Breaking Free From The Nurse's Uniform

Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like - Will Rogers
Welcome to Saturday!
I woke up without the aid of the alarm clock to listen to "The Sound of the 60's".
 Hubby is looking well GREEN....
I will put on my Nurse's outfit when I get back...
I have a busy day, as I'm doing the shopping duties....
The warm hat today is:
 Sexy Beast needs scraping...
Both kids were up and ready to be out of the house by 9am...

Picked up my dad's shopping list.
Now off to the Salvation Army Charity Shop for some bargains...

Pity they didn't have my size in the heels..
We got some right bargains.
Popped into see my friend,
As it's her daughter's Birthday soon...
(Dropped in a card and present)
Off to do my Dad's shopping at↓
Picked up more Gerbil's bedding from↓
Then to do our shopping at:
Finally finished!
Dropped off my dad's shopping.
Back home finally!
Some great bargains.
I put on my Nurse's outfit, as hubby is still green.
Unpacked all the shopping.
My younger brother popped round to pick up some bits for tonight. As he is getting dressed up as Freddie Mercury in "I want to Break Free" video for a party.
He left to get changed.
I meanwhile, used my halogen oven again.
We caught up more ..

Sunday 23 September 2018

At Least There Was Coffee At The End Of It...

I actually got up far too early for a Sunday...
Early breakfast↓
 The sun trying to appear...
We tried to get some black cocca powder from all the nearby Waitrose.
None have it...
Too far to go to Worcester...
Afternoon fun out....
Did a bit of food shopping:
At Bromsgrove Aldi's for a change...
Got some reduced items from Morrisons.
I just put the stuff down waiting for my son to arrive with a basket, when a man took one of our items, saying to me:
"You have more than enough reduced items!"
Hubby wasn't happy, as the item was for his dad. Instead, hubby got some apple turnovers for 9p.
Next stop: Webbs....

They didn't have what we wanted at Lakeland, so we got it from Hobbycraft for a £1 more..
Webbs are already for Christmas.....

Onwards to the next place....↓

Enjoyed the free newspaper and coffee.
I declined a burger and chips...
I had chicken and salad instead.
The sunshine is still here \o/

Moved the unit into the pantry...↑
It was starting to get cold.
Pjs time!

I moan about spending £15 on a watch↑
Baking day tomorrow!

Spot Of Riding Later.....;p

Woo hoo it's Sunday again....
Hubby wanted a ride, I had other ideas....
Like food shopping, making cards, getting Christmas decorations up etc.
We did our food shopping at Aldi.
I closed my eyes while sat in the car park, praying no one was going to hit my car!
Next off to Waitrose for reduced food,
Added bonus was the free coffee!
Made cards, Christmas decorations are up,
We are just about finished making the mince pies.
Using M&S mincemeat, and some Waitrose's Signature Spice in the pastry.
Hubby's luck might be in for that ride later ;)

Sunday 8 November 2015

Baa Baa Black Sheep.....

Woo hoo it's Sunday again.
Time to the Food shopping!!
Aldi shopping spent £22.22
Waitrose shopping spent £21 on 33 items.
Lots of reduced food and a free coffee.
I even had time to enter the Waitrose's Christmas Tree Topper competition..
I didn't enter a cake into the Cake International Baking Show at the NEC this year.
Didn't have the funds or the ideas.
2 years ago I entered a cake with Shaun the Sheep and Friends in Fancy Dress!
