Had the normal nudge for tea...
Gave hubby a sloppy 💋 before he left for work.
Time to open the windows, and wake the kids up!
Once they were dressed and had breakfast.
Quick coffee and nibbles↓
 Back on the walking wheel...↓
 
 The blossom is out on the Pear Tree.
Nice easy walk to fetch the newspaper..
 Will have to go another way tomorrow,
Didn't crack the mile!
I had a quick look at the Birthdays
 William Holden: Was an American actor who was one of the biggest box-office draws of the 1950s and 1960s. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor for the film Stalag 17 (1953), and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for the television film The Blue Knight (1973). Holden starred in some of Hollywood's most popular and critically acclaimed films, including Sunset Boulevard, Sabrina, The Bridge on the River Kwai, The Wild Bunch, Picnic and Network. He was named one of the "Top 10 Stars of the Year" six times (1954–1958, 1961), and appeared as 25th on the American Film Institute's list of 25 greatest male stars of Classic Hollywood Cinema.
He would have been 101 years old.
(He died aged 63 in 1981)
Ronald Wycherley better known by his stage name Billy Fury: Was an English singer from the late 1950s to the mid 1960s, and remained an active songwriter until the 1980s. Rheumatic fever, which he first contracted as a child, damaged his heart and ultimately contributed to his death. An early British rock and roll (and film) star, he equalled the Beatles' record of 24 hits in the 1960s, and spent 332 weeks on the UK chart, without a chart-topping single or album.
He would have been 79 years old.
(He died aged 42 in 1983)
David  Bradley : Is an English actor. He is known for playing Argus Filch in the Harry Potter film series, Walder Frey in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones and Abraham Setrakian in the FX horror series The Strain. He is also an established stage actor with a career that includes a Laurence Olivier Award for his role in a production of King Lear.
Other acting credits include the BBC series Our Friends in the North, the ITV series Broadchurch (for which he won the best supporting actor award at the 2014 British Academy Television Awards), and the films Hot Fuzz, The World's End and Captain America: The First Avenger. 
He is 77 years old.
Jan Hammer :  Is a Czech-American musician, composer and record producer. He first gained his most visible audience while playing keyboards with the Mahavishnu Orchestra in the early 1970s, as well as his film scores for television and film including "Miami Vice Theme" and "Crockett's Theme", from the 1980s television program, Miami Vice. He has continued to work as both a musical performer and producer, expanding to producing film later in his career.
He is 71 years old.  
 Eddie Cochran, American rock vocalist and guitarist (C'Mon Everybody), dies at 21 in a car crash in 1960.

 After I came back from my job,
the sun was still shining...
 I did a nice roast pork evening meal.
We caught up with..
I finally got caught up with this blog, by writing two blog entries...
Hubby started to snore in the armchair, so I sent him upstairs to bed.
(I remind myself to put my ear-plugs in before I fall asleep!)
We are going to have a nice Easter weekend....time for the 👙 to come out?

No Pain, No Gain!

"Tuesday: The day after Monday that reminds you that you still have four more days of not trying to slap a fellow co-worker." 
Getting used to this walking....
Pity I woke up early...
 In need of tea↓
 I went back upstairs to enjoy a cuddle.
Followed by a coffee in bed...↓
Gave hubby a big 💋 before he left.
I got the kids up, as we were walking to town this morning..↓
 We got the newspaper, 
Now on to town we go...
Through the underpass↓
 
 
 I can see Dunelm from here...↑
 New maze.
I had to go to three shops to get my supplies for Hunt for Red October due soon...
Enjoyed coffee and a nibble in the library.
 On the way home, I found a bit of a Reward certificate from the local High School↓
 Finally gets back↓
A lot of walking done↓
 I needed my lunch↑
I went to work and brought back some cake for my kids.
(Lent doesn't finish until Thursday)
 

 While the chicken was cooking in the oven,
We went down to Morrisons to get a top up on the shopping until Saturday.

