Another Dose Of Sunday...

The goal of Sunday, is to leave my home as little as possible - Mark Morris
I had a little lie-in....
Nice cuddle and 💋💋 in bed.
However we had lots to do...
Our white gerbil, Angela passed over to the 🌈 bridge last night :'( :'(
Twinkle and Tinsal (our other white gerbils) are going in her cage,once we have cleaned it out) 
Quick coffee & nibble time..↓
 The washing machine went on.
Yesterday's load went out on the line...
While Hubby cleaned out the cages...
I went to do my job.
Listened to some great tunes..
I came back, and wondered if it was going to rain?
 Angela was ready to be buried↓
 While hubby went off to do the shopping and bury Angela in my dad's garden.
I had a quick look at the Birthdays.
Bradford Dillman:Was an American actor and author.( His film work included Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971), The Way We Were (1973), Gold (1974), Bug (1975), The Enforcer (1976), The Swarm (1978), Piranha (1978), Sudden Impact (1983), and Lords of the Deep (1989)
 Bradford Dillman was the actor's real name. He said "Bradford Dillman sounded like a distinguished, phony, theatrical name -- so I kept it."
He would have been 89 years old
(He died aged 87 in 2018)
 Kenneth  Cope : Is an English actor. He is best known for his roles as Marty Hopkirk in Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased), Jed Stone in Coronation Street and Ray Hilton in Brookside.
He is 88 years old.
 Bob Grant:Was an English actor, comedian and writer, best known for playing bus conductor Jack Harper in the television sitcom On the Buses, as well as its film spin-offs and stage version.
He would have been 87 years old. 
(He died aged 71 in 2003) 
 Loretta Lynn: Is an American country music singer-songwriter with multiple gold albums in a career spanning almost 60 years. She is famous for hits such as "You Ain't Woman Enough (To Take My Man)", "Don't Come Home A' Drinkin' (With Lovin' on Your Mind)", "One's on the Way", "Fist City", and "Coal Miner's Daughter" along with the 1980 biographical film of the same name.
She is 87 years old.
Tony Burrows: Is an English session pop singer and recording artist. Burrows sang the lead vocals on several other one-hit wonder songs under different group names, Edison Lighthouse's "Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes)" (February 1970); White Plains' "My Baby Loves Lovin'" (March 1970); The Pipkins' novelty song "Gimme Dat Ding" (April 1970); and The First Class' "Beach Baby" (July 1974). He also sang lead vocals on The Brotherhood of Man's "United We Stand", which reached #10 on the UK charts and also reached #13 in the U.S.
He is 77 years old. 
Dennis Bryon: Is a Welsh rock drummer from Cardiff, best known for his work with the Bee Gees from 1974 to 1979. He also worked with Amen Corner and co-produced Robin Gibb's 1983 album, How Old Are You?. Bryon released an autobiography about his years with the Bee Gees on 11 August 2015, called You Should Be Dancing: My Life with the Bee Gees. Dennis now tours with 'the Italian Bee Gees' along with Vince Melouney and Blue Weaver. 
He is 70 years old.
Anthony Newley: Was an English actor, singer and songwriter. Newley achieved success as a performer in such diverse fields as rock and roll and stage and screen acting. As a recording artist he enjoyed a dozen Top 40 entries on the UK Singles Chart between 1959 and 1962, including two number one hits. With songwriting partner Leslie Bricusse, Newley penned "Feeling Good", which was popularised by Nina Simone and covered by many other popular artists, as well as the title song of 1964 film Goldfinger (along with John Barry). Bricusse and Newley received an Academy Award nomination for the film score of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971).
The Guinness Book of British Hit Singles & Albums described Newley as "among the most innovative UK acts of the early rock years before moving into musicals and cabaret". Newley was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1989.
He died aged 67 years old in 1999 
Trevor  Bannister : Was an English actor best known for having played the womanising junior salesman Mr Lucas in the sitcom Are You Being Served? from 1972 to 1979, and for his role as Toby Mulberry Smith in the long-running sitcom Last of the Summer Wine, from 2003 until it ended its run in 2010.
He died aged 76 in 2011

Getting My Hands On Some Music!

