Putting It Together!

Reason has always existed, but not always in a reasonable form - Karl Marx
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Big hug with brew.
Quick ride out in Sexy Beast.
Bloody freezing!
Said hello to everyone in the shop while I got my newspaper.
Then on to town to return my Amazon product.
It got scanned, and sent back to sender.
Back home soon afterwards.
Still freezing!
Coffee time!
Kids were woken up.
One son has to clear out his room ready for his new cabin bed tomorrow.
Hubby goes and get some new tyres for his car.
I meanwhile are making a draught proof curtain for the little window by our front door!
My sewing machine comes out....
Having a little go on it...
Hubby comes back with a much needed takeaway coffee...
By the time I sowed the 3 sides of material and put the blind in, there wasn't another material to cover the 4th side....
I sew some different material on the remaining side. Then added the same material to the one side of the curtain!
My wool order had arrived!
My son went off for a job interview with hubby.
The other son was trying to attach the curtain to wood above the window.
It at least will stop the draughts from the window!
Now to start writing yesterday's blog post.
Son came back from job interview, the boss will be in touch soon....
I heard back from my late dad's solicitor.
The buyer still has to sign and send the documents back to his solicitor....
I send email to the solicitor dealing with my dad's estate. It is looking more like June before this lot gets sorted.....
Then I won't have to deal with my brothers no more.....
Put the tea on early as kids on delivering leaflets with Joe and Pete later on.
Once kids have been dropped off.
We have our veggie option.
We caught up on Judge Rinder.
No Judge Rinder for the rest of the week due to horseracing.
Next to watch was:
I made some more pom poms
Quick look into today's newspaper.

Party In The Airing Cupboard

Housework is what a woman does that nobody notices unless she hasn't done it - Evan Esar
Welcome to my Saturday.
Such a big lie-in, I missed "Sounds of the 60s" :(
(I will catch up later with it)
We have the plumber returning this morning to fit the part to our 13 year old boiler.
As from Wednesday, we have had no hot water....
Plenty of water gun fights outside instead of showering..
 When we got up,
We enjoyed toast and coffee..
 While waiting for the Plumber.
I put a second coat of paint on my big 1960s unit..↓
(It's not orange no more!)
Changed the colour of my other unit too.
(It's not blue anymore)
As normal, run out of paint!
I had Alexa booming out the 60s hits from the kitchen, when the Plumbers arrived to fit the new part.
One Plumber said:
"We are having a party in your Airing cupboard!"
I replied,"I already have the music, just to need fit the glitter ball!."
After an hour they had done the job!
Hot water is back...
Woo Hoo!
Hubby had came back from dads, he had installed his new microwave...As the old one started to smoke!
Back to tidying up our youngest son's bedroom.
He has had that room for the last 6 years.
I can see he has inherited my hoarding skills ;)
One of my kids has mastered crochet↑
 Light lunch with coffee↑↓
At 8pm, it was time to leave alone our son's bedroom..
We had tea.
Then to catch up with more Louis:
with part 2.
It was coming up to midnight......
Time to enjoy the hubby a bit more ;)
