
"Funny that", I didn't hear any knock on the door!"I replied.
Trying again for someone to come back again sometime next month.
When hubby came back from work.
He had a nice sloppy wet 💋
Pork Belly, with stuffing and veg.
We then watch 4 episodes of Judge Rinder.