I woke up before the start of 
"Sounds of the 60s"...
 We had cuddles and 💋 in bed.
Once we got up, dressed and had breakfast.
I got the flowers 💮💮💮 ready
 Off to the graveyard.
I couldn't find out anything about how he died in 1970↓
 I put the flowers on Andy's Grave↓
 Then on my friend's Dave's grave↓
 The remaining flowers went on my mum's grave↓
 Now to celebrate World Record Shop Day↓
 Loads of lovely vinyl to see...
 Then off for coffee and nibbles↓
 Back home to unpack the vinyl↓
 Plenty of good tunes to listen to↕↕↕

Harry Clifford Keel  known professionally as Howard Keel, was an American actor and singer with a rich bass-baritone singing voice. He starred in a number of MGM musicals in the 1950s and in the CBS television series Dallas from 1981–1991.
He would have been 100 years old.
(He died aged 85 in 2004)
 Paul Sorvino : Is an American actor, opera singer, businessman, writer, and sculptor.He often portrays authority figures on both sides of the law, and is possibly best known for his roles as Paulie Cicero, a portrayal of Paul Vario in the 1990 gangster film Goodfellas, and NYPD Sergeant Phil Cerreta on the TV series Law & Order. He held supporting roles in A Touch of Class, Reds, The Rocketeer, Nixon and Romeo + Juliet. He is the father of actress Mira Sorvino and actor Michael Sorvino. 
He is 80 years old.
 Albert Leornes Greene  often known as The Reverend Al Green: Is an American singer, songwriter and record producer, best known for recording a series of soul hit singles in the early 1970s, including "Take Me to the River", "Tired of Being Alone", "I'm Still in Love with You", "Love and Happiness", and his signature song, "Let's Stay Together". Inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995, Green was referred to on the museum's site as being "one of the most gifted purveyors of soul music".He has also been referred to as "The Last of the Great Soul Singers".Green was included in the Rolling Stone list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time, ranking at No. 65, as well as its list of the 100 Greatest Singers, at No. 14. 
He is 73 years old. 
Stephen Stucker :Was an American actor, known for portrayals of bizarre, larger-than-life characters, notably the manic control-room worker Johnny in the early 1980s Airplane! movies
He died aged 38 in 1986

Getting On Top Of The Friday Feeling

I break up for my two weeks Easter Holiday today :) :)

It was still freezing cold when I left the house↓

I had a Fiat 500 up my arse all the way to my friend's house.
She was so near to my back end of Sexy Beast, she could have kissed it.💋
I had a good yak and coffee before I said goobye..

 María de Montserrat Viviana Concepción Caballé i Folch:  was a Spanish operatic soprano. She sang a wide variety of roles, but is best known as an exponent of the works of Verdi and of the bel canto repertoire, notably the works of Rossini, Bellini, and Donizetti. She was noticed internationally when she stepped in for a performance of Donizetti's Lucrezia Borgia at Carnegie Hall in 1965, and then appeared at leading opera houses. Her voice was described as pure but powerful, with superb control of vocal shadings and exquisite pianissimo.
Caballé became popular to non-classical music audiences in 1987, when she recorded, at the request of the IOC, "Barcelona", a duet with Freddie Mercury, which became an official theme song for the 1992 Olympic Games. She received several international awards and also Grammy Awards for a number of her recordings.
 She would have been 86 years old.

 Ned Miller : Was an American country music singer-songwriter. Active as a recording artist from 1956 to 1970, he is known primarily for his hit single "From a Jack to a King", a crossover hit in 1962 which reached Top 10 on the country music, adult contemporary, and Billboard Hot 100 charts. He had several more chart singles in his career, although none matched the success of "From a Jack to a King". He also composed and recorded "Invisible Tears".
He would have 94 years old.

Jeremy Beadle: Was an English television presenter, radio presenter, writer and producer. During the 1980s he was a regular face on British television, and in two years appeared on 50 weeks of the year.
He would have been 71 years old.
(He died aged 59 in 2008)
Andy García: Is a Cuban American actor and director who became known in the late 1980s and 1990s, having appeared in successful Hollywood films, including The Godfather Part III, The Untouchables, Internal Affairs and When a Man Loves a Woman. In the 2000s, he starred in Ocean's Eleven and its sequels:, Ocean's Twelve and Ocean's Thirteen, and in The Lost City. In recent years he's had a career resurgence in such films as Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Book Club, The Mule, and My Dinner with Hervé.
García was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Vincent Mancini in The Godfather Part III. He was Emmy Award- and Golden Globe Award-nominated for his titular role in For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story.
He is 63 years old.
Harvey Ball : Was an American commercial artist. He is recognized as the designer of a popular smiley graphic picture, which became an enduring and notable international icon.
He died aged 79 in 2001