Sir Peter  Ustinov:Was a British actor, voice actor, writer, dramatist, filmmaker, theatre and opera director, stage designer, screenwriter, comedian, humourist, newspaper and magazine columnist, radio broadcaster and television presenter. He was a fixture on television talk shows and lecture circuits for much of his career.  
He would have been 98 years old.
He died aged 82 in 2004
Stanley Robert Vinton, Jr.  known professionally as Bobby Vinton: Is an American singer and songwriter who also briefly appeared in films. In pop music circles, he became known as "The Polish Prince", as his music pays tribute to his Polish heritage. His most popular song was "Blue Velvet", a cover of Tony Bennett's 1951 song, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1963 and number two in the UK in 1990. It also served as inspiration for the film of the same name. 
He is 84 years old.
 Mary Isobel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien  professionally known as Dusty Springfield: Was an English pop singer and record producer whose career extended from the late 1950s to the 1990s. With her distinctive sensual mezzo-soprano sound, she was an important singer of blue-eyed soul and at her peak was one of the most successful British female performers, with six top 20 singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 and sixteen on the UK Singles Chart from 1963 to 1989. She is a member of the Rock and Roll and UK Music Halls of Fame. International polls have named Springfield among the best female rock artists of all time. 
She would have been 80 years old.
(She died aged 59 in 1999)
Gerry Rafferty : was a Scottish rock singer-songwriter known for his solo hits "Baker Street", "Right Down the Line" and "Night Owl", as well as "Stuck in the Middle with You", recorded with the band Stealers Wheel. 
He would have been 72 years old. 
(He died aged 63 in 2011)
 David Graf : Was an American actor, known for his role as Sgt. Eugene Tackleberry in the Police Academy series of films.
He would have been 68 years old.
(He died aged 50 years old in 2001)
Sir David Lean : Was an English film director, producer, screenwriter and editor, responsible for large-scale epics such as The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957), Lawrence of Arabia (1962), Doctor Zhivago (1965) and A Passage to India (1984). He also directed adaptations of Charles Dickens novels Great Expectations (1946) and Oliver Twist (1948), and the romantic drama Brief Encounter (1945). 
He died aged 83 in 1991.
Albert Hofmann accidentally discovers the hallucinogenic effects of the research drug LSD. He intentionally takes the drug three days later on April 19 in 1943.

Trying To Escape Monday With Coffee!

First day of the Easter Holidays \o/
I'm on the slow wobbly work wheel today 🎡
I had the normal nudge for tea...
I gave my hubby a big sloppy 💋 before he left the house.
I get my kids up....
They have their breakfast...
Now off for a little walk...

 I enjoyed some nice soup..
 The leaving card for a co-worker who is leaving at the end of the month↓
 The new pink washing line was put up in the back garden.
Two loads of washing went on there.
 It's nice and warm \o/.
My youngest son did a lovely stir fry for me when I got back from Job 2. 
Back out to do final job of the day..

He is 80 years old. 
Dave Edmunds : Is a Welsh singer/songwriter, guitarist, actor and record producer. Although he is mainly associated with pub rock and new wave, having many hits in the 1970s and early 1980s, his natural leaning has always been towards 1950s style rock and roll.He is 75 years old.
Lois  Chiles: Is an American actress and former fashion model known for her roles as Dr. Holly Goodhead in the 1979 James Bond film Moonraker, and as a hit and run driver in 1987's Creepshow 2, as well as such films as The Great Gatsby, The Way We Were, Death on the Nile and Broadcast News. 
She is 72 years old. 
 Kenneth  Williams :Was an English actor, best known for his comedy roles and in later life as a raconteur and diarist. He was one of the main ensemble in 26 of the 31 Carry On films, and appeared in many British television programmes and radio comedies, including series with Tony Hancock and Kenneth Horne.
He died aged 62 years old.
 John Fred Gourrier  known by his stage name John Fred: Was an American blue-eyed soul, swamp pop, rock and roll, and R&B performer from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, best known for the 1967 hit song "Judy in Disguise (With Glasses)".
He died aged 63 years old in 2005. 
 Richard LeParmentier: Was an American actor who worked primarily and lived in the United Kingdom, best known for his role as Admiral Motti in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977) and the acerbic police Lt. Santino in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988).
He died aged 66 in 2013
