Lack Of Computer Love...

A day doesn't go by, for me to have problems...

This time, it's my blog writing/book writing, Social Media computer!

Last night half way through last night blog entry, it went down...

(Good job I saved it, and published it via other means)

Rebooted computer twice in the last 24 hours.

I couldn't find a half decent USB hub in this town.

So we paid a visit to PC World/Currys in Shirley.

My kids went Wow at the big Televisions!

Even the toasters were expensive

Found a decent USB Hub.

However, they forgot to scan the reduced price and we paid the full price. Back to the customer services desk for a refund of £4!

Now got to wipe the computer(so had to order a external hard drive) and to go back to Windows 8, as having so many problems with Windows 10!

As least my hubby's warm hands don't need replacing!

Making The Most Of The Sunshine

The noise of cement being dug up, started at 7.50am.

(From the factory next door!)

I'm not putting up with that noise all morning!

Sunhat,sunglasses, sun cream and a bottle of water.

Time for a little walk in the sunshine with my 2 bodyguards!

We got to Forge Mill Needle Museum.

Walked to Sainburys for a cheeky box of ice creams.

Back on the Miller's Trail..

 We got back home in just over 2 hours.

We did 3.64 miles and lost over 1400 calories!!!

Already got a few walks lined up for next week.

( Larry sulking,as he missed out today!)

Now to enjoy the warm hands of my hubby for a rub down :P 

Adding More Pink!

We took Larry for a ride out...

(Back to the walking tomorrow)

 

  Plenty of lovely pink items at Asda

  To help with my pink themed kitchen!

 Then to help my Dad tidy his patio area up

More fresh air by picking the ripe black berries in the front garden!

Back to sprinkling lots of Friday Feeling tomorrow

(especially over my kids after completing the four mile walk...)

 

Talking Hump...

Welcome to my Hump Of The Week.

Today was getting things sorted at home.

Giving my feet a much needed rest.

 I will start Job 3 next month \o/

I had a lovely man fix Larry \o/

Besides putting washing on the line.

It's been none stop chatter to everyone.

Some people didn't believe how much I can talk...

They had to hoist up the white flag...

Now to recharge the batteries in my mouth!

Getting A New...Nickname!

Once again Larry was laid up.

So making most of the sunshine.

We went out like nomads for some fresh air

 Ended up doing 3 walks in the whole day.

Altogether we walked 2.75 miles, and burnt off 1162 calories.

I had lots of black coffee afterwards.

I went to a Leader's meeting.

I am now a Beaver Leader in September!

Now for that unique nickname I have to have....

 

Burning Chins..

After the fun of waiting 6 hours to be rescued by Green Flag yesterday

(The Auxiliary Belt  had shredded it self)

I was nursing two red burnt arms...and Larry not going anywhere to be repaired just yet!

Walked to town for a nice coffee!

(needed to get out of the house after yesterday!)

Visited Poundland for more supplies.. 

Walked to my dad's (with kids in toe)

"You got to get rid of Larry, he is turning into another Money Pit!" My dad said.

Then walked back.

Results are:

2.86 miles

burnt off: 1089 Calories

I have put a complaint in to Green Flag about yesterday.

At least I won't be walking the streets alone for the next 4 weeks.

(I will have 2 bodyguards with me)
