Tickled Pink!

“The only thing better than a long weekend is that it's followed by a short work week..” ... 
I needed a cup of tea.....
I got up a bit earlier than I normally do on a Sunday...↓
 
 We had tea, and breakfast in bed.
We had a nice cuddle in bed..
No longer lie-in..
Things need to be done.
 The sun is shining
Big sunglasses time!
 Double figures time↑
Time to get some compost.
I am hoping to grow some of these plants in my garden↓
 
Some nice tickled pink plants↓
 Some nice plants to eat flies↓
 We dropped off the compost and plants↓
Now to get free coffee and newspaper↓
Coffee time!
 Now the temperatures are going down↘↘↘
 After a late sandwich with coffee..
I went off to work with some good tunes to listen to..
I get back for a light evening meal.

Birthdays Time. 
Lance  Henriksen : Is an American actor, voice actor and artist, best known for his roles in science fiction, action, and horror films such as Bishop in the Alien film franchise, and Frank Black in Fox television series Millennium. Henriksen is also a voice actor who has voiced Kerchak the gorilla in the 1999 Walt Disney Feature Animation film Tarzan and Fleet Admiral Steven Hackett in BioWare's Mass Effect video game trilogy.
He is 79 years old.
Tammy Wynette:was an American country music singer-songwriter and one of country music's best-known artists and biggest-selling female singers.
Wynette was called the "First Lady of Country Music", and her best-known song, "Stand by Your Man", is one of the best-selling hit singles by a woman in the history of country music. Many of her hits dealt with classic themes of loneliness, divorce, and the difficulties of life and relationships.
She would have been 77 years  old. 
(She died aged 55 in 1998)
 Lorraine McIntosh : Is a Scottish singer best known as a vocalist with Scottish band Deacon Blue. She has also achieved success as an actress, starring in River City and appearing in Taggart among her most notable roles in television.
She is 55 years old
Henry  Cavill: is a British actor. He began his career with roles in the feature adaptations of The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) and I Capture the Castle (2003). He later appeared in supporting roles in several television series, including BBC's The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, ITV's Midsomer Murders, and Showtime's The Tudors. He has since appeared in numerous major Hollywood films, such as Tristan & Isolde (2006), Stardust (2007), Blood Creek (2009), and Immortals (2011).
Cavill gained prominence and international fame for portraying Superman in the DC Extended Universe, starring in Man of Steel (2013), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), and Justice League (2017). He went on to star in the action spy film Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018).
He is 36 years old.
Walter  Gotell : was a German actor, known for his role as General Gogol, head of the KGB, in the Roger Moore-era of the James Bond film series,as well as having played the role of Morzeny, a villain, in From Russia With Love. He also appeared as Gogol in the final part of The Living Daylights (1987), Timothy Dalton's first Bond film. 
He died aged 73 in 1997

Getting The Hot Pants Ready!

On Saturday Morning, I like to get up early and go out! TV is banned! - Debra Stephenson.
Hey Hey it's Saturday...
I woke up early,
Made the tea...
&
Listened to "Sounds of the 60s" in my warm bed 🛏 .
Followed by breakfast..
 I had to write down my predictions for the Grand National..↓
Hubby took youngest son out to fetch our new garden gate in Birmingham.
When he came back...
We all went for a ride in Sexy Beast.. 
 Time to get some goodies↓

There were some interesting books↓
 
 Then moves Sexy Beast to the other car park..
 Church on the hill↑

 Some nice hot pants for the summer↑↑↑
While I was stood in a charity shop,
The Fortunes and "You've got your troubles" came on the speakers...
I started to sing-a-long, one man was singing along with me until his wife shot him a look, and it was back to me singing along.

 
 I got some reduced plants for 50p....↑

Dudley Sutton : Was an English actor. He appeared as Tinker Dill in the TV series Lovejoy.He was in lots of films and other television series.
He would have been 86 years.
(He died aged 85 in 2018) 
Billy Dee" Williams Jr : Is an American actor, artist, and singer. Williams is best known for his role as Lando Calrissian in the Star Wars film franchise, first appearing in The Empire Strikes Back in 1980. Williams has also appeared in critically acclaimed films like Brian's Song (1971), Lady Sings the Blues (1972), Mahogany (1975), Nighthawks (1981), and Batman (1989), in which he portrayed Harvey Dent. In July 2018 it was announced that Williams would return as Lando Calrissian in Star Wars: Episode IX.
He is 82 years old.
Roy Thinnes: is an American television and film actor best known for his portrayal of lonely hero David Vincent in the ABC 1967–68 television series The Invaders.
He also played Alfred Wentworth in the pilot episode of Law & Order. He starred in the 1969 British science fiction film, Journey to the Far Side of the Sun (also known as Doppelgänger). 
He is 81 years old.
Michael Rooker: Is an American actor, best known for his breakout role as Henry in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986), as well as his roles as Terry Cruger in Sea of Love (1989), Rowdy Burns in Days of Thunder (1990), Bill Broussard in JFK (1991), Hal Tucker in Cliffhanger (1993), Jared Svenning in Mallrats (1995), Merle Dixon in The Walking Dead (2010–2013), and Yondu Udonta in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and its sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017). 
He is 64 years old.

He died aged 88 in 2015
