Shaking My Booty #3

Wow we have reached Saturday.

Extra long lie-in,

First cup of tea since my mouth operation!

Playing "Words With Friends" a lot today

 Getting better at it!

Testing those little grey cells!

We walked around  the Lake in the sun.

A nice 1.5 mile walk.

The Fun Fair was around the lake.

While my kids enjoyed their time on the bouncy castle.

The Fair was booming out some great 1970's tunes

My toe was tapping, and even my tail feather was being shaken!

Welcome to April!

I'm still suffering from my operation from Wednesday.

Still on liquid food and no coffee or tea....

Pure hell, and with the annoying pain in my mouth too.

We visited Worcester this afternoon.

Good look round the charity shops.

Visited Laura Ashley shop.

The cheapest item was 24 cupcake cases was £12, down to £7.20.

I had that Pretty Woman moment again

(When Julia Roberts enters the store on Rodeo Drive and was snubbed)

I wasn't snubbed, but was looked up and down at.

Hopefully I find a use for the cupcakes cases.

Got back to the car for something to eat.

My youngest son said,"Could I have a Quickie?".

"No Jack is called Quiche!"

At Least I'm Not Missing Out On That!

Due to the operation to have my wisdom tooth out yesterday,

I didn't sleep too well.

 Nice little reminder on Facebook, 12 months ago, it told me I was having chronic toothache.

Washing mouth out with salt water, and painkillers being taken.

Off to the Doctors for blood test.

Both arms being tight once more, 3 nice bruises later, still no blood.

Will try again next week.

At the moment I am missing coffee,tea and solid food.....;'(

At least I'm NOT missing out on hugs, kisses and nibbles......:P

 

Time To Lose More Wisdom #2

It's Hump Of The Week.

The day is finally here.

To visit my local Hospital to have two teeth removed.

Kalms tablets took before hand.

I did ask "Is the room was soundproof?"

After I screamed while they were trying to remove the first tooth

They understood what I meant!

Hubby was sat in the waiting room, hearing my screams

They numbed the gum again to remove the wisdom tooth.

Now I feel like I have been punched a few times in the mouth.

No coffee, only water and yogurt for a few days.

At least It's going to be a be quiet from me talking as well.

"Let's raise the flag and clap" says my cheeky hubby!

 

Much Prefer Hard To Soft Any Day!

It doesn't feel like a Tuesday.

Nice lie-in with hubby.

House was so quiet at 9am.

I made a nice cuppa and surprised my hubby with tea in bed!

Not looking forward tomorrow.

It's another Hump Of The Week.

It could go either way, good or bad

Hubby was getting ready to go to snooker tonight.

He was saying his tip was a bit hard.

I joked, "I much prefer hard than soft!"

 

Testing Of The Little Grey Cells....

Welcome to my Bank Holiday Monday!

We weren't in the mood to rush about.

Nice easy day at home.

Fixed the roof of the shed

(Got the tarpauling for free)

Tested our little grey cells on Words with Friends.

One child of ours won all of us in the morning.

Then when he was about to lose to hubby in the evening.

Down came the red mist, stamping of feet,

And he stormed off upstairs.

Oh dear......

 

  

Words Don't Come Easy To Me!

Happy Easter!

Making the most of the sunshine.

To burn off chocolate eggs and bacon sandwiches..

Nice 1.5 mile walk around the near-by lake.

Got a itchy baking hand.

So made some Easter cupcakes!

Then we all played Words with Friends.

Once I had a Ovaltine.

My brain started to work!

By 2.30am,I had won at least one game!

Hurrah!
