Another Bank Holiday Monday🍾🍾

We had a big big lie-in....

Inbetween the sleeps we had tea

 It was coming up to 11am...

I really needed to get up!

I went outside to have some nice fresh air..

  Hubby went off to get the newspaper,

I went to work....with some good tunes↓

I came back to water the plants in my garden.

I have ordered two more plastic greenhouses.

Just have to make room in the back garden for them!

The washing machine and tumble drier was on overtime.

Susan Brown : an English actress of stage and screen. She is best known for her role as Septa Mordane in HBO series Game of Thrones. 

She is 73 years old.

George  Clooney : is an American actor, filmmaker and businessman. He is the recipient of three Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards, one for acting in Syriana (2006) and the other for co-producing Argo (2012). In 2018, he was the recipient of the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award, at the age of 57.

He is 58 years old.

Wilfrid Hyde-White : was an English character actor of stage, film and television, who achieved international recognition in his later years for his role as Colonel Pickering in the 1964 film version of the musical My Fair Lady.
He died aged 87 in 1991 

The Rolling Stones release "Paint It Black" in the US in 1966. 

Michael Jackson & Bee Gees inducted into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

I got up a bit earlier than I normally do on a Sunday...↓

 

 We had tea, and breakfast in bed.

We had a nice cuddle in bed..

No longer lie-in..

Things need to be done.

Time to get some compost.

I am hoping to grow some of these plants in my garden↓

Now to get free coffee and newspaper↓

 After a late sandwich with coffee..

I went off to work with some good tunes to listen to..

I get back for a light evening meal.

Lance  Henriksen : Is an American actor, voice actor and artist, best known for his roles in science fiction, action, and horror films such as Bishop in the Alien film franchise, and Frank Black in Fox television series Millennium. Henriksen is also a voice actor who has voiced Kerchak the gorilla in the 1999 Walt Disney Feature Animation film Tarzan and Fleet Admiral Steven Hackett in BioWare's Mass Effect video game trilogy.

He is 79 years old.

Tammy Wynette:was an American country music singer-songwriter and one of country music's best-known artists and biggest-selling female singers.

Wynette was called the "First Lady of Country Music", and her best-known song, "Stand by Your Man", is one of the best-selling hit singles by a woman in the history of country music. Many of her hits dealt with classic themes of loneliness, divorce, and the difficulties of life and relationships.

She would have been 77 years  old. 

(She died aged 55 in 1998)

 Lorraine McIntosh : Is a Scottish singer best known as a vocalist with Scottish band Deacon Blue. She has also achieved success as an actress, starring in River City and appearing in Taggart among her most notable roles in television.

She is 55 years old

Henry  Cavill: is a British actor. He began his career with roles in the feature adaptations of The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) and I Capture the Castle (2003). He later appeared in supporting roles in several television series, including BBC's The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, ITV's Midsomer Murders, and Showtime's The Tudors. He has since appeared in numerous major Hollywood films, such as Tristan & Isolde (2006), Stardust (2007), Blood Creek (2009), and Immortals (2011).
Cavill gained prominence and international fame for portraying Superman in the DC Extended Universe, starring in Man of Steel (2013), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), and Justice League (2017). He went on to star in the action spy film Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018).
He is 36 years old.

Walter  Gotell : was a German actor, known for his role as General Gogol, head of the KGB, in the Roger Moore-era of the James Bond film series,as well as having played the role of Morzeny, a villain, in From Russia With Love. He also appeared as Gogol in the final part of The Living Daylights (1987), Timothy Dalton's first Bond film. 
He died aged 73 in 1997

Not Even Got The T-Shirt!!!

Happy time, when you wake up without an alarm clock, is coming. Cheer up!

I set the alarm to listen to "Sounds of the 60s".

Pity I didn't hear it go off due to having my ear plugs in.Hubby had to get up to turn it off, and turn on Radio 2.

I woke up about 7.30am

I went downstairs to make 2 cups of tea....

No lie in, as we were meeting a friend for coffee in town...

*I didn't even have a Star Wars t-shirt too wear!*

At least the sun is back again!

 Paul  Gleason : was an American film and television actor, known for his roles on television series such as All My Children and films such as The Breakfast Club, Trading Places, and Die Hard. 

He would have been 80 years old.

(He died aged 67 in 2006)

was the original drummer with the 1960s band The Troggs, whose hits included "Wild Thing", (UK no. 2; US no. 1); "With a Girl Like You", (UK no. 1; US no. 29) and "I Can't Control Myself", (UK no. 2; US top 50), all in 1966, and "Love Is All Around" (UK no. 5; US no. 7) in 1967 (1968 in the US). The Troggs also had several smaller hits, including "Any Way That You Want Me", a UK no. 8 in January 1967, and "Night of the Long Grass" and "Give It to Me", both UK top 20 hits during 1967.

He died aged 75 in 2009
