If I Could Only Reach!

Don't look at me in that tone of voice - Dorothy Parker
Welcome to the fun of Tuesday 👅
Rain was forecasted for the morning, so got the sexy lumo trousers ready to wear.
Breakfast and Brew.
On goes the thermal vest and the sexy lumo trousers.
Time to leave the house in the rain...
I gives hubby a sloppy wet one 💋 before I leave.
Gets to work.
Gets on the winter coat, waterproof gloves and waterproof shoes.
Walks down to turn on my lights.
The newspapers weren't delivered.
Will try to get it from someone else.
Goes and turns on my lights.
Goes back to Sexy Beast to collect my big stick.
Walked over to my spot.
Raining nice and heavy.
Half an hour into my shift, the rain stops and the sun comes out!
Two BOINGs given out and some last minute braking.
I had a convoy of car drivers on the otherside of the road failing to stop.
If I had a 8ft stick I would have got them to stop!
Finished in one piece.
I takes off the lumo trousers, and off to get a newspaper.
Goes to Morrisons to get the newspaper and bits.
Found a list in my trolley↓
Got chatting to a good friend, who used to be my late parent's postman.
He will be celebrating his 80th Birthday in two weeks.
I told him,"He doesn't look a day older than 60!"
He was happy with that!
Got my bits and left the store and home I go.
The coffee machine went on.
Loaded up the dishwasher and put it on.
Coffee time.
More blog posts to write.
I had some "Pick of the Pops"to catch up with.
Nice tune from 1976.
Really good chill out tune :)
Liquid Lunch time
On the way out to do the afternoon shift.
My old neighbour's son went past and waved at me. His friend was following him, and stopped for a chat. Told him of the possible move I might have to do if court action is ruled against me.
After saying goodbye to him.
I left.
There was room in the car park today \o/
Big winter coat, and gloves goes on.
Puts both sets of lights on.
One friend came,
(The other friend was waiting for people to come and do things around his house)
More friends joined in for a group rabbit!
It was time for me to start.
I said goodbye to everyone.
Low lying sun time!
Still had car drivers not stopping on both sides.
I put my stick out, and this car driver suddenly done a emergency stop!
I could feel the burn when I crossed the road in front of him!
Finished in one way.
I'm not going to have a lot of kids to cross over due to the Teacher's Strike.
Now home I go.
Time for a brew.
The friend of my late neighbour's son came around again to stay the Council just can't evict me, I know that.
I was in the process of putting in a Freedom of Information about what the Council is going to do with land my house is sitting on.
I thanked him for coming round.
Hubby came back and had a sloppy wet one 💋
Nice light tea.
(Ate it before I take a photo!)
