Putting It Together!

Reason has always existed, but not always in a reasonable form - Karl Marx
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Big hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Quick ride out in Sexy Beast.
Bloody freezing!
Said hello to everyone in the shop while I got my newspaper.
Then on to town to return my Amazon product.
It got scanned, and sent back to sender.
Back home soon afterwards.
Still freezing!
Coffee time!
Kids were woken up.
One son has to clear out his room ready for his new cabin bed tomorrow.
Hubby goes and get some new tyres for his car.
I meanwhile are making a draught proof curtain for the little window by our front door!
My sewing machine comes out....
Having a little go on it...
Hubby comes back with a much needed takeaway coffee...
By the time I sowed the 3 sides of material and put the blind in, there wasn't another material to cover the 4th side....
GREAT!
I sew some different material on the remaining side. Then added the same material to the one side of the curtain!
Lunchtime.
My wool order had arrived!
My son went off for a job interview with hubby.
The other son was trying to attach the curtain to wood above the window.
It at least will stop the draughts from the window!
Now to start writing yesterday's blog post.
Son came back from job interview, the boss will be in touch soon....
I heard back from my late dad's solicitor.
The buyer still has to sign and send the documents back to his solicitor....
GREAT
I send email to the solicitor dealing with my dad's estate. It is looking more like June before this lot gets sorted.....
Then I won't have to deal with my brothers no more.....
\o/
Put the tea on early as kids on delivering leaflets with Joe and Pete later on.
Once kids have been dropped off.
We have our veggie option.
We caught up on Judge Rinder.
No Judge Rinder for the rest of the week due to horseracing.
Next to watch was:
I made some more pom poms

Sunday 7 February 2021

Counting To Ten!

I'm not a snob.Ask anyone. Well,anybody who matters.
- Simon LeBon
Welcome to my Sunday 👾
Warm hug with brew.
Breakfast.
Had a lie-in listening to the radio in bed.
After a while, it's time to get up!
I need a few items for tonight's meal.
I'm giving Asda a miss and trying Morrisons.
Taking Sexy Beast out for a ride.
We only needed 8 items.
It was so packed with people, that each till that was open, that was a queue of 10+ people down in each aisle. We were in the queue for the self service. People were thinking it was a  good idea to jump in front of us who were queueing!
By the time we got to the front of the queue, I had enough of the queue jumpers....
"The queue for this till is at the back of that long queue:"I said.
Pointing to the long queue behind me.
Three people took the hint.
As we unloaded our shopping onto the belt, a couple with their grown up daughters jumped ahead of the queue and unloaded their shopping on the next self service till. The man with the earphones tried to get into the act, until I told him where the actually queue was!
I was so glad to get out of there.
This was worst than shopping at Christmas!
Surely there are limits on how many customers you can have in a store!
I got a takeaway coffee and the woman serving me, told me:
"People were queueing up since 9.30am to get in here!"
Get's back to Sexy Beast, to enjoy the lovely coffee!
Finally back home!
Light lunch without soup today!
Now to start on the dessert for tonight.
I tried not to repeat what I did last week with the lemons....
Once done, let it set in the fridge.
Just in time for Tea at 3.
I wrote yesterday's blog post
&
Added some great tunes for my Jukebox on Twitter too.
Tea was served up.
I went to serve up the dessert,
When trying to take off the cling film...
It was crash!
Good job I had spares!
Lemon Posset!
