Down It Came.....

No one has a finer command of language than the person who keeps his mouth shut - Sam Rayburn
Welcome to my Hump of the Week 🐫
Nice big hug with brew to start Hump Day with :)
Breakfast.
Dressed.
Gets up our kids ready for school.
I give everyone sloppy wet 💋💋💋
I'm glad the sun has reappeared!
Big big sunglasses time!
I still wears my winter coat as it's still freezing cold.
Tree pic
Soon the fun starts...
My lollypop stick starts turning invisible to car drivers, and they don't stop for it!
Some of the parents can't believe some of the car drivers ain't stopping...
I just shrug my shoulders.
I stopped the lamo again.
While I was waiting for people to cross over.
A woman in a BMW went passed me,
Texting on her mobile while driving...
Tut Tut....
I stopped the blue car once more...
(Who tried to kill me Friday morning)
Finished in one piece.
I got the newspaper on the way home.
Half of my Aldi arrived.
The Garden Wishing well will be dispatched on Sunday.
I got tonight's tea ready and put in the oven for later.
Was going to mop the floor, however I couldn't find the dust pan and brush to get up the bits.
Something hubby can hunt down for later on..
Then it started to rain.....
Coffee time!
Now to write two blog posts with some great music from my playlist to sing along with!
Finishes just in time for lunch!
Rain was forecasted.
I was in two minds whether to put on the lumo trousers. I was going to be too warm in them.
I will wear my boots to keep my feet dry IF it does rain...
Boots on and winter coat.
5 minutes before I started my second shift of the day....
The Heavens opened and the rain came pouring down...
Everyone was getting wet.
I even stopped the blue car yet again....
One small white car avoided having her windscreen hit by my lollypop stick by 2 inches....
5 minutes before the end of my shift..
The rain stopped, and blue skies appeared!
I finished in one piece.
Back to Sexy Beast to take off my wet coat and gloves!
Back home.
I got changed, had coffee and crumpets.
My youngest son was going out with Joe to post more leaflets as it's the last day before voting tomorrow.
I left soon after.
Then it started to rain again....
Singing in the rain once more...
Time for more 70s music to singalong with..
I gets in.
Packs up my skip called Mule
The sun is back instead of rain!
Got all what I had to do.
The big big sunglasses had to come out once more!
Time for the return leg of 70s time!
The sun is still shining when I got back.
Had my lovely chicken tea.
(Finished it off before I had chance to take a picture of it ;)
Younger son was dropped back soon after I finished my tea.
He had his soon as he told me the fun he had delivering the leaflets with Joe and Pete.
Some Labour leaflets were dropped through the letterbox of the Tory candidate who is standing against Joe.lol
(I told Joe that we actually had some tory leaflets dropped through our letterbox for the first time in 12 years......straight in the recycle bin they went!)
Quick look into today's newspaper.

Something Else!

The mirror above my bed reads: objects appear larger than they are. - Gary Shandling
Welcome to my Tuesday 💥
I brought up the tea,
While hubby brought up the breakfast.
Dressed.
Out to get the newspaper before it gets busy.
Bloody cold!
Says hello to everyone in the newspaper shop.
My dad's drive is down to 3 cars now! 👏
Goes to fetch the new curtain rail for the hall.
Back home.
Quick coffee time.
While I get the blog wrote.
Hubby has to take off the old curtain rail and put the new one on.
Quick job we thought....
Kids were going to help Joe delivering more leaflets. I cut Joe and Pete some cake.
Lots left↓
We had some soup for lunchtime.
The one curtain rail was finally took off.
The 12 year old blind was took down as well
(the covers the little window).
Hubby had broke 3 drill bits trying to put the brackets on the wood covering the wall....
No one had told me that we had run out of staples for the staple gun..
(The other grey staple gun has been reported missing!)
The blind is going to be covered in more material as the blind has a gap between the end of it and the window.....
It doesn't help the window is draughty as hell.......↓
Tea at 3.
Finally the curtain rail is up over the window and door! \o/
My bulk load of Sleep Tea arrives from Amazon \o/
It starts to snow again...
Starts making the non-meat Stir Fry.
We watched the whole of Louis Theroux:
Shooting Joe Exotic from the beginning.
The HDMI Splitter I bought yesterday which also came today wasn't working as we couldn't no Sky at all.....
(Something else!!!!)
We watched episode 7 of  season 1 of Snowpiercer on Netflix instead.
It turns out the Splitter was the wrong sort!!
I had to organise the return of it...
(One job to do tomorrow!)
I cut out the material to cover the blind with...
(Another job tomorrow to do)
I ordered the new cabin bed for my son's box room. It's coming Thursday morning.
My son will have sort through his room tomorrow.
